Superb specs, fab quality and excellent value
I ordered two pairs of specs from the low value ranges to see how I got on. The process of ordering is really straightforward, the website easy to use.
I received regular confirmation and information emails to let me know how my order was progressing.
My specs arrived a week after ordering...faster than many high street opticians.
I was very pleasantly surprised with how good the quality was, nice sturdy frames....which look great, they certainly equally as good as way more expensive frames.
There was one minor hiccup with one of the pairs...I couldn't see as well as with the other pair. I emailed customer services, explaining they were the same prescription with the same pupillary distance and frames roughly the same size. Within a few days I received another brand new replacement pair, this time the lenses were absolutely fine and I could see as I should.
I certainly would recommend this company (and have done). They produce great quality and inexpensive glasses with an all round good service...thanks!

Excellent value glasses but slow delivery
Very impressed with the service overall and very happy with my glasses - I've saved at least £100 compared to the High Street. The only issue was that I had to wait 2-3 weeks for delivery.

WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE
I ordered these specs with a lot of reservations but I need not have worried' they sorted out my prescription for me and the glasses arrived a lot sooner than I expected according to other reviews. I am very pleased all I had to do was tweak the nose pads slightly for a perfect fit. Yes they are a flimsy frame but for me they are just for use on the computer and work really well. I particularly like the rimless frame which I haven't used before and love them I am already planning my next buy from Select specs. Thank you so much.

High quality budget glasses
I have bought designer glasses from select specs before, so when my prescription changed I had been looking for some nice new glasses! There was nothing that took my fancy, but because my eyes were suffering I needed glasses quickly, so I bought two pairs of the budget glasses, which cost less than £20 for both... Delivered! I honestly didn't know what to expect!
The glasses arrived really quickly, and I was surprised at just how good these glassss were! The quality is probably better than that of my previous glasses which cost me well over £100! I've had loads of compliments on them too! There's nothing fancy about them, but I am still on the lookout for a fancier pair.... Bit for general everyday use, they're fantastic! I would definitely recommend them, and already have done!

SelectSpecs for Selective people.

Shockingly Poor Experience
I’m going to have to be one of those people that expresses complete disbelief as to where all of these positive and glowing reports come from for this sad excuse of a company.
When things go wrong with this lot they offer almost non-existent support. I placed an order for one of their cheapo frames with a tint, lead to believe that it would arrive within 10 days. A few weeks later and my order was still listed as “In Progress” (which it was very quick to change to initially – I wonder why…so you can’t cancel it of course). Don’t worry, I thought, a quick online ticket raised to their customer services (they don’t use phones) will get to the bottom of it…yeah right. Three days later I got a partial reply saying that they were going to look into it. Great, I thought, a quick phone call by them to their supplier and I’ll be updated. Nope, four days later got another reply saying that it’s late (like I didn’t know) with no further ETA. By this time it was time to cancel with of course another few days taken for them to confirm.
Don’t be misled that they have any sort of quick turn-around. Even the frames that are supposed to be sent from the UK “within 10 days” are still received firstly from China. I know that after ringing their Kent based optician out of sheer desperation, who incidentally couldn’t do anything to help.
Lessons learned on my part…you get the service that you pay for. Obviously never deal with this company again and also never deal with another company that doesn’t offer either phone support or live chat.

Good Service, Good Prices, GREAT Style
Purchased a pair of Oakley Currency glasses from Select Specs. They were a great price compared to other sites. The glasses ended up being on backorder, so they gave me a free pair while I waited. Both pair had clear, light lenses of great quality. Will definitely be purchasing ALL of my eyewear from Select Specs from now on.

Excellent value alternative to overpriced highstreet opticians
It's an easy and inexpensive way to buy glasses - at a wide range of prices, yet the most expensive designer ones on offer are still way cheaper than on the high street. However, even the cheapest "value" glasses are of good quality too.

Great Quality Glasses for a Great Price!
I was not expecting much as I picked a really cheap pair of glasses (vista rimless in silver) but when they arrived I was pleasantly surprised! They were as good as if not better than any expensive designer brand I have seen in the shops. It is perfect for people who wear glasses but don't want it to be obvious, you can hardly tell I am wearing glasses at all. The customer service from the website is spot on and they are very helpful. The delivery was a bit slow (ordered on first day of month and arrived on last day of month) but I don't see that as a negative as I ordered it to be delivered to Spain and you are lucky if your post turns up at all here! I would definitely recommend this company and will definitely use them again!

unbelievable value for money
I still can't believe at what price I got my pair of glasses. In normal shops my glasses would have cost me at least 300 euro's or more. At Hans Anders I could have gotten 2 pairs and one pair of sunglasses, but then still for 100 euro's more then 3 pairs of complete pairs would have costed me at Selectspecs. And the glasses are great. Everybody likes the style and the quality is great!

There's no better spec service worldwide!
I haven't had new glasses for 9 years as I'm an avid contact lens wearer and it just always cost too much. My local optician quoted me AUD160 for lenses with frames starting at $200. I thought, not worth it seeing as I only wear them at most 4 times a year. Later that day I browsed my way onto Selectspecs and less than 2 weeks later received a pair of on-trend custom made glasses for $40 inclusive! I could hardly believe it when they fit, suited me and were more comfortable than my existing pair. Needless to say, I've recommended Selectspecs to everyone I know.

cheap and it shows
Only had my glasses a couple of Weeks and the nose rest fell of, there screwed on and the screw fell out, looked at all my other glasses and there all riveted, so super glue to the rescue!!
