I recently purchased a pair of ski boots from Snowinn.com. They seemed like a good deal and a reputable site. I paid for the boots 18 days ago. They have had my money for 18 days. I just received an email saying they do not have the boots and will not be receiving any more.
After asking around, it sounds like several other people have had the same things happen to them with Snowinn. Do not waste your time and money buying from these people!
Ce site est une honte. Je cherchais desesperent les salomon quest 110 en taille 27,5. Je les trouve en stock "sous 4 jours ouvrés" sur le site avec en plus un code promo me permettant de les avoir à 291,30€ frais de port compris. Super je commande immédiatement et je paie par paypal. Le lendemain je reçois un mail m'indiquant qu'en fait la taille est indisponbile, et m'invite à les contacter pour annuler ma commande (là déjà je ne comprends pas pourquoi le remboursement ne se fait pas immédiatement. Je les appelle, annule ma commande et l'interlocutrice m'indique que le remboursement va être fait. Résultat, au moment où je vous écris, cela fait maintenant une semaine que j'attends mon remboursement, période en plus où j'ai besoin de faire les cadeaux de Noël, le sav est de plus fermé le samedi. Obligée d'ouvrir un litige par paypal, car le site ne se décide pas à me rembourser. Ne gère pas bien son stock et de plus ne rembourse pas ses clients. 1ère et dernière fois que je commande sur ce site, qui est pour moi une véritable insulte au commerce.
Für Reise in USA - Abflug am 06.11.2013, - rechtzeitig, 3 Wochen zuvor, am 16.10.2013, bei "SnowInn" den Reisekoffer Salomon Container Cabin - bestellt und sofort mit PayPal bezahlt. Am 18.10.2013 habe ich angerufen und nachgefragt, wann der Koffer kommt. Per E-Mail kam die Zusicherung, dass am 29.10.2013 der Koffer ins Lager kommt. Am 30.10.2013 habe ich wieder nachgefragt, wann der Koffer geliefert wird, bekam jetzt aber mitgeteilt, dass die Ware nicht lieferbar ist. Hersteller Salomon hat angeblich den Koffer aus dem Sortiment genommen, die Bestellung muss deshalb storniert werden und das Geld wird mir zurück bezahlt. Meine Nachfrage bei Hersteller Salomon ergab jedoch, dass dieser Koffer, nach wie vor, weiter hergestellt wird. Warum bietet SnowInn diesen Koffer, auch heute noch, weiterhin zum Verkauf an? Und wer lügt nun - Salomon oder SnowInn? Hier werde ich bestimmt nicht mehr was bestellen.
I purchase from Snowinn & it states 5 days to wait for supplier & 2days to deliver. After purchase they email me saying they will receive the item 2 weeks later. After 2weeks no news. So email them back for update cos no courtesy to inform me what's going on. Got an answer back saying if I not happy can ask for refund. Email them again thanking them for the bad experience. They reply delivery will be another 2weeks later. Thank you Snowinn. Best way to make profit. Take money from customer and no need to deliver.

My problems with TradeInn (whihc I knew as SnowInn when I was making a purchase of some backcountry ski bindings) might have bene avoided if they had made it clear, up front, that they are based in Spain. This was never apparant during the purchase process (all costs were shown in US $$). My credit card company called to notify me of possibly suspicious activity when the charge came through from a foreign company. That was when I discovered I had been charged almost $100 more than the purchase price, as well as a $13 poreign transaction fee (from my bank). In the course of disputing th echarge with TradeInn, I learned that had they shipped me the product, I would have had to pay import taxes ont he merchandise as well (10-15%), which was also not disclosed.
Anyway, if you are a US purchaser, I'd avoid buying from these folks. They did, eventually, refund my money, but they were never able to explain why the charge was higher than it should have been. Kind of sketchy.

J'ai reçu ma commande sous 8-10 jours MAIS le paiement n'a été débité qu'à l'expédition et j'ai reçu le tout nouveau modèle 2014 à un prix record (remise de 42%).

i made two orders, each one on a different address. first one to Vila Real - Portugal, and the other one to Porto - Portugal. i don't know why, but instead going to Vila Real, it was shipped to Vila Real de Santo Antonio (south of portugal)
i warned tradeinn about the problem with the delivery address since the tracking was available on Seur's site. twice. and twice they assured me it was goig to the right address.
as i said, the address was not found in Vila Real de Santo Antonio. then i asked to deliver in the same address of my other order, in Porto, and they told me it would be delivered in Porto instead.
in my last week in portugal tried 2 contacts with tradeinn that they just ignored.
i had just 2 days left in portugal and Seur called my aunt saying my order was still on the wrong address, south of Portugal.
last day in portugal tradeinn finaly replied my third e-mail and tell me it was going to be delivered later that day. Nothing.
i had to get to the airport very early the next day.. and i came back to Brazil (july, 12) without my order that was posted july, 01. because tradeinn did not believe my warning about the problem with the address.
now i'll have to ask the owner of the apartment i was, to send it to Brazil and god knows when will be delivered.

I've made 3 largeish (£200-£300) purchases from Snowinn over the past couple of years. The first and third arrived promptly and I've no complaint with those. The second purchase ended up with them sending me the wrong item, and by the time I'd found this out the original item I was after had sold out. Organising the return was slightly inconvenient (they originally wanted me to post it back at my expense!) but their customer service folk were reasonable and in due course sorted out a courier and my purchase was refunded in full.
So my experience hasn't been perfect, but they continue to have very cheap items that can be difficult to find elsewhere, and their returns system actually works. I'll be using them again.
Básicamente no volveré a comprar aquí , no veo normal que primero te pasen la factura por el banco y luego veas en el estado de tu pedido algo así como "no sabemos si podremos mandártelo, todo depende del proveedor". Pues sí no sabes sí me lo vas a poder mandar, no me lo cobres coño!!!!!
Ordered online but credit card company wasn't updated that I would have international activity so the charge was declined. Called credit card company to authorize charge and phoned the order in and was given a 5% discount for my troubles.
I bought a pair of Salomon ski boots. Got 41 % off and an additional 5 % discount with an online coupon. I ordered the boots to Finland via GLS parcel service. The shop indicated it would take four days to get the product to their storage. In reality it took a bit longer, around ten days. After the product was sent, it took GLS 8 working days to get the product to my local post office (the promised delivery time was six working days). In all, the whole purchase-to-delivery took around three weeks including weekends.
The store's web pages are good and offer a good way of tracking the status of your purchase all the way to delivery.
The product was shipped in a good condition in its original packaging protected by the shop's own cardboard box. The product was what I ordered and I was satisfied with my purchase.
I can recommend this shop for EU/EEA customers, but I would suggest paying the 10 euros extra and getting delivery via DHL Air instead of the cheaper GLS. This is not the cheapest online store for skiing equipment, but I think it's worth the extra money to get good service.
It was an easy to use website with a great range of ski clothes. I asked some questions with regard to the order and my query was answered quickly, which was fantastic. I expected the products to take awhile to arrive but they arrived fairly quickly. I would highly recommend.
I’ve been looking for a helmet which I can get my prescription glasses under, and have a cover as an alternative to wearing goggles….. this is perfect for that.

The order did take a while to arrive, though was well packaged and arrived safe and sound. I assume in part the time to arrive was due to coming from Spain. That wasn’t an issue in itself, though it would I’m sure add confidence for customers if that was much clearer on the site.
Good overall, certainly no complaints!
Todo salió mejor de lo esperado. Sin percances, sin imprevistos ni problemas, lo cual es mucho decir hoy en día... al contrario, teníamos prevista una entrega en 20 días y nos llegó en una semana! Genial

Great product (Eider), as described on website. Great price.
Only slight downside is that having bought from Snowinn before I was surprised when they wanted photographic identification before they would process my purchase . That said they provided the items I wanted at the best price .
All in all great service and will definitely buy from again.

I was looking for Dynafit TLT radical speed. Snowinn had the best price in Europe. Also the ordering and delivery was smooth and they kept me informed all the time about the estimated time of delivery. At the end it was faster than they estimated and DHL brought the product right into my door step and called me before. Excellent service all together. The only negative thing is that as soon as I made the order I started receiving tons of advertisement emails from them from all the categories.
THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME i ORDERED FROM SNOWINN, AND I AM VERY IMPRESSED. THE ONLY DRAW BACK WAS HAVING TO GET MY PASSPORT SCANNED AND SENT, AS I'M NOT CONPUTER LITERATURE. Hice el pedido de un artículo que figuraba "en stock". A los dos días me llegó un correo electrónico que tardarían 2 semanas en recibirlo. El plazo fue exacto y desde que les llegó tardaron 2 días en entregármelo.
El artículo en perfectas condiciones y tal cual lo pedí pero deberían controlar mejor sus existencias para informar bien a los clientes.
