Sales staff left me to wander round (although he did establish my budget early on and identified vehicles that may meet my needs). Once I'd narrowed down my options he worked out the relevant figures (part-exchange value, monthly repayments etc) and was also very good at telling em the associated road tax and insurance details of each car. Collections staff extremely good - helpful and, considering the amount of paperwork to go through, swift with their service. In order to speed up the process, I was given the relevant paperwork to tax the car so could get that done while I waited and, by the time I got back, I was next to be dealt with. The handover was painless and I was away quickly in my shiny newer car. Any criticisms? I feel the chap who dealt with the sales contract etc could have been a bit clearer on the total cost of the vehicle and the cost of the extended warranties should be clearer - he spent far too long working out figures - surely the warranties should be a fixed charge and, if they're not, you should be looking for a provider who can provide warranties like this. I will recommend you to others Thank you Trade Centre Wales - we wish we could have met 'Trevor'!
First off you're not going to walk out of here in an hour, the finance department spent that long trying to sell me extra insurance. The staff are nice enough but a lot of what they say doesn't really stack up for example I asked to take the car for a test drive and he said we'll sort out paperwork first, fair enough I said. I say to finance guy "I haven't test driven it yet" oh yeah your just signing this to allow the finance company to run a check on you ... fair enough. After what seemed like an hour of trying to sell me stuff.... "pop your card in there we're going to take £100 deposit ... i gave up with test drive at this point and just paid. Basically they don't let you drive the car until you've bought it. You do get 28 days to return it but I live about 80 miles away!!. Luckily enough the car is lush so I'm not really complaining. If you've got poor credit you'll likely get a 20% loan for a car, I managed to get hp at 6%. Something else that I found a bit annoying, they say for example the car will be £42 per week at the start point, you can expect that to go up by at least £3 by the time you go through all the departments. I'm happy about the car but they could be a bit more honest about the prices and what's going to be added.
Mike was so helpful when it come to the car I was going to purches. (Bmw 116) All staff were friendly and interacted with my daughter Sale was straight forward and I was not pressurised into anything. All cars come with a new mot and a full valet I even had half a tank of diesel !! Will recommend to friends and family.
I was given excellent price for part exchange the salesman andy doe took time and patience with me to find the right car for me terry the business manager was very personable and guided me well through the paperwork the can can finance team were very quick and friendly. They also offer a very good warranty service. I will recomend to anyone and ill definately go back to them in the future for a car.
Well i must say i have nothing but praise for the attention i got when looking for a 7 seater for my business as a child minder, the sales man did show me a few but in the end let me look around on my own and come to my own decision, I was made to feel so welcome and important and every thing was explained to me in great detail
Customer service on selecting car was great sales person great help, poor service on picking up car following day waited 40mins in cold waiting room we were not told by 3 members of staff we had to go to office they said just sit there and wait, the man that finalised paper work wasnt happy we wernt given the correct procedure but he didnt do anything about it.
The team at Trade Centre Wales (Merthyr Tydfil) were polite, friendly and very helpful. I had a great deal on my new car and it is everything I asked them for. I hope to have many years driving it. If I had to buy another car or recommend somewhere to a friend I would have no hesitation in returning to TCW.
When I boosted trade centre wales it was my first time, you walk through the doors and your greeted by 10 of the guys, all friendly of course. The gentleman that was assisting me was very helpful and got me a fabulous deal, I was glad to take my car at the end of it all as it was a long day.
The sales man Wayne was brilliant . Made me fell welcome and very helpfull . Never bought a car of trade center wales before but will be going back in the future . And would recommend it to family and friends .
I was impressed that the salesmen did not follow me around or try and pressurise me into a sale, I was a little disappointed that they wanted to confirm a price before they allowed a test drive of the car, but the salesmen were really professional and polite, Nicky is the person that dealt with me, he could answer any of the questions that I had, I bought the car on the Friday, but it needed a new MOT so arranged to pick it up on Sun, I also recommended the trade centre wales to a relative and we re-visited on Sat, on both of the additional visits Nicky approached us and made conversation, which made us feel like he was genuinely interested in us and not just reaching sales targets. Overall very impressed with Nicky and would recommend anyone who does visit the Merthyr branch to ask for his help.
