Hi. Just received my first fax by email from Soho66 and it was absolutely painless. It is a brilliant system especially as I won't now need to worry about faxes arriving at my office when I am not there to check the machine.
Decided to give soho66 a try based to recommendation from a friend and I am so glad I did. Their service is great and for the low price you pay it's really hard to beat. Much better that others that cost many times more.
We're a small business and wanted a no-fuss easy to set up VOIP solution. We also needed to port our existing telephone number into our solution, as our number was particularly memorable.

We decided to use soho 66 for our landline number as we want flexibility and a cheap reliable service. Setting the service up was no more than a ten min process and the customer support is uk based. makes a world of difference
I needed a business phone number as I was using my home phone for business calls. I looked into Soho66 a while ago but finally decided to go for it, I'm glad I did. It works great I use it just for voice mail, after a prospect has phoned I get emailed a WAV of the message and phone them straight back. Works great for me.
Basically ive just set up a new business. Just needed a landline number for incoming calls. Soho 66 were not only my cheapest option but also my quickest option as it was all set up instantly. The 3cx soft phone already preconfigured with their technical details was a relief as I could start making and receiving calls straightaway.
So my initial experience has been great. Lets see how it develops as my business grows.
The service is a good one, and support team have been very helpful when needed. however, it seems the soho66 fax to email service only allows 2 email addresses for notifications. This is not very clear when setting up the account and has led to some people not being notified when there is no flag in the system to say maximum number of email addresses entered etc.
Can this be changed?
When I joined we had a 'physical' fax machine. I asked why we had two printers and one was simply there just to receive faxes. Found Soho66, a quick call and my mind was made up. They advised at every stage, or responded to any query. Very good service and working as it should.
Liam was fantastic at wiring an old school ridiculous cheap voip phone I brought second hand from ebay.
Their technical support managed to talk me through everything and as a sales guy I don't have a huge amount of time for computers so they showed phenomenal patience. Eventually they had to log on to my PC with my permission to see if they could programme a bespoke web interface directly linked to my phone.
Liam was fantastic, if you have any issues these guys will assist and go above and beyond what anyone else would like vonage. Real quality small business feel despite being a sizable well established business, any ideas why????

Definitely my first experience where every single "customer service" agent I spoke to was actually either a technician or in Liam's case a Developer. I can assure you you will not get that from anywhere else. this eliminates the annoying charade of putting customers with tech issues on the phone speaking with customer services staff who are stuck working on a rigid script with no indepth knowledge or personal experience.
The most I have had to wait to get through to a member of the team was 40 seconds and thats across at least 10 calls. don't believe me?? prank them now if you have to wait for longer then 40 seconds, we might be looking at the end of the world so it wont really matter then.
I only use their fax service currently, but it was a doddle to set up and was active within minutes. I receive faxes as email attachments within seconds (having tested it by sending myself a fax!).
I had used a similar service with a competitor for years, but Soho66 offers the same service at a quarter the price - what's not to like?!
I have only been using Soho66 for 3 weeks but so far it's working well. My only complaint is that I can't get voicemails to appear in my Softphone (Bria) and they'll only play in itunes.
Otherwise, i'm very pleased.
I was recommended to solo66 and I have to say that I cannot fault the delivery of efaxes. I liked being able to have a geographic phone number for my efax and could even choose a number all for a very sensible monthly fee.
I've tried a few companies recently to manage my business telecoms and none of them compare to soho66 for service, quality and control panel that I have received from soho66. Already have several numbers with them and its making life much easier to run my business. If you are reading this, don't hesitate this company is the best around.

Using Soho66 and a free android app (CSipSimple) I have a very memorable second phone line direct to my mobile. I can schedule when to direct calls to voicemail (e.g. evenings and weekends) and receive voicemails as audio file attachments by email. The options are limitless. Affordable, simple to set up and so far the service has been faultless. I highly recommend them.
We were referred to Soho66 and so glad we were. They helped resolve an issue of BT's making, were helpful from the outset with my ridiculous questions and did what they said they would do. With other suppliers this doesn't always happen sadly! We ordered our phones on the Wednesday and had them the next day too!
Best of all, we're already making massive savings on our telecoms.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Soho66.
Providing a great service along with awesome features is one thing but having the right people to support you throughout the way is something that I particularly look for when I seek to use services from a service provider. Soho66 ticks both boxes and has given us a peace of mind for the past 2.5 years since we started using them.
Excellent service, can't fault. It's excellent value, quick and easy to setup. Not sure how straightforward it would be for a novice but I have heard the support is good.
