I bought a car battery charger approximately 2 years ago it wouldn't charge properly it just kept clicking on to charged, so I returned it to local motor factors who said it was better suited to truck batteries, so downgraded to a smaller charger this seemed to work fine for around 1 year and now has the same problem charges battery for an hour then clicks on to charged it is supposed to come on and off until fully charged.
I phoned Sealey Technical who told me to return it to local motor factors who would return it. They phoned me today saying Sealey wanted £70.00 for them to look at it / repair, a cost of replacement is around £40.00, although this item is out of warranty i expected it to last more than a couple of years.
I have bought a variety of tools, storage etc from sealey recently and although the tools etc are ok quality, the service is terrible.
They use couriers that damage all the toolboxes, they deliver items incomplete and take ages to rectify it.
Even when i have contacted them directly they seem to have an apathetic attitude and blame manufactures for important issues they should be aware of and able to resolve.
