Liam from Development team/ technician went above an beyond to programme an almost impossible SIP phone I brought off EBAY.
Liam was fantastic at wiring an old school ridiculous cheap voip phone I brought second hand from ebay. Their technical support managed to talk me through everything and as a sales guy I don't have a huge amount of time for computers so they showed phenomenal patience. Eventually they had to log on to my PC with my permission to see if they could programme a bespoke web interface directly linked to my phone.
Liam was fantastic, if you have any issues these guys will assist and go above and beyond what anyone else would like vonage. Real quality small business feel despite being a sizable well established business, any ideas why????
BECAUSE ALL THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT KNOW WHAT THEYRE TALKING ABOUT!!! Thats right ladies and gentlemen.
Definitely my first experience where every single "customer service" agent I spoke to was actually either a technician or in Liam's case a Developer. I can assure you you will not get that from anywhere else. this eliminates the annoying charade of putting customers with tech issues on the phone speaking with customer services staff who are stuck working on a rigid script with no indepth knowledge or personal experience.
The most I have had to wait to get through to a member of the team was 40 seconds and thats across at least 10 calls. don't believe me?? prank them now if you have to wait for longer then 40 seconds, we might be looking at the end of the world so it wont really matter then.
