excellent service quick and easy to select your specs .so easy I managed it .all i needed was my prescription.i have now got a spare set of glasses should i lose my expensive specsaver ones , these only cost me £11 .sweet!

they offer a full range of glasses most types of lens. i love the value range, frames and perscription lens with anti glare coating for less than £10 (including postage). also real fast service quick dispatch fast postage. my last couple of pairs from ordering to arriving in my letter box 1 week. fantasic!!!!!

Fantastic value for money

This is the second pair of glasses I have ordered from Select Specs . I was so pleased with the first pair, I ordered another pair with a different colour frame. Glasses arrived on time and were a perfect fit for me. Excellent service and fantastic value for money compared to high street prices. I will definitely order my next pair of glasses from Select Specs.

Expensive looking specs . . cheap

For less than £40 I have a new pair of rimless gold (looking) specs with protective coats Etc and they look as if they're worth far more. They take a little longer than usual to arrive, but if you need them in a rush, pay 3 or 4 times this at your local opticians.

Great selection, great prices

Ordered the glasses I wanted at a really good price, with all of the coating, thinner lenses etc. the price was a lot less than the high street. Delivery was prompt. I wold certainly use again.

Great value, easy to purchase

Really easy to order, took about a week to come and they're great. Got hit in the face whilst playing basketball, it popped the lense out but I put it back on and they're good as new! I thought for £6 they would break as soon as they got touched.

Shaky start but recovered well

My choice of frame was no longer available (why was it still on the website?). I chose another frame (more expensive of course). The new glasses arrived exactly when they said they would and are of excellent quality - they fit me perfectly without any adjustment and my vision is much improved over my old glasses. Overall - having saved 50% over glasses from the High St usual opticians - I am very pleased with my purchase.

The best value for money online spectacle store!

I bought my first pair of glasses through Selectspecs and it arrived even before they said it would. I went with a budget option and it looks great! In fact I chose them because my friend has been using them for some time and said they were the best. I will definitely be back!

Cheap BUT greAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAt glasses.

These glasses are excellent. They are the same quality as you would buy at the high street optician for 3 times the price.

Glasses as expected, took a little longer than anticipated to arrive

i saw my glasses at a high street retailer in London.. when I went for an eye test I realised it would be cheaper to buy the frames I liked online. Overall I was happy with the process - I was well informed with the status of my glasses production and being dispatched and as I had the prescription there were no issues there.. the only thing that surprised me was the length of time it took to arrive - about three weeks..
I would definitely buy frames online again.. my preference would be to see some that I like rather than take a risk with something I havent tried on before bu tthat is just me..

quality service & product :-)

As they were cheap but had good reviews I thought I would try them & I wasn't disappointed, great pair of glasses, wish I had ordered more pairs at the same time to save on postage costs :-)

Fast, easy, and high-quality frames and lenses for a price which is actually hard to believe.

I found selectspecs several years ago and since then have not paid anything near retail prices for eyewear again. Both for fashion optical and corrective lenses, selectspects manages to have the lowest prices BY FAR and ships to the states so quickly it is as if their warehouse was located next-door to me.

The most difficult internet order I have ever placed

The most difficult internet order I have ever placed. Seven emails to and fro from the support department to establish the prescription which was originally entered on the website. This was present when I placed a second order but appeared to disappear. In spite of re entering the information 3 times I had to include the prescription in an email before the order was processed. far too long to deliver. Not satisfied with the efficiency of the system. Would purchase again but nervous the same situation would happen again. It felt as if I was communicating with an automated system.

Excellent service! First time order and I will definatley be coming back again soon!

Extremely cheap glasses that look better than a pair I was going to pay £65 from the Opticions. Fab quality considering the price I paid. Came on time, delivered safely and look and feel great! Would highly reccommend to others and I will definatley be ordering from SelectSpecs soon. Thanks!

Terrible service, cheap for a reason

My glasses took a month from ordering to delivery, had I ordered from my opticians they would have taken 2 days.

I was not kept informed as to why my glasses were late, and when I contacted selectspecs I was not offered any resolution other than I have to wait. Other companies would have at least delivered them by a quicker method to make up for some of the lost time.

I will not be using them again, just terrible.

Sorry to hear you're not happy with the service received. Your order actually took just 14 working days (not including weekends or bank holidays in this period) which is just outside our production guidelines of 10 working days. This delay was caused by a slight delay with the production of the lenses.

Please also remember that your generic high street optician would charge you over 3 times the amount for the same product so can offer a faster service providing they have the frame available. We price our products as competitively as possible so lead times can in some cases be longer (which is why we say "90% of our orders are usually shipped within 7-10 working days from the point of being processed").

why go to specsavers?

Have bought on line now for a number of year - but the choice with selectspecs gave them the edge this time - bought 3 pairs - 1 high spec varifocals and 2 reading glasses for my wife. Had problems with the frames on one of the reading glasses but this was resolved very quickly. For me it's how a company resolves issues that shows how good they are - 10 / 10

Great Service, Cool Trendy Glasses

My first prescription glasses, they are not that strong and just need them for computer work, so I didn't want to spend a fortune. The order process was quick and painless, and the glasses arrived 6 days later. Really, really pleased. They very retro, everyone has complemented me on them and cheap as chips compared to the competition. Will shop with Select Specs again.

I am absolutely delighted with my glasses and with Selectspecs service. I was rather apprehensive in using an online optical supplier but I have to say that I need not have had any reservations. Wouldn't go anywhere else on the net

Have always been very pleased with the quality of the vision on all the various glasses I have ordered over the years from SelectSpecs.
Only experienced one slight problem with an order which was fairly dealt to my satisfaction and so am happy to give a good report on this company.

I have recommended them to loads of people at work who all get there glasses from SelectSpecs now.

A very simple way to buy glasses

I have bought 5 or 6 pairs of glasses from SelectSpecs.com now and I have been more than satisfied. (I'd have stopped at one pair otherwise). The last pair I bought arrived in 6 days, which is faster than any high street shop I've ever dealt with. Superb value for money and that is very important in this economic climate. I'd recomend this service to anyone without any qualms. Thanks.

Good value for money, but some styles have very weak hinges

Cheap ranges ok. Good lenses. However, 2 pairs of medium price aviators I bought a couple of year ago had weak hinges - the arms pulled out of the hinge part. So avoid designs with thin hinges.

Buy 3 Pairs instead of 1 and never lose your glasses again !

I have bought many pairs of glasses from Selectspecs and they have never dissapointed. The frames are very good quality and the prescription lenses are accurate.The prices beat any highstreet retailer and I would recommend this company to anyone, indeed I have told anybody who will listen ! For the price of one pair of glasses from say Specsavers, you can have 3 pairs from Selectspecs, which is great because I always can find a pair to wear. lets face it we all "lose" our glasses.
