I read some reviews before joining and most were in favour of Skypax, though a lot were saying they were too expensive.
I buy things in bulk and whilst I can't comment on receiving/forwarding single items, I can certainly vouch for them when it comes to receiving many items. It's very cost effective and I'm very please with the service I've received thus far.
The only thing I have in the 'cons' list would be the current system that logs in parcels. Instead of calculating the cost of multiple items, one by one (to forward), it seems there are flat rates and so one small item can push you from a quote of £30 to £50, then from £50 to £91, that coupled with the fact I'm being quoted volumetric weight for each package received, yet they are being repackaged into one large bundle (which is great for me), but in reality, it is quite smaller than the actual package I am quoted for.
Overall though, I don't see a better option out there and believe me, I've looked long and hard.
A fantastic way to reliably get goods from home to abroad when you have no alternative means of transportation or local personal contacts - will definitely consider using this service again. Thank you Skypax :)
I had been looking for a parcel forwarding service from the UK to Eastern Europe for a couple of months until I found Skypax. For some reason, the site didn't show up in my first Google searches. So at first I picked a couple of other sites and tried to price my shipping and decide what I was gonna use. I was very close to using a different service but they went out of business (thank goodness that happened before I made the order, otherwise the parcel would've been sent back to the seller and I would've had problems). In the end though, I found this website and I went ahead with my first order through them, praying that it all went well.
At the end of the day the experience was a good one. You have to pay 12 pounds for a one-time forwarding job, and then the shipping fee for whatever parcel you bought. They sent me an email on the day they received a parcel with my name and their address on it, and I immediately asked for dispatch. They shipped it by UPS the next day and the item arrived to me fast and in perfect condition, with detailed tracking via the UPS website.
All in all, the service is pricey, but if you really want something and want a service you can trust, I recommend them. If I ever need such a website again I'm coming back :)
Great service for people outside of the UK to order products released in the UK only. Smooth transaction. A++ for customer service. The only option I would like to see is more shipping options. I didn't need my product in 2 days but had no other options. The shipping cost as much as my original product.
Heard about skypax over a friend and decided to use it for some "sensitive" shipping. Perfect service: I got an answer 5 hours after asking my concerns & questions Discrete handling: discrete repackaging, no questions regarding my package Fast delivery: Airmail to Germany, arrived in 3-4 wokrdays if I remember correctly
The service was fast and convenient but I was disappointed about the cost of shipping. The shipping cost for a large letter sized package sent by the basic air mail was so high that it seemed like it was a mid sized box. The problem with services like this is that you get to know the shipping price only when they receive your package. So if you don't like the price you become their hostage.
I like this service, but its limiting and expensive to use often. If Skypax could make it more cost effective, I would certainly use it a lot, but at the moment shipping costs often exceeds the value of items making it less attractive to ship ordinary items
I was very happy with how fast my queries were answered and how quickly my item was dispatched and arrived. I would have preferred some other shipping options that were not so expensive. The shipping close double what my item was worth. Will not be doing that again.
