I ordered a Franke mixer tap at the end of November and it was delivered within a couple of days. However, I didn't have it fitted until 17 December. On 12 January the anti-splash plastic fitting in the spout of the tap dropped out and I was unable to re-fit it. I thought it had split in two as there was still some plastic left in the tap spout. I e-mailed Sinks and Taps and told them what had happened. No rely. I e-mailed them a second time and flagged my message High Priority as I wanted to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. To date I have still not had a reply.
Luckily I contacted the manufacturer, Franke, and the very next day they sent me a replacement fitting.
Even if Sinks and Taps do not hold spare parts I think they could have at least replied to my e-mails and tried to resolve my problem. Not impressed with their after sales service. COULD DO BETTER!!!
After a mixup elsewhere we had to get a belfast sink and tap set at short notice as our kitchen fitter was onsite waiting. These guys had everything in stock and delivered it the very next day. Sink and taps look fantastic!
Take care when dealing with this firm, I ordered a Hot water Tap on the 4th they took the money using their Paypoint agent. £679!!!!!!!!! I HAD NO DELIVERY DATE SO I CALLED THEM, IT TRANSPIRED THEY DID NOT EVEN HAVE IT IN STOCK. They have since told ne they had it in stock then why did'ant they send it to me immediately just like any other on line seller? I DONT BELIEVE A WORD THEY SAY
I told them i wanted my money back I STILL DO NOT HAVE IT SO THEY TOOK £679-00 they told me they made a payback so WHERE IS MY MONEY ?????
Needed a Franke sink quickly after buying one From Frank's online site, they said it was in stock and it had been discontinued for almost a year! Karen found the replacement sink and arranged a courier to bring it to me. Well done.
