I attended a four-day course on Agile project management; the four days trapped inside a training room were made so much more enjoyable thanks to the amazing skill of our trainer, Simon Blizzard. He made the course a great experience and I went away learning an awful lot about Agile and project management in general.
My company used The Knowledge Academy in New York and we found them highly recommendable. The PMP certification was intense and a lot of hard work at times, but this was made much simpler by the trainer; Mike. Mike ensured everyone understood each section before moving on to the next. He also used a good combination of lecture style methods, class discussions and power-point presentations.
The Knowledge Academy provided refreshments throughout each day to keep our brains on top form. I thought this was a nice extra.
The training center was easy to find as we were each provided with directions on how to get there. It was also central to nearby food places which made eating lunch a lot easier/ quicker.
The customer service The Knowledge Academy provided was worth 5 stars alone. The sales person; Mary was knowledgeable on PMP and provided a great deal of communication via phone calls and emails. She gave me a date on which the training would begin, and this date did not change. She ensured I was prepared for the training course and ready to gain my certification.
Overall, I would recommend The Knowledge Academy for their PMP certification and all other training.
After taking my training course with The Knowledge Academy I received my pass mark almost immediately. The level of customer service I received was brilliant. My account manager was lovely and knowledgeable on the subject before I signed up. I would recommend The Knowledge Academy's training methods to anyone who is interested in project management.
I gained my PMP certification with The Knowledge Academy in their Atlanta training venue. The trainer was professional and taught in a way that was easy to understand. I have worked in project management for many years so, it was great to be taught by someone who had a lot of experience in the field.
The course materials that we were provided with were high quality and very comprehensive.
I passed my PMP exam on my first attempt and haven't looked back. This was definitely a 5 star experience. Thankyou
The trainer; Sue was lovely to work with a great teacher - I wish I had teachers like her at school. She was clearly dedicated to the methodology and TKA.
The customer service I received was as expected; really good. My account manager was knowledgeable on the course as well which helped when I had concerns and queries prior to booking myself onto the Agile training course.
The training venue was in Manchester; City View House and was easy to find and comfortable to work in.
I took the ITIL training course with TKA in London around 3 weeks ago and had an enjoyable experience with them. The trainer was passionate, enthusiastic and knowledgeable on IT service management which made learning from him really simple. There were parts of the course which I was a little confused about but Simon; The trainer would stay behind with me in the evening to go over things which was a great help.
I found The Knowledge Academy were really passionate about their courses and couldn't do enough to help you. I would like to thank them for the amazing training course and my pass mark.
Just finished my Prince2 course in Singapore with TKA.
The training has been amazing and the instructor was so passionate about the course it was a pleasure to see. Learning Prince2 can be a little difficult but our trainer went through everything in small stages in order for us all to understand each new concept. An overall brilliant experience, one I would repeat if given the chance.
I originally decided to train with The Knowledge Academy because my friend recommended them to me. I am glad I went with her advise. The training course was excellent and well run. The trainer couldn't do enough for you and was happy to repeat himself over and over until we understood it. He created lots of class discussions and group work which really helped with understanding certain concepts.
The entire training course was professional as was the customer service. I really can't fault The Knowledge Academy and would definitely use them again for any further training I require.
I took the ITIL certification with The Knowledge Academy 3 weeks ago.
The training took place in Melbourne, Australia and the venue was great to work in. The staff were really friendly, as was the trainer. Mike (trainer) was very experienced in IT service management and taught the course extremely well... Continuously stopping to ensure everyone was upto speed with him.
I took my PRINCE2 certification with The Knowledge Academy in Sydney. The training centre was beautiful and a lovely place to learn in. It was also near to all the local stores in Sydney which was useful for lunchtime.
Refreshments were provided throughout the day which was a nice touch.
The trainer was extremely professional and well organised. There was a good mix between Powerpoint presentations and class discussions which helped learning. I would most definitely recommend The Knowledge Academy to anyone who wanted to learn PRINCE2.
I attended a Scrum training course last month with 2 other colleagues and want to provide feedback. Your marketing for this course states "Courses delivered by world class Scrum Master Certification instructors" we found him very inexperienced and actually admitted to never having been a Scrum Master. He offered little real life experiences, he merely read from the powerpoint stack. We have been lucky enough to be working in a Scrum environment so had some knowledge and could fill in the pieces but others struggled. The 2 day course was 1 1/2 at best and we got the feeling that the instructor just wanted to finish early and get home. The final disappointment to was when we had to ring up to ask where our certificates were, these promptly arrived via email but were very amateurish in design the likes a 3 grade student would produce. Compounding this was to hear that the course did not make us eligible for the professional accreditation to the Scrum Alliance. 2 colleagues who previously attended the course also didn't receive their certificates also asked this question and his comment was "we have been Hustled". For a supposed nationally recognised training company to dupe candidates like this is disgraceful. I for one will not be using this company again and will express my views to those who ask my opinion.
I took the Prince2 training course in their London training centre and had a great 5 days.
Don't get me wrong, learning Prince2 is hard work and does mean having homework every night. But the trainer was brilliant and explained everything clearly whilst also providing an enthusiasm which made learning the subject fun.
I would highly recommend The Knowledge Academy for Prince2.
I have been booked for the course and they have canceled the course twice once with notice the other time i went to the location to find that nothing is happening after i contacted them they informed me that it had been cancelled .I then requested that they cancel my booking and refund my money , i got the reply" not a problem we are sorry and will authorize the refund" this was two weeks ago after numerous emails, speaking to different team leaders and managers all i get is " its with our accounts and they don't talk to customers" this is insane and disgusting all i require is a letter from then stating that my bank can refund the money back into my account but this seems to be too difficult for them top comprehend !!!!!!!!!!!
I took Prince2 and loved it. It was a great week full of learning and lots of fun!
I received great customer service from my account manager and lots of communication via emails etc with any information I needed about the course. I was also impressed with how much their sales team knew about the course - no questions fazed them. It was good to use a company who actually understands their own courses.
The course itself was great, I did it in their London training centre which was clean, tidy and nice to work in. We were also provided with refreshments throughout the day which was a nice add-on.
