This is not a review of the quality of the product. I ordered a bouquet to be delivered on 24th December No where was there a warning that this date could be honoured.l I ordered on this date because I wanted to send a lovely bunch of flowers to a friend who was embaressed financially and knew that if the flowers were delivered on this date they could not have time to get us a gift in return which they could not afford and we didn't wish them to do. The bouquet was delivered on 19th December and guess what happened. Our friends bought a reciprocated present which they couldn't afford and which we didn't want them to do. Thanks we will not be returning. And we will not be recommending to our friends.
Received a bunch of flowers today with no message so decided to ring Guernsey Flowers and ask for details so that I could thank the sender. Seemed simple enough. However, despite the fact that I gave the order number and my full address, several times, I was told that no such order appeared to exist. I was using an 0844 number, expensive at the best of times, and I felt that the woman on the end of the other line was delaying the call - how many times did I need to repeat the spelling of my name and where I lived? I got nowhere and still do not know who sent me the flowers - if you want to send flowers to someone, I would advise that you do not use this company; the staff are incompetent, offhand and surly and imply that the customer is at fault. An apology would have eased the entire situation but apparently this has not been part of the training?
I have returned to the website and still cannot see where I can get the details (address etc) of my usual recipients – they promised it back in Oct 08!! If this feature is not there then there is little incentive to remain loyal to this company.
