I was very surprised by the choice of vehicles, The staff were polite and friendly and very efficient and knowledgeable. i got a good price for my part exchange and for my new car. the car was ready when they said it would be. It was an easy experience - thank you
My experience of Trade Centre wales totally outdone the what I thought I would receive, I found all the staff totally professional, My salesman Dave was exceptional and put me at ease from the beginning and helpful beyond all expectations, The whole staff and system you had in place was first class, I cannot thank you enough and I will/have passed the information on to colleagues and friends. Thank you again TCW
sales man was great, not too pushy. picked our car which sales man said he would get some minor dents/scrapes sorted if we were to purchase. few hiccups when collecting as work had not been done on the car but was promptly done by the following day and collected.
The salesman advised that the car was fitted with cruise control, however on collection of the vehicle it was found this was not the case. On contacting Trade Centre Wales, this is unresolved and there appears to be no effort from them to try to resolve. Also brake warning light came on within 24 hours, parking sensors not working and blue efficiency mode not engaging. Returned car to customer service and it is booked in for repair now, however workshop supervisor appeared alarmed that the car had been released without changing brake discs and pads. Still awaiting response from trade centre wales on misled information.
Went to trade centre wales after a call to set up fiance first.very easy to set and had a call back from fiance within 4hrs.very good service. Had an appointment at 4pm approached by sale's man very helpful and friendly took details down of the type of car needed and spec, went off and within 10mins had 7 cars to show me. After me being very much a pain the sales man found me the car I loved.only one down side the finance person you see to work out figure's very unfriendly and not a pleasant experience. Apart from that fab service. Had a few problems with car fixed within two weeks. Would recommend Thanks all staff st tge Trade Centre Wales.
Took my car to customer care with few problems I had informed them about with in 3 days or so of purchase. Crack in windscreen =repaired Window wiper banging body =to be fixed Noise from front wheels =no problems with the latter I informed customer care that I wasnt happy with their decision and would be seeking second opinion I took it to auto stop he test drove it reported same problems I had .he checked tyres and tracking and told me the tracking is toeing and the tyres are stepped causing a slapping effect (noise). I am not happy with customer care feeling they just wanted me gone . I want this matter resolved quickly as it is upsetting the drive in my new car and causing further damage the longer its left this way. When we got to the Trade Centre we were welcomed and then left alone to wander around the site. the salesman who greeted us us wandered ovrer to to check we were ok there was no attempt to pressure us when we found a car we wanted to see he got the keys unlocked the car gave us some details then left us. When we found the car we wanted to buy he came over went through everything with us and in just over the hour the car had a new mot a valet and we were on our way home. I would recommend anyone to visit the Trade Centre Wales in Neath it was a pleasant experince and we would like to thank Darren for his help
I visited tradecentre wales in neath , picked my car up on the 11.3.2014 . I do like my car , however a couple problems have occured only a few days later , my vehicle as been back and examinded , but on way back same fault again , I have emailed aftersales but no reply I can only say that the staff there are very helpful , but having said that I also hope they can sort the problem out with my car .
Went looking for a new car as we have a baby in the way. The sales team were great no pushing you into anything. Paul our sales guy even aggred to get the body shop to repair 2 slight marks on the car. The finance team were great even got me a a much better interest rate than expected. Got the car 2 days later thank you TCW.
Went to the centre, was greeted by Craig who was a great help, left me to browse after a long drive then when requesting keys to view inside the cars he was quick in finding the keys which was a plus. Upon choosing a car I placed a deposit of £50 (subject to parental approval) travelled back home happy with the car. Had a phone call the day after, saying that the car which I had chose had already had a finance deal pending on it. So I returned to the centre again the same day as this phone call chose a different car which was the second choice to the original car. Dealt with a chap called Darren who was equally great. Great experience, will definitely use again.
went to get a new car from trade centre wales in neath, over the weekend, found the car i wanted, waited around for a about a hour to complete paper work, only to be told i could not take the car that day as they had not got the log book for the car,and also no m.o.t! having travelled over a hour and hlf to neath i was not happy, but was assured the car would be all set for me to pick up on the monday. on arrivel on the monday i was then told they still had not recevied the log book, and was asked could i go back agian on the tuesday! this was not a option as my old car would have no tax on it by tuesday,i asked could they deliver the car to my address and was told this would be ok. i also asked if i could pick another car instead, once again i was told this was ok to do also, so after being shown a couple more cars i finally choose the one i wanted, but it was more expensive then the first car i had chosen, but thanks to my lovely sales man on the day i had a very good discount on the car and also a cheque to re tax the new car in june for 6 mths. not only this as it was my birthday on the day, when i went to collect it they had put birthday banners across the windscreen. so all i can say is excellent customer service to resolve the problem .i will be using trade centre wales again ! and as for the birthday banner! massive well done trade centre wales neath!
There are some bargains to be had at Trade Centre Wales, but be careful, not everything is as it seems.
I purchased a 58 plate Vauxhall Corsa for £4.2K, which I’m hoping (touch wood) will actually turn out to have been good value for money. Although I had to go through quite a pantomime to do the deal. It was marked up for a ridiculous £5.5K, a cool grand over the book price for a mint condition example, which - given the mileage – this wasn’t. When I walked away however, the pounds began tumbling off the asking price until we eventually arrived at a realistic figure.
I knew what I wanted and how much I was prepared to pay for it, but how many people A, wouldn’t have questioned the windscreen price, or B, would have felt pressured into buying by the salesman’s milk of human kindness bit? He made out like he was sticking out his neck to magic-away over a grand, just because he liked us!
Although I should add that we were given a very competitive part-ex price. I know that’s already factored into their sums, but when you think of the time and hassle of selling privately, their offer made the deal make sense for me.
Having been given the best mate red carpet treatment while we were negotiating, there was a noticeable crunch of gears in their attitude towards us once we’d signed on the dotted line. The car wasn’t ready on the day we asked for it, and only part of an agreed respray had been carried out. In fairness they didn’t quibble about completing the paint job, but their attitude to me having lost a day’s work because it wasn’t done on time was a shrug of the shoulders at best. They even told me that I could have my deposit back and forget all about it if I felt like that. I demanded £150 for the work I’d lost, they offered a cup of coffee…we settled on a tank of diesel!
They’re very keen to push the RAC extended warranty, and are clearly receiving some form of commission on it. On the face of it it seems decent value at £700 for three years parts and labour cover, but a quick Google search reveals that actually trying to get RAC to pay-out on a breakdown is like nailing jelly to a wall! Their most frequent ruse is a buried condition that the car has six-monthly services; without which the warranty is immediately invalid. A, how many people read the small print? And B, when you factor in the cost of a service every six months, the warranty suddenly doesn’t seem that good value after all.
They say each vehicle has a 99 point mechanical and electrical check before it’s sold. Maybe I’m just old and cynical, but doesn’t 99 points just seem a tad too much of an advertising slogan to be credible? In fairness, a week in and I’ve not noticed too much wrong with the car, but there is a slight issue with a sticking throttle which makes me just a tiny bit nervous about the veracity of the other 98 checks they claim to have carried out!
In summary Trade Centre Wales is good value if you’re experienced at buying and selling second hand cars. They have an excellent range, and because there’s such a high turnover there they have a fair bit of leeway to cut a deal if you’re a good negotiator. But they’re sharp operators, so if you’re a trusting little old lady looking for a run-around to take you to church of a Sunday, then it might be a case of all that glitters isn’t necessarily gold!
Arrived at Trade Centre Wales Neath Showroom to be welcomed by Dean. He was great ... I didn't really know which car I wanted but I did have a few boxes to tick and Dean helped me do that. He was very informative and answered all the questions I had .... very patient too ! Inside there was a great selection of cars with even more to choose from outside. Poor Dean didn't even try to hurry us even though it couldn't have rained any harder. We saw the car we wanted then Dean got the ball rolling in sorting things out and very soon we were on the way home in our new car. As I said .... Friendly .... Fabulous .... Fast Thanks Trade Centre Wales
I went up to choose a car that was fine and was about the only thing that went well,I was asked to sit down with the"finance manager" we went through all the paperwork and I was asked do I want to take the car today my reply was that I had driven up there so I couldn't, anyway he carried on what I thought was finalising the paperwork but he couldn't print a part of it so I was told that if I can insure the car I can pick it up on Friday and that he would put tax on it for me, happydays so I booked Friday of work so did my neighbour so he can take me up there, I still hadn't heard anything by 12:00 pm so I rang collections to my horror I was told that the finance hasn't been agreed even though I had a contract of sales with 2 signatures on it and was asked 3 days before am I taking the car plus it's just cost me £450 to insure the car a week later I eventually picked the car up with no tax on it mind and I had to work hard to get the car the only thing I've ever had to fight to buy :-( So much for easy to apply 60 second decision it overall took 2 weeks 3 trips up to neath from Newport and 1 big headache
