I got what I wanted.

What started as a general enquiry turned into an informative and ultimately satisfying experience. I was thinking about Life Insurance and found it in one phone call. My contact was courteous without being abrasive and asked all the right questions. The policy was what I wanted with only one slight glitch in that I did not want increasing payments. This was corrected by one phone call to Ageas. Only one small criticism - my contact had the habit of saying 'bless you' at regular intervals which did become slightly irritating although it did make me feel righteous! However it could be construed as patronising.

Very friendly staff who explained things very clearly

Initial contact was after looking at various comparison companies on line.

Very helpfull man called who gave me all the information i required and was cool about waiting for a few days whilst i shopped around.

Once i was ready to go ahead he called back at a pre-arranged time and made me feel at ease whilst answering the health questions which were quite personnel.

It was then all up and running very quickly

We have taken a look at the details of your policy application. Your email address was given as the main point of contact for Protect Line to send information to. Your wife is named as customer A on the application and you are named as customer B. The e-mail that was subsequently sent would have been received by you (customer B) with customer A as the salutation.

On this occasion, your email was used as a the main point of contact and therefore, when the system triggered the email to the main policy holder by name, it was sent to the email address on file, which was yours. I can completely understand your confusion and apologise for any inconvenience caused. I do hope this helps to explain the situation. Should you wish to update the contact information and provide Protect Line with an alternative e-mail address for any future contact, we would be more than happy to assist.

Lovely staff but attention to detail very poor

Staff were really nice and helpful, but when the paper work arrived it had several issues, mainly spelling our names wrong, husband and wife with surname spelt differently, birthdays showing as the same etc. . .

was told would get a call about putting life insurance into trust, call never happened when it was supposed too. Once call did happen and papers sent out again a huge amount of admin errors, I was too embarrassed to ask the witnesses to sign them with all the errors so as yet it is not in trust!

All in all staff are lovely, informative and helpful. Overall experience was ok which is a shame given how hard staff work with customer service on the phone but we were very frustrated with the silly mistakes on the all important paper work!

Luckily, they proved to be amazing and were really informative about what I could have offering me more than I needed for less money than I thought I was going to have to pay. I got the paperwork through and there was no hassle. Just what you want when you're buying peace of mind rather than a product.

Seriously I was treated with respect and every step of the way was explained in easy terms that even a dim whit like me could understand. I would not of bought from from another company if buying life insurance ar all. They explained why I needed it and sold me only the cheapest option (noing I did not have a lot of money)

Great Advice and Great Price

The agent I spoke to really knew what he was talking about and fully understood what I wanted from my policy. Can not fault my experience with Protect Line.

Fairly painless, would recommend.

I wasn't really expecting to talk to anyone when I googled round for life insurance info, so initially I dithered a bit. However as they were friendly and helpful, I felt much better letting them search out not just the best deal but the best policy for my needs. I liked how they kept me informed constantly and were easy to reach. It was all fairly painless.

Custom fit insurance

Thought I was too old and too late to get reasonable insurance at the right price, hey presto there was a solution :-)

Better late than never!!!!

I've been thinking about life insurance for quite a while but hadn't got round to it until the other day when I thought 'It's now or never'. I phoned up Protect Line, I found them after looking up several companies on the net. I'm glad I chose them cos they spoke to me as if I had known them for years. They answered all my questions in a language that I could understand and they were so happy and full of life, I felt that I was more to them than just a number. They thoroughly explained everything that I needed to know, so much so that at the end of the phone call I was more than satisfied that I had done the right thing with the right people and I would very much recommend them to anyone, family, friends and strangers.

Trustworthy and delivered on all counts!

We had an extremely good consultant who was very professional and informed, helping us find the right cover necessary and at the right price. They also followed up and kept us informed during the whole process. Yes, I have to say I was impressed by their service I think you are safe in their hands!

Easy to talk too

I spoke to a very helpful person who listened to what I had to say and why I was looking for cover. He then made a number of suggestions as to where we might look, and from there he searched for me and came up with the plan I choose. I was then advised to speak to another colleague about something to help me with the cover to help my children. I could not rate ythis service high enough.

Very helpful, and explained all options with various companies.

A friendly service gave the best quotes and if I had any questions regarding my policy a direct line to my agent which is better than having to listen to a recording requesting that I press various numbers before I speak to anyone.

Very focussed advice

The advisor was happy to explain things to me as many times over as I would ask.He was very patient.There were some things especially terminology which I understood for the first time. Good experience ,for once I felt like talking to someone who was onto side-although he probably was not !!!

funny how it makes you do things ?
The resent death of my dad was bad enough for us all , but for mum it was worse, to see what shes going throgh with the cost for it all is deverstating , lucky thay had the money to lay dad to rest ,
But that made us think that in our late 40s we have nothing like the money to lay each other to rest x
So done a few calls ended up with protectline who were very helpful and listern to what we wanted , thank you protectline xx
