A REAL person answered the phone AND knew how to help! Great service, Great product.
Picture the sceen.
I've never had a VOIP service or phone before.
I have little experience in setting up more than a mobile phone or home PC let alone anything more technical.
I have a small window of opportunity to get this system set up before leaving my staff for a business trip.
The answers all came together with SOHO66.
I had my phone call asking questions answered by a REAL person who knew how to help, therefore escaping the endless re-directing to different departments of other firms. The help was instructive, direct and what they said worked. I was not made to feel like an idiot or that my questions where stupid.
From the first telephone call everything was set up and working in about 45 minutes. YES 45 minutes.
No I don't get commission, this really is as good as it gets!

Great service
I just wanted to remark that Soho66 have been providing me with an exemplary product, service and fantastic support for over a year. In my experience I could only wish other suppliers would achieve their levels of service standards. Their invoicing is efficient, accurate and clear, their systems are effective, reliable and easy to use plus their support is effortless. There are very few companies I would recommend but have no hesitation with regard to Soho66. Prospective customer should not hesitate using Soho66 as I can't imagine another company being able to provide a better service so affordably. Thank you Soho66.

A trouble free service at a great price with many features
I needed a new telephone number that was as cheap as possible and I found Soho66.co.uk. They offered a number that I could remember easily at an incredibly low price per month.
Give them a go, you will not be disappointed.
Soho66 - It's cheap, it's simple. It works!!!
I started looking into VoIP for a phone service after my BT line was dug up by road workers and out of action for over two weeks. Soho66 came up on the google searches and the price seemed suspiciously low, but I figured that at such a price it was worth the risk. I went through the very simple step by step sign up process, chose a phone number from a seemingly unending list of possibilities, paid my £7 +vat (£2 line rental plus £5 credit) and that was it - DONE!!! I received very helpful emails explaining what to do. I didn't have any VoIP equipment at this time so I downloaded the Windows soft-phone app for which I was given a link that not only installed it but configured as well for my new number. With no experience of VoIP, I was up and running in well under 10 minutes. When the VoIP hardware I'd ordered on ebay arrived a few days later, the Soho66 website gave me all the info I needed to get it set up - well, almost. I did email support for some help, and the response was as near instant as I've ever experienced. It turned out the answer was on the website - I just hadn't looked properly but the tech support was both friendly and helpful.

A technophobe's delight! Was talked through the whole process in minutes.
I run a small bed and breakfast [just 3 rooms] and recently signed up with www.freetobook.com so I could accept on-line booking.
I didn't want to go down this road really: it seemed pretty complex and a lot of fuss. But it's a really simple idea! You rent a Fax number from Soho66, pay your £2.40 a month and Bob's your auntie.
It's far, far cheaper than using PayPal, especially if you already rent your own payment terminal. And, best of all, you have total control as to taking payments to suit both you and your customers.

This company gets it right
My first venture into VOIP - porting two numbers from BT to voice and fax. Chose Soho66 initially on basis of good reviews and decided to go with them after talking with exceptionally helpful customer service people. This team is highly knowledgeable, courteous, effective and reliable. The whole changeover process happened flawlessly and with almost no effort on my part; they even setup my IP phone remotely. When I (inevitably) failed to get my iPhone to work with the service, they sorted it out over the phone in a couple of minutes. Really impressed and happy to recommend to anyone .

Excellent faultless service at a fantastic price

very pleased with the service!
Very pleased with the service, i get voicemails delivered to my email 24/7, calls recorded can always go back to them if there is any disputes with customers, I can forward calls to any number i want if am away from the office, and with my VOIP phone can even take away with me if im on holiday, with a different extension and same number it feels like im in the same country. I recommend it to any business.

Solid but at times confusing
Overall, the concept is great and the execution sound. My only complaint was that the menus and options on the website were complicated and I was left unsure as to what exactly I had bought and how it would work. I am more confident now, but all I wanted was a number which would automatically forward calls to my mobile, and the process seemed to be set up primarily for VOIP.

Good to have a UK call centre, shame it doesn't open outside office hours
Everything works fine although the website can be a bit irritating as it does not return to where you were if you ask for more info on an item but takes you back to the home page and you have to start again with your search. Excellent to talk to someone in England which I had to do a few times and the on-line support which I have had to use because the office and help desk close at 5:30. When raising on on-line query in the evening the answer was there the following morning. I have found a cheaper supplier for my voip calls but they only provide email support so this has led me to pay slightly more for this service

I knew nothing about the mysteries of IP - but I found I didn't need to, as SOHO66 did it all for me and quickly. So in no time I was saving money, communicating easily and playing with all the facilities I get that landline never offered.

SOHO is definitely not So..So !
I had abandoned my limited use BT line several months ago and used my mobile extensively. I was criticised by several clients quite understandably for only having a mobile which cost some users excessive rates to call . The researched answer proved to be signing up for a LOCAL number line + fax with SOHO66 and I am making great cost savings and am perceived to be more "business-like". The line has all the features I need as a "one-man-band" (& many more unexplored) . The internet phone purchased from SOHO66 too may not have been entirely essential but it gives me the line without the computer being on with easy access to voicemail and to call transfer features. It also convinces me that I still have a PROPER phone. I even get an email (to my mobile) when I get a voicemail and could use any internet access to call on my line if I needed too.

This was a helpful, fast and efficient service at a good price.
I received a helpful and knowledgeable response to my enquiry about the phone best suited to my needs. I Googled the phone to check prices from a number of suppliers but found Soho66 to be very competitive.
My order was dealt with very quickly and the phone arrived well packed within 48 hours.

Good quality service
Since signing up to Soho66 I've been quite pleased with the quality of the calls on my smartphone. It will occasionally drop a couple of seconds, but its a major improvement over my previous voip provider.

Can't rate highly enough
I wonder why I did not engage with this before. Why I have been wasting money with the regular service suppliers? Why did I not know about this. Really easy to use, great facilities, amazing communications and pleased that I am on board. Why doesn't everyone use this system.

I ordered just an additional handset and they actually contacted me to check that that was all I needed just in case I had ordered it thinking it was a phone in itself.

The answer to my problems
BT could not get my broadband service working and my phone was not alway working due to line faults. I had Tooway satellite broadband installed which rectified my broadband problems, the supplying company suggested an VoIP service which I had never head of before. Install with no problems, good by BT.

The modern way to FAX
I work with a company that is not quite in the 21st Century, they don't use
Email etc. they send out communication by fax which I haven't used for years. So I went looking for a way to accommodate their ways and I found it with Soho66 and the great thing is that it comes through to my Phone as well as online.
Love it and it is so simple and inexpensive to use.

A VOIP A VOIP my Kingdom for a VOIP!!
What a game of soldiers that was - first i buy the phone line cheap as chips but then of course i needed a voip phone as you do - so googlie googlie and no better price could i find for the one that i wanted so another 40 odd sobs to that lot again and now we are talking - well almost - now i needed to cable the ethernet wotsit and yes you guessed it - i didn't have a spare slot on me router (ouch!!) so i had to buy a splitter box - more sobs - anyway it arrived and yes you guessed it - now i was short of a ruddy cable - even more sobs but lo and behold the cable came and i was all sorted - a ruddy dialing tone no less, mind you i still could not dial in or out that bit was still duff, anyway i got on the web help and there it was - find telephone menu and get my IP Address easy easy - only my phone did not have that menu option - oh laugh did we laugh - anyway straight onto soho and bingo - well eventually after a few calls bingo - just another few days in paradise mate

Great Service
Really happy with Soho66, the service has been great and easy people to work with.
Only issue has been the line cutting out very occassionally, but this isn't regular enough to tarnish the otherwise excellent product.
