From all courier services I know the TNT is the worst, in all aspects begining from speed of delivery ending with the customer service... I regret, do regret that I chose TNT express as a carrier, initially I was attracted by its relatively lower price for delivery around the world and of its speed (which was described to be 2-4 business days) but it has turned out to be very challenging and nerve-wasting process in my life so far as it is still in the process!!!
Oh, the whole staff of TNT seem to be such irresponsible, incompetant, apathetic, indelicate and clumsy persons, as they still can't provide me with any reasonable excuse for endless delays of my parcel!!! It just stuck somewhere in Liege and the status of the delivery constantly circles between *shipment is received*, *shipment is held*, *shipment is delayed* and so on...
I ordered Tablet from USA, it was mailed out in 28th of October from warehouse, tnt express rate was choosen in the purpose of faster delivery, estimated delivey day was arranged for 6 of november, however, it is still in delivery yet, none can explain me why the hell it is held in Liege so far, what for? Don't that dummies in TNT understand that it is a just Tablet, and not drug or gun!? Local TNT office in my city also can't supply me with any logical clue for such delays.
I'm in fury, and now in a state of hatred for deception and lame actions from TNT's side, Tablet was a gift for my only brother, and his birthday already passed in 11 of November, for which now TNT has earned party-breaker status.
People, don't choose TNT, if u care for your own mental health and nerves, u must select DHL, FedEX or whatever decent over TNT, yes they are a bit expensive, but u clearly understand that mental health and your nerves cost higher than everything...
Below u can see evidence for my words(
note: it is still on delivery...

TNT Man came round to the wrong house to collect my package. I had to yell out to him to come round. If I had not come out my house to investigate, he would have left and there would have been no pick up for that day. He gave jokes about the weirdo on the door step on my street so all was quickly forgiven. :D
He took the package from me and he signed the necessaries and I too. I tracked the package from then on. Everything signed for and it was a smooth transaction for all.
I’m now a bit wary about going with them again given the amount of bad reviews here. I’ve had this before; “Dunno wut ya all on abut, man! Nah, dey dun a gr8 service for me” and boom it turns out to be shit like everyone’s been saying about them. Yeah, that YODEL experience.
I forgave the TNT man for coming to the wrong house. That don’t mean I’d forget it.
From now on I will ask all my suppliers if they intend to use TNT for delivery. If they say yes I will not place the order. I need four deliveries for every project that I install. If one of these is late or mis-delivered then the project is delayed. TNT are to blame for every single project delay for the last two years. Every other delivery company manages to deliver correctly and on time except TNT. A one star service only because there is no facility for awarding less than one star.
I had a car stero to be returned to the factory in Hong Kong. The supplier arranged the shipment. They phone me up and ask me have you got a commercial invoice. I said no. They then told me to fill out their template form, which asked various things like VAT no etc. I dont have these things so i told them this and they told me fill it out with what you have.
Did that and next day get a phone call from 'goods held department' saying a customs code is missing. I said i dont know what to write in that ask the person who arranged to booking to supply the paperwork. They went to do that while in the mean time returned my package.
2 days later they call again saying we have been told to come and collect a package. I asked again do you have all the paper work, they said yes. Came to collect but the next day they phoned saying customs code is missing. They then told me to phone HMRC (which they gave me the wrong number for and had to google the correct one) to get the code.
I eventually complained and spoke to the 'team leader' who then gave me the code!
So basically wasted my time, the suppliers time and their own for something that they already had.
My new rule is not to order online off anyone that uses TNT (of course tell them as well that i would of ordered had it not been for TNT)
48 hours from demark to Leicester then 4 days sat in depot and go and get it yourself
the 28 miles was to far for there poor drivers will not use TNT for anything they

(care to comment Lisa)
We had a very important single page document to be delivered to our son in the Middle East. TNT promised to deliver it within two working days for which they charged us over £38. However it took over a week to be delivered by when it was too late. There was no explanation or feedback despite several follow up phone calls and emails and no offer to reimburse at least part of the fee charged. It would probably have been delivered more quickly using Royal Mail and at less than 10% of the cost. We will not be using this company again.
If you need someone to collect and deliver an item use TNT, their tracking system is easy to follow, their telephone system is answered immediately, the dispatcher knew his job, the delivery man was courteous and extremely helpful, I would not hesitate in recommending them to you, your family, or your business .
My delivery was for Friday 18th, Which did not happen, I phoned on the monday, and told that no one was at home. I stayed in all day, if they had no reply why was there no card? he should have left one was the reply, only if he had actualy came and found no one home, I replied.
Arrange re-delivery for that friday the 25th, when it had not came by 3pm I called, informed that my delivery had been returned to sender. I was furious, and the girl appologised and phoned to check if it was down at ther depot, it was so she said that she would do a special delivery for tomorrow Saturday 26th.
Guess what, I got 1 of the 3 items, Driver said, the other Driver had left this behind so he delivered it, and that the rest of my delivery should no be far behind as the other driver should be close to us.
I phoned again to see where it was, and was informed that the rest of my items had not arrived at the Paisley depot, and they don't know where they are.
Bunch of Liars . SHAME ON YOU TNT..........
Yesterday I was waiting for a delivery but at 1pm I used the track n trace and was write that I was not at home, ( that's ridiculous because I was waiting for the driver because I knew that my parcel was out for delivery). I called the depot and they told me that it was not possible that the driver skipped the delivery( in this case I was a lier) but in any case they organise me the delivery for the day after.
30 min ago, I called again the depot to ask if the driver diced today to deliver my parcel, but the man told me that he organise the delivery on Monday because the driver won't come today ( nobody knows why, but he told me again that it's not possible that the driver skipped the delivery let me understand again that I was a lier because their drivers are serious and professional and I also told that if I want my parcel today I can go to collect to the depot.
THAT'S RIDICULUS, THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL, LAZY AND LYER, WHAT A SHAME.
Didn't turn up initially, the driver lied and said he had left a "sorry you were out" card. Organised the delivery for the next day, didn't turn up... eventually did turn up the next day but only once both myself and the person who sent the item rang up the depot and got the manager to speak to the driver.
Can't believe how much I had to complain to actually get TNT to do what they're paid to do - deliver a parcel!
Will definitely never use to send parcels and will think twice before ordering an item from anyone who uses TNT. There are plenty of other courier companies who are much more interested in their customers and doing a good job.
I purchase everything online and having few hobby's to do with crafting I require a lot of parts and materials. Never ever had a problem with any other companies apart from TNT. 5 Times they delivered the item packaging always looks like its been used as a football. Last item was broken so bad it was a mosaic of pieces in the box it was well packaged so I did not feel anything broken inside and TNT (on purpose) wrapped the box in ton on black clingfilm so I would not be able to see any damage done to the box. Over the phone TNT told me its my fault as I should not have signed for it if it was damaged.
It is fine, if they are happy to receive a negative feedback to save £20 for the item they have smashed and make me delay their drivers for half an hour from now on every time TNT delivers something to me so that I can slowly open and check the content for damage before signing. That's fine by me. But it just looks like a terrible business moto. Trade of bad rep and having drivers delayed for the sake of £20.
Customer service reps replay was " well, SIR, that's your opinion...."
Just terrible. I thought TNT were supposed to be good. Don't deliver on time, don't redeliver.
I paid £36 for Saturday delivery for a small package. It did not arrive, so I called the supplier, who enquired of TNT and told me that they would phone me to explain. Nobody called, so I phoned them. I was left on hold for ages then told that the package would be delivered the next day (Tuesday). I was given no explanation for the delay and when I asked about refund/compensation, I was told that "Saturday delivery is not a guaranteed service, bad luck".
They then advised that I could not even complain, as it was the supplier who had contracted them. I have contacted the supplier who confirmed that they had a high proportion of complaints about TNT and they would try and get a refund, but not to get my hopes up!
I will never use these clowns by choice, they have abysmal service and they don't give a damn about their customers.
HAD MY PURCHASE SINCE THE 29TH AUGUST and its aparantly next day delivery. i been off work everyday waiting for this then i get told phone at 6 if its not there today to be basically ignored been on hold for a total of 40mins and counting. then i look at the tracker to see time constraint prevented deliver what a joke had it for almost a week and they say time contraint prevented delivery. aye and i was born lastnight obv they employ lazy drivers. i give these twits a minus 500 if i could
Unfortunetly I have got TNT to deliver my parcels so many times. Each time got a "missed you" card even when I told them (many phonecalls) that NOT to deliver in the morning as no one is gonna be at home then. They delivered my things in the morning, next day AGAIN....and again....and again so on... Every time they deliver something, I miss it. When I order something and I see that TNT will deliver it, I start shaking and thinking: What the F*ck is going to happen now? No suprise. They miss me.
As far as courier companies go, TNT must be the absolute worst. Admittedly the first mistake was not their doing, they had been given my invoice address not the required delivery address, now this should be simple enough to rectify (thinks I) a simple phone call to correct the address, well the phone call was simple, but here I am 4 days later and still no sign of my parcel. For the past 3 days TNT have simply decided not to bother delivering my parcel, simply changing the delivery date each day without any communication or request from me for the date to be changed. Further phone calls to TNT simply are a waste of time, no reason or excuse is given and certainly no solution is forthcoming. I would go and collect, but my "local" depot is 75 miles away!!
I am wondering if I will ever see my parcel or maybe someone at TNT has taken a shine to it and simply decided to keep it for themselves in the hope I will forget about it.
*** WORST COURIER EVER ***
The driver failed to follow delivery instructions (printed on address label) on first attempt.
Stated they would deliver another day but failed to even put the package on the van, despite them stating that it was on the way.
Couldn't deliver the next day as all the drivers left the depot without this package.
Failed to deliver the next day as the driver simply didn't turn up.
Finally delivered on the fifth attempt but only allowed a driver for a large, heavy package which was completely inadequate as it was clearly a 2 person lift or required a pallet truck.
When I complained over the phone I was told that the depot manager would call me to explain what had happenned and I'm still waiting over ten days later.
A Letter of complaint was sent and apparently this company are allowed to miss deliveries, make numerous mistakes and give extremely poor levels of service because it's written into their T&Cs. Unbelievable.
In short if you want your package to arrive choose someone else!

Always very difficult to be too wide ranging about a delivery company but I have to commend the delivery company TNT who were polite, efficient, helpful, and even waited when it took me an extra 3-4 minutes to get back to bring the delivery in, absolutely above and beyond in that case and very much appreciated by me!
delivery service through TNT was awful, no co-ordination, poor customer relations and a waste of time. To cut a long story short...3 days they attempted deliver, first of all they said their lorry couldnt get up to our house, yet that morning we'd had a crane delivering goods, and we were not informed of any attempt to deliver, the following day, they put the goods on to a truck without the facilities (so they said) to take it off the van(they said they needed a palet lifter), and when we informed them we wouldnt mind having the palet split they said they were not allowed to, they then put on their system that delivery was not able to be made due to time delays which was pure bo***x. the following day they were unable to give us a ETA, even though we were promised one the night before, they said "around lunchtime" after my wife called them back for the 3rd time(as theyd not called back as promised). The delivery driver was then seen eating his lunch (no problem with that as they obviously need breaks but after waiting for him to deliver an hour and 15 mins after seeing him parked up is taking the p**s a little!..the wife then drove up to the van and asked him to deliver the goods, he then had to split the palet and physically hand the goods to me, not a palet lifter in sight, yet we were informed we were unable to do that the day before. The one woman my wife spoke to was obnoxious and very unhelpful. Definitley not reccommend anyone using TNT!!
I have had the worse experience of my life with TNT ( consignment 296 469 535). I sadly decided you to use their services via Transglobal London to send two boxes of all my personal items (all of things very close to my heart) to India on 5th February 2013. There was a typo on my Invoice (it should have been £90 instead of £900) and I had requested them to reassess my invoice and try to get them to accept the new Invoices for my things. I was informed that they had already paid the customs at India for Rs28000 on my goods and given that I am unemployed at the moment I had been requesting them to try to be a little flexible and try to show that they really care. For them it was just another consignment but they did not realise the emotional importance of the things for me. I literally was on the phone with them for three weeks and pleaded them to help me out and later my retired father also got involved. I was transferred from one person to another from UK, US, HUNGARY AND INDIA. I have the names of all the TNT representatives I spoke with and email correspondence of me literally begging them to help me. The entire process was emotionally taxing for me and physically for my father who is retired.
I am unemployed and never disagreed to pay the hefty charges. All I was asking them to be a LITTLE HUMAN and NOT CAPITALISTIC. We spoke with the TNT UK office on 8th March again if they could help us out a little and try to adjust some of the charges against the freight charges of £192 I already paid for these boxes.
Today morning I called them again to receive heart breaking news. I called them to ask if they could really reconsider and to follow up with the UK TNT office - I have been informed that they have DISCARDED MY BOXES WITHOUT INFORMING ME. I received NO mail from their team at TNT and Transglobal giving me a deadline. From the very start, I spoke with TNT UK and India office and at every point I heard a different story. At all times TNT only cared about the money and more money. They do not care about their customer. How could they discard the things which hold close to me? I want them back and now they are not even willing to help me. THEY NEED TO GIVE MY THINGS BACK TO ME. How dare they discard and distribute my things without my consent. I will definitely take this further and get to the bottom of this issue.
I missed a delivery from these guys on a week day, when I rang to ask when they would re-deliver they explained that, as it was a google play item, it had to be delivered on a week day between 9 and 6. As soon as I said that I would have to call back to confirm a day once i'd booked a day off from work they instantly called through to the depot to see if an exception could be made and the package delivered on a Saturday. This was arranged in under 1 minute but a really friendly women called Natalie. The package then arrived as promised the following Saturday.
No complaints at all.
This is the second time I've been unfortunate enough to be on the receiving end of a TNT delivered parcel, and both times have been equally as disappointing. Each time they claim a they tried to deliver and I was not home - funny as I'd taken time of work to wait for them - foolish I now know. Calling the customer helpline is of no use whatsoever; yes they are very kind and borderline helpful in that they can tell you your order will (yet again) be sent out the next day, but I'm afraid that's no good when the driver doesn't bother to show then claims you weren't home. If you're lucky enough to actually receive your parcel, chances are it'll be in a sorry state - everything I've had from them I've returned to sender, probably due to being loaded & unloaded multiple times from the mystery delivery van(s) that operate through Edinburgh City Centre.
Save yourself the hassle and don't bother - unless you want to wait 5+ days for a damaged parcel to appear.
I understand that people have had bad experiences with TNT, but I had an issue with google play. The parcel had not been picked up and no info was forthcoming. I rang TNT's national number and was put through to an English call centre. The assistant checked the situation and phoned straight back. They appeared fully informed. I have no complaints about TNT as their resolution of the problem was prompt and courteous. Being put straight through to a uk call centre is a luxury these days! Google play on the other hand are something else; about to review them too!
Sent two items the same day, one to South Africa and one to Tahiti, one was 3 weeks delayed because it sat at customs in the UK apparently requiring a tarrif code which was not asked for and no-one let us know it was there waiting. Arrived with all contents obliterated. The other package to Tahiti arrived on time, but also smashed. On contacting was told no chance for recovery of the cost of the damaged items, never mind the shipping costs - tough.
You can literately call this the same day delivery service, but for it to be delivered within 4 hours of it being dispatched just amazes me.
No problems at all, i'm over the moon with TNT.
Used parcel2go and TNT.
Item delivered and the outer casing (Heavy plastic down pipe) was crushed at one end.
The contents were also damaged at the end crushed..
Parcel2go might as well try and communicate with the moon.
Parcel 2go attitude shoddy and completely lacking in any contact communication.
TNT real pass the buck merchants. Promised a token refund but alas all it is is token promises from what is supposed to be a fairly reputable company.
