We has Jack Greene on extension 311, happily help us out on our order comfimation and give us extra products at a very cheap price and deliver our order quicker! He was very friendly and diden't try and force any products on us! Would happily buy from them again!
I bought a canon digital compact. It broke within two months of delivery (a lens error). It had been used gently, twice. SLR HUT advised me that it probably wouldn't be covered by the warranty as 'Canon products are so flimsy that putting the camera down on a pillow could have broken it and that would be user error'. They then said they'd send me return instructions. These never materialised. I spoke to canon. The camera is a US model, and thus a grey import. Canon US will only deal with North American residents. Canon UK only deal with products made for the UK market. AVOID SLR HUT LIKE THE PLAGUE. THEY ARE RUDE AND WILL NOT SORT OUT PROBLEMS WITH PRODUCTS.
I originally looked elsewhere for this camera, a Nikon D5200. I'm glad I finally settled on buying from SLRHUT.
The ordering was straightforward although I did have to ring the next day. This was when the attempt was made to sell other items. Said no and that was the end of it.
Service was good, delivery was as promoted or at least it would have been if a weekend and a bank holiday had not intervened.
I have no problem recommending this company and would not hesitate to use them again.
Hi, I was quite worried when I found it was being shipped from US, sometimes you get the customs bill etc, there were no problems and it arrived on time, the only gripe I have is my 600D is the American spec so is labeled Rebel where it would normally say 600D, I am slightly concerned about warranty etc but I guess Canon would honor there products worldwide.
I am very happy with my Canon 600d and the lense it came with. I was a bit scared when buying it because of the reviews I was reading but THANKYOU!
I was even expecting the delivery to arrive so quickly; it only took 6 days!

I purchased a Nikon Coolpix P510. I chose SLRHut as it was the cheapest retailer on the net with some of the best reviews.
I was a bit wary at first as SLRHut ships from the US.
I ordered on a Sunday, but had to ring the company on the Monday (via a UK phone number so international call charges!) to verify my order as I had a different delivery address. I was impressed when the camera turned up that Thursday.
The only reason SLRHut did not get 5 stars was the fact that the box only had the US adaptor in. However as soon as I rang on the Friday the customer services acknowledged the error and raised a new order request for a UK adaptor. This did take just over 3 weeks to arrive, but I was told it was on back order.
All in all I would definitely use SLRHut again as despite the hiccup with the adaptor I was pleased with the great price, service and the fact that supplied a nifty little starter kit!
I was after a Panasonic Lumix FZ200 and SLRHut repeatedly came up as the cheapest source by a large margin. I had misgivings simply because of some of the utter bilge written on certain "expert" photography-based web forums (and, it has to be said, by muckrakers on review sites such as this one). After considering long and hard, I went for it.
Let's just get a few things straight. SLRHut ships from the US. Products are NOT "grey" imports. All import duties are included as part of the price you pay - nothing is hidden.
I ordered on a Tuesday (late evening), and my product was shipped within 24 hours. The only painful part of the process was watching it sit for three full days in DHL's depot (from 4am Saturday until Tuesday morning) in the UK before it was sent out to me. To be fair, if there hadn't have been a weekend in the way, and a Bank Holiday after that, it would probably have arrived at least two days sooner, but basically, I got the camera in perfect condition less than a week after placing my order. From the point of view of SLRHut, their service was second to none.
The guy on the order line was helpful. He didn't try any hard sells for extended warranties or any other items - he mentioned priority shipping (which I accepted, because I needed the camera by a deadline), a higher capacity battery (which I decided to take - and although it isn't a Panasonic part, it still does the job), and memory cards (which I turned down, as I already have them and can get cheaply over here anyway). But that was it.
Ordering was fast and simple - especially since they're open till 11pm UK time.
So, ignore any rubbish you might read about SLRHut being dodgy. They aren't. And I genuinely WOULD recommend them to anyone. Just accept that they are not based in the UK, and that you're not going to be able to keep going back to complain if you're one of those people who always finds something to complain about (go and buy from the high street if that's the way you are).
I was purchasing a canon Eos 600d for my son as a present, Allan was more than helpful , giving me advice on what's neded to ensure best performance , I also needed a fast delivery which was fulfilled, I will defo use again and recommend , thank you guys

However I got an email saying call us to discuss your order, it was so they could attempt to add more items to the order.
The guy suggested adding a UV lens, I had one already I informed.
He said, let me check with the manager. 2 seconds (literally) later he said, we can get you one at a special rate of £5 rather than the other figure...
Why not then £5.
The lens doesn't stay on the lens, has already cracked because of this.
Next time, don't waste my time. Just send the item and don't try and offer me something over the phone please!
Looking for an iPad, I shopped around a lot and these guys had the best prices by far. I ordered an iPad 4 64 gb for less than most stores sell the 16 gb version. However when ordering I specified the wrong delivery option, I wanted the 3 - 5 day 'Rush' option but actually requested the 7 - 10 'Ground' option by mistake. As soon as the emailed invoice arrived (immediately) I realised my mistake and got in touch with their customer services straight away. The person who took my call, Jeremy, could not have been more helpful and sorted my mistake instantly. I ordered on Monday morning and my iPad arrived Wednesday morning, not bad for 3 - 5 delivery. In summary, brilliant service and the best price I could find anywhere and I did a lot of looking before committing.
Ordered a Zoom lens, one of the cheapest prices on the internet. Found it a little strange that I had to call after placing the order to confirm it but the sales rep was very helpful. When my Lens arrived it didn't come with the warranty card but was sorted within hours of asking for help on the matter.
All in all a great service and I shall use again in the future.

Ordered SLR camera as a Christmas present close to Christmas, and they were the only company to be honest and say yes it will be with you prior to Christmas but due to our couriers guarantees we cannot guarantee it.
It arrived on the 23rd December which was ace!

The rep when I ordered the camera pretty much said the standard battery included is shocking, I thought this was strange as using my brothers same model camera, never really noticed an issue. Any way he went on to up sell a battery with twice the life I think it was and I specifically asked 'is this a genuine Cannon battery' he said yes. I think you know the rest of this story, but needless to say a china import battery arrived which had cost me 3 or 4 times what it would have cost me on eBay!
I did complain and my complaint was dealt with efficiently but at no time did I get an apology.
I would use them again as they are good at supplying the big hardware at good prices, just be wary of the up selling!
Your customer service is fanatastic. For some reason i couldnt use my credit card to pay for my order and the billing department were quick to offer me an alternative in Paypal. I've since received my camera and i am one happy bunny!

Ordered a Canon 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM on Thursday 18th April. I spoke to someone later, who convinced me to upgrade my order as it may not have been with me in time. I need it for Saturday 26th , so that was fine.
I was pleased to receive an email giving me the DHL tracking details for my item on Friday 19th. I watched it track through DHL's system, and it arrived with me, in perfect condition, on Monday 22nd.
Item was a white box item, and had no warranty card, but it came with all the expected accessories, the optics are in good condition and the lens is obviously new as there is no surface scratching etc on it. My husband ordered my camera from them, which is why I felt comfortable placing the order. I would definitely use this company again.
I was looking for a Nikon D5100 and this site was the cheapest by some margin. After ordering they asked me to call to confirm, which I did and they were very helpful - offered advice and asked if I wanted to purchase any accessories, but they weren't pushy by any means.
Within 3 days of ordering I had my camera.
Worth noting that it appears they shipped the product from USA, but with service like that it was not a problem - in addition the charger etc was standard-UK fit and not USA.
Recently purchased a Cannon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM lens which was considerably cheaper than anywhere else that I had seen. There was no attempt to pressure me into buying other products and Mr Greene was a pleasure to deal with. Once the order had been confirmed I was kept up to date with regular emails about the status of my order. A tracking number was provided which enabled me to keep abreast of it's current location on it's route to myself. After searching on the Internet for the product, SLR Hut were by far the cheapest. i had a call from them almost immediately letting me know the order had been processed and offered accessories at a discounted price. I had great service from the callback they give and did not feel forced into anything. The items were on a 7-10 days delivery, ordered on Monday and arrived 09:30am on the Thursday. Tracking confirmations were sent every step of the way, so I knew exactly where the item was and was able To ensure i was in to receive the item . I would 100% tell friends about this company and will be using again myself in the future.

Placed an order Thursday evening British time (about 13:30 New York Time) after talking to a really nice chap. Advised him I required the goods by 17th/18th at the very latest and was told that the 3-5 day shipping would be more than adequate and that I should receive it even sooner.
He did ask me if I was interested in a long life battery at a discount price as the one coming with the camera only had about 1 hours usage. Kindly declined and he said OK.
Great got straight off the phone and placed the order.
Checked with my credit card company to make sure that it had all gone through a few hours later and it hadn't so thought I'd wait till the next day to give them time.
Tried ringing Friday morning and couldn't get through as the office was shut in the states. No problem waited till lunch time and phone again. Spoke to another nice chap who assured me that the order had been placed and confirmed that I would receive my goods within the allotted time.
Checked with my credit card company once again and nothing. Waited another few hours and still nothing so phoned SLR Hut once again.
This time spoke to an arrogant pushy salesman who was hell bent on selling me upgrades and that if I didn't buy them my camera would only last 30 mins as I was only getting the starter battery etc etc. Kept telling him I was fine but he kept TELLING me I had to have this stuff. He then tried TELLING me that I NEEDED to upgrade my shipping at a cost or around $24 without me even mentioning when I needed it by. When I politely declined he got quite vocal TELLING me I NEEDED to upgrade the shipping.
So with a shipping plan of 3-5 days for an order placed on Thursday I was expecting at best Tuesday 16th and at worst Thursday 18th.
So I have just got off the phone to some absolute melt from SLR Hut who informs me that my goods haven't even been shipped yet and that I might get them by the 19th as that's when I need them? He admitted that they should have been sent very latest yesterday and that he is prepared to ship them on the 2-3 day shipping plan but I still won't get it when I was originally advised that I would.
I tried to explain that although I had been TOLD by 2 of his staff that my goods would arrive on time it was funny how the 3rd PUSHY bloke was adamant that unless I paid more I WOULDN'T get them and that's exactly what has happened he then told me that the PUSHY salesmen Jeremy was right in telling me that.
I told him that I want my money back and after a very heated discussion he hung up on me telling me that he has cancelled the order. Lets just see how long it is before these chancers actually refund me.
I will keep you all updated as to when they finally refund me and I'm betting it will be weeks more than days!
In the meantime though Facebookers please do not buy from this bunch of chancers unless you want to be lied to and treated like an idiot.

Prices online are good, but the order isn't processed until they have called you to upsell you other stuff which i don't feel is necessary when spending so much. They ended up upgrading my memory cards from a basic cheapy one to one costing £50 - i'm still feeling a bit duped as i didn't feel like i had the option to say no. My order wasn't processed for even longer as there was apparently an issue with my payment address, but when i called there was no issue.
Can't give more than 3 stars when a simple order required 2 lengthy phone calls!
But the product is good and useful free starter kit.
After hours on end of web searches, I found myself on SLRhut. First of all, the prices are unparalleled. I was able to find the camera i was looking for, at a considerable amount less than any other sites. Upon speaking to the customer service, who were extremely helpful, I placed my order. Once I received my shipping code, I tracked my parcel to my doorstep. From their depot in USA, to my house in under 3 days. Impressive! Overall, has been a great service, and the prices and experience will be sure to bring me back!
I spent a couple of weeks or so reviewing various cameras as it was my first DSLR purchase. I came across SLR Hut during a routine google search and was immediately impressed by both the information available for the Nikon D3100 (my ultimate purchase) and the price. Some providers were charging more for just the camera body than SLR Hut were for the whole package. I ordered the camera Tuesday evening and within minutes received a courtesy call from John Patrick of SLR Hut. We had a nice chat about my choice of camera and John advised that I should look to purchase a battery with a longer battery life. He offered me an upgrade at a really good price (I checked this while he was still on the phone) and also threw in a 4GB memory card instead of the standard 2GB that came with the package. I was really impressed by this as it was all so genuine and friendly. John was not trying to pressurise me but was giving really helpful advice. I would have needed to buy a spare battery as back up anyway but to get one with much longer life at such a good price was fantastic. The 4GB memory card was a nice bonus as well. I had paid for standard delivery quoted at 7-10 days but lo and behold the camera was delivered this morning (Friday) less than 3 full days after I placed the order. Only two minor gripes; the bottle containing the cleaning fluid had leaked though fortunately not over the camera and there was not a warranty card in the box so I am not sure if I can properly register the camera with Nikon. Otherwise completely happy and will be snapping away over the weekend in the Cotswolds!
Like others, I had my reservations about ordering from a company who I hadn't heard about before and who had rock-bottom prices; you only get what you pay for, right? WRONG!! From the moment I spoke to their customer service (I tend to do this for all unfamiliar companies i order from) to the moment my order arrived, I was filled with confidence. Shipping from the USA to UK took 2 days and fully trackable (incredible).

Brilliant site, cheap deals, great customer service. I had a couple of reservations before buying from SLRHut, but I had read a couple of reviews on similar sites and thought to go for it, I was saving £100 on my Canon 650D than if I had ordered it from Amazon, which were my first choice.
Very fast delivery (I chose to pay a bit extra for 3-5 day delivery, with the money leftover from my saving from the site), got from New York (which is where they're based, as far as I know) to England in 3 days! Ordered on Monday afternoon and arrived Wednesday morning! I was more than surprised. Well packaged, with original box for the camera inside, and several leaflets.
Before they processed my order, I got a call from them (which I'd expected, as other customers had calls as well) informing me that my order was with them and just verifying. The man who called (Jeremy, his name was - if you're reading this, SLRHut, you should definitely give this guy a pat on the back or a bonus or something, brilliant customer service skills and very very friendly), also let me know about a warranty and an extended life battery, which he knocked the price off and I got a 4 year warranty and 5 hour battery for £100 combined. Just before he called I was searching for some insurance and found a quote for £50 for one year - so glad I bought the one I did!
Package came with camera in its original packaging complete with all cables and CDs (check a YouTube unboxing video for all the contents), extended life battery, the lens, a warranty confirmation, a 4GB memory card (upgraded from the complimentary 2GB one, thanks to dear old Jeremy), and a letter informing me of steps to take to get the free starter pack that comes with all orders (or at least the first one, but I'm not entirely sure).
I was able to track the order all the way from NY to England on the DHL website, and got several emails after talking to Jeremy of invoices and thanks etc. etc. I love being able to track orders, so having a reliable tracking number was an embarrassingly big deal for me.
One of the best online shopping experiences I've ever had, everything arrived as expected (apart from free starter kit, which I'm hoping will arrive as soon as I email the company), no tricks or funny business, and very sincere customer service and delivery. This is one company you can tell is dedicated to customer happiness.

Hi, bought this camera off of slrhut after looking for a while on the internet. I knew it was what I wanted but now just looking for best deal. Ordering was simple only thing was the follow up sell. Bought a battery and filter for reasonably price and camera was sent. Easy tracking of package via DHL and arrived within a few days.

As many have, i also checked online for other reviews before finally departing with any cash. With such cheap prices it certainly seemed too good to be true, but after seeing positive reviews i decided to go along and it was one of the best decisions i could have made purchasing a heavily discounted product to anywhere else i have seen online. After purchasing i was asked to confirm through a phone call which can seem tedious but i felt this could only help my security. Through this phone call i was also offered a starter kit with my new camera along at a next to nothing discount price including an 8-hr life battery. All in all i'd say all aspects were positive and cheap prices were not subject to bad service and when i ran into any problems i was able to call for help very efficiently.
