Apologies you did not receive the item until 7 days later! Typically orders are received within 1-3 business days so not quite sure what happened here. Looking back through the system I can see that you placed your order on Wednesday 3rd July. We dispatched it on Thursday 4th July via first class royal mail.
Sadly, we have no control over the speed that Royal Mail move, as much as we would like to. But they typically deliver much quicker than this it has to be said.
With regards to what we charge for postage, we are a very new company (not even a year) so we don't have the volumes and margins that other larger retailers have to offer free postage on everything. We do offer free shipping on ALL orders over £40 in the UK, otherwise we charge £2.95. If we didn't - we would simply be out of business, or would have to charge you more for the items.
Hopefully you'll give us another try soon, next month we will be able to offer next day shipping as an extra service. Many thanks once again.
