Unfortunately after a first poor experience with Silver Shuttle I returned again for another booking. I had hoped my experience may have been a one off with the original driver but unfortunately this was not to be the case. We had booked a pick up from Heathrow. The driver was extremely rude, was difficult to find the driver in the airport, with no sign posting the pick up service. The flight was 30 minutes delayed and he so was irate by the time we managed to find him, he began being very aggressive and informed me that I was lying that the flight had been delayed. Even though clearly on the arrival screen it confirmed this. He went on to tell me that he now had to pay more for the parking. After this confrontation with the driver, I did not feel comfortable getting in the car with the driver.
Silver Shuttle did refund my booking, however, unfortunately with 2 extremely poor experiences with the company I can no longer trust the drivers they employ. The customer service team have been fantastic, and its a shame this experience with the drivers is no replicated. A more robust hiring process and screening would be beneficial for the company.
