Efficient Communicative - On the Case
Having been transferred from a local Solicitor, (ill health/retirement of employee) to Slater Gordon, I immediately found that they seemed focussed and wanted to clear the case as soon as possible. The case was resolved within 3 months of transfer. (Some 2 years after the first contact with local solicitor).
I can't thank them enough for expediting a resolution.

Efficient!

I felt they actually cared about me
I had a tricky, drawn out case that followed my being knocked off my bike by a negligent driver. There were various issues that complicated our reaching settlement but I was pleased with the eventual outcome. I felt my S&G solicitor was looking after my best interests and did her best to smooth the progress of my claim. I have already recommended S&G to others.

Slater & Gordon supported me every step of the way
I wasn't sure if I had just been unfairly treated or there was a valid legal case to answer when I was diagnosed with cancer and suddenly I was facing an interview for my own job, despite an outstanding performance record and being in the top 5 per cent of employees in terms of talent and potential and it certainly wasn't an easy decision to accuse my employer of disability discrimination. Slater & Gordon helped me see that clearly there was a case to answer and they helped me to articulate my feelings of hurt and anger in a very logical and legal manner. Kiran Daurka and team were there for me whenever I needed their advice and support through the internal grievance process and afterwards during the pre-tribunal phase. It was a stressful time but their support and clear advice got me through it to a successful outcome.

Prefessional, understanding and supportive service from Slater Gordon
I suffered significant injuries when knocked from my bike on a roundabout in Sheffield. From my first contact when I got home from hospital the service I received from Sara was not only very professional but also sympathetic and supportive while recovering from my injuries. The fact that the team were used to representing cyclists and had a good understanding of the nature of such accidents was certainly an advantage. Excellent advice was given throughout the process and I was happy to receive and appropriate settlement from the car driver's insurers.

Prompt no nonsense correspondence

Excellent and extremely professional
The solicitor provided by Russell Jones and Walker was obviously very experienced. He provided advice and guidance which was very easy to understand and I knew exactly what was required from me to assist my case. Great service, keep it up.
Broken ankle as slipped on black ice. Thanks to Dawn Catchpole my claim was put in place. Every question was answered and Dawn was fantastic. I was offered only £5,000 but got £10,000 with Dawns help. I would rate them 10/10 and would use them again if I ever needed to. Recommend them to anyone.

I cannot recommend Russell Jones and Walker highly enough, In particular Les Elcoate who looked after me. I really did feel like Les looked after my best interests right from the very start of the journey.
I never for one minute thought he wouldn't do his absolute best for me and whenever I had concerns I was always able to get in touch with him, even when I knew he was busy it didn't take long for Les to reassure me and give me suitable advice. I have the utmost respect for the man and would recommend him to my nearest and dearest without hesitation. Les is a very competent and extremely nice man who goes that extra mile to make all the difference.

Excellent support with claim for damages
I received excellent, high quality support in pursuing my claim for damages against the Metropolitan Police following an accident. RJW guided me through the process and sourced all the expert opinion statements that I needed to make a successful claim. They were realistic in their advice and pursued the claim rigorously with the aim of getting the best outcome. The solicitor I dealt with and her colleagues were attentive, supportive and responsive throughout. Although I would prefer never to have been in the situation to need their services, I can recommend RJW highly.

Very helpful
I used RJW to conduct my claim for replacement bike frame & parts, and compensation, when I was knocked off my bike by a car driver who's eyes didn't stretch to seeing a big bloke in a bright yellow top, riding a bright white bike down a main road, on a clear summers early evening with excellent visibility and clear view up the road (rant over).
Communication was excellent & the solicitor working my case was excellent & very patient with me. The driver / his insurance company were useless at responding to us and it was all extremely frustrating to me that it wasn't getting sorted quickly.

They made big promises and they delivered!
I really didn't think that we could get any recompense for the faulty furniture we had purchased when the firm we bought this off went bankrupt, seemingly to avoid the massive payments they would otherwise have had to make.
To be precise we had bought a leather suite, made up of a settee and two arm chairs, which gave my wife and I terrible skin rashes. Until a tv newsbroadcast alerted us to the fact that it was the impregnated leather which was causing this and we were told to stop using these items immediately, we had no idea that this was causing us to be ill, nor had our GP or the hospital we had been referred to.
When we found out about this the firm took every possible legal means to stop our claim for compensation and attempted to block at every turn Russell, Jones and Walker who had undertaken to pursue the case for us when we had given up.
Eventually, due entirely to the diligence, commitment and legal knowledge of the professional staff at RJW and the many months they spent in legal wrangling over our case and other similar ones, we received a full and complete payout recognising that we not only had had to buy another set of furniture but that we had been made seriously ill because of this product.
I have nothing but praise for the truly excellent service we received from RJW. They kept us fully posted at every turn in the various court proceedings and when things appeared at their bleakest not only carried on but continued to boost our often flagging morale. Customer satisfaction of the very highest order!

RJW understood what we had been through & successfully won compensation months before the criminal trial had taken place.
TJW were brilliant. They were available to give support & advice in plain English when we were still in shock after mums death. Then, while we were struggling to adjust to life without mum and fight the sea of paperwork, RJW quietly did all the work needed to win a civil prosecution. They struck that happy medium of keeping us informed without deluging us with calls or correspondence. They were also very good at managing our expectations on how much compensation we could expect.

When I need legal support, who do I think of.

Excellent, speedy, clear advice
This was the third solicitor involved in my case. He clearly grasped the background of the case, suggested a very clear plan of how to close the case and agreed the way forward.
At all times I was kept informed of progress and was included in the decision making process. The case was closed within 6 months, more progress was made in this time than in the previous 3 years.
