I waited many months for Hot Toys 2014 release of their Amazing Spider-man 1/6th scale figure to add to a growing collection. Knowing we would be out during the day my wife annotated in the collection details that it was to be left with the neighbours (house numbers as well). Three times in the same week they failed to deliver because we were not in.....kind of missing the point ref leaving it with a F____g neighbour!!! The outer packaging also looked like it had been used as a ball during an international rugby game.
Having brought a stove online, TNT were supposed to deliver the item. I was told it could be any time from 8am until 6pm!! I had to book the day off work which was annoying enough to have to use up a whole precious days holiday just to wait in for a parcel. I waited in patiently and at 4.45, I called the supplier just in case there was a problem..Good job I did, They tracked the parcel and said that TNT had said my road was inaccessible and taken the stove back to their warehouse!! - its a busy through road with cars up and down all day long so that was a complete lie, then after the supplier got on the phone to them they said they had put the stove on a van without tail lift so now cant deliver until the next day. I couldn't believe it,. TNT didn't have the courtesy to call me and had me waiting in all day for nothing and then they decided they would just deliver at some point the next day - Like its no big deal for me to have to book another day off. Anyway the supplier complained and in the end they agreed to deliver by 6pm. It got to 6.30pm and so I called TNT - after eventually getting through, the operator said she would put me through to her colleague but then just transferred me back to the main queue where you have to retype consignment number and choose which option and wait again and explain the whole thing yet again. 25 mins in total I was on the phone trying to sort it all out. They again said they couldn't deliver but after much complaining they finally agreed to get it to me and acted like they were doing me a favour. It was 8pm when they turned up, one man struggling with the heavy stove expecting my husband to give him a hand. Then told us how it wasn't his fault and what a tough job he has and how he gets the brunt of all the complaints!!!, as if we need to hear all of that. This is the 2nd time I've had a terrible service from TNT and I would never deal with them to send any parcel of mine after the 1st time, I hope the supplier of the stove changes to a reliable company. Also looking at all the negative reviews and TNT's replies to each one, can they not just take action to improve their whole service instead of just asking each person to contact them with details so they can "investigate"!! what a joke
I sent a spinet from Florence to Antwerp. This was a very expensive shipment, with full insurance, but on arrival the spinet was cracked and broken in several places. The crate had been dropped from from some height. After waiting a month our insurance claim was rejected on the grounds that my customer had accepted the delivery! In other words, my customer should have made the delivery man wait an hour or so while he took it up to his flat, carefully unpacked it and inspected all the parts? This is clearly not reasonable, and the grounds for rejecting the insurance claim are spurious. TNT should be responsible for the damage they caused, otherwise what use is insurance?
We ordered a child's VW bed from a small independent company. We had a delivery date and stayed in until 4pm. Unfortunately the delivery came later. No attempt to knock on the neighbours door as the vast majority of delivery people do ( don't they do that in Poland or Latvia? ) it simply went back to the depot which is 40 miles away. Why do businesses try and save pennies using these cowboys when Parcel Force has depots all over the place? Mine is 0.5km away !! They said it would come next day delivery. It did not. They tried the day after. We were at work. So we emailed them and got a reply that the item would be delivered on the Friday. We both stayed in all day. At 5.30pm we phoned the depot and were informed they had sent it back to the manufacturer. We phoned the manufacturer with all the details and they attempted to stop the parcel being returned. It was too late. The company said they would send it back when they attempted to return it. We are still waiting. This bed is individually made and we want to use it next week. I just wish we could sue. Unfortunately the manufacturer could not change the carrier..despite us offering any amount of money to deliver through Parcel Force.
Without exception, the TNT Pickup drivers in Westbury/New Cassel New York are the rudest I have ever met. Three companies share one pickup door. My company does not use TNT but I am often closest to the door and when I open it I always say "hello". They look right through you as if you weren't there, and say absolutely nothing. Half the time they are talking on their cell phones, leaving their vans running with the bass vibrating this part of the building.
UPS, FedEx, and DHL drivers are always courteous, every time. Carrier of choice is my discretion, and I would never even consider using TNT. Drivers are the face of your company and I guess they don't care as long as their paychecks keep coming.
If I could select zero, I would, I had a ceramic sink delivered to my house which was the wrong spec, I was advised to send it back via parcel2go, upon placing the order I didn't select the extra insurance cover as I was confident of a safe journey from TNT, how wrong could I be, first off I used exactly the same packaging as what was received originally, superb packaging etc, what was returned to my door was something like it had been driven over, I wish I could add the picture on here, TNT and parcel2go have only offered me the price of the courier, absolutely awful, should TNT have any concience my order was P2G18085054, however as per my previous experience I think I have more luck chasing rainbows
You poor, poor customer services team, surely there's only so much stress a person can take, looking at the reviews you must dread mondays
I had a faulty radiator, I contacted the manufacture and received a replacement via TNT within 3 days Arrangements were made for the faulty item to be collected and returned. The collection was supposed to take place this morning At 15.00 I phoned TNT customer service to find out how much longer they would be. Their response was 'we couldn't make it this morning so the collection was cancelled' No phone call nor contact till I phoned them. First class customer service? I think not and I am not sure even if they understand the meaning of service, since my phone was virtually dismissed as a nuisance.
On Friday the 7th, I waved goodbye from my door to a crate of my property bound for delivery in Nottingham on the following day. A crate of goods off to a client whom wanted to use them in a photoshoot. You see, I built the small business I have from pennies to what it is now. I eat most days. Not every day. That crate was an accumulation of bespoke goods that I had made by hand that are not replaceable or rebuildable, such is the nature of my work. Along with them were costumes and accessories. They were wrapped in cellophane (and I have testimony from a witness whom helped pack, wrap and send off the order), taped up with your shipping tag and sent on their adventure. I hope they're having a better time with you than I am because on Saturday I got a call from my client (whom arranged your service via Parcels2Go), who told me a box with a single hat in it, and a lot of torn cellophane arrived. I appreciate random checks occur, but I assume your employees then re-package items. Now begins the merry-go-round of you blaming P2G and P2G blaming you, and the whole time my livelihood folds because you couldn't do what your job is. In your position I would be personally going through every depot and truck to find my client's goods - whether they were a millionaire or someone that just wants to do their own job.
In anticipation of your replies already outlined here, you will find I have already e-mailed this to firstname.lastname@example.org, as specified, with appropriate details of the package.
In the mean time, should I check with eBay for my goods?
They have lost 3 parcels of mine in 6 months. Got 1 stuck in customs in china and ask me to fill in customs release in Chinese as they had no one to fill in forms. Lost A5 envelope package but kept sending photos of large parts up to 2m long and asking is this your parcel but I had to keep telling then "it was an A5 envelope" does this look like a f___ing A5 envelope! Booked parcel on Friday for delivery on Saturday. Tnt never picked up as apparently the driver had left the area. No one told me. At 6pm had to travel 14 miles to drop parcel off. Made sure they were aware it had to go for saturday (not the re booked Monday for Tuesday) But it never got there! What a waist of my time. This meant £700 a day Lorrie was off the road for 2 more days. 7AM Monday spent 50 min on hold waiting for TNT with no answer. Whats the bet there call center don't open till 8am. We have renamed TNT "TITS AND TWATS!
Absolutely gutted that I did not find this review site before I chose TNT as a courier. They think they are too big to be bothered with their customers and don't really care if they deliver or not. If you want only 90% of your products to delivered to your customers then by all means fall for the cheaper rate, as for us, we have work to do now to re-instate our good reputation and try to recuperate some of our lost profits.
i never reviewed before but i am fed up of being walked over by big companies ! TNT were supposed to deliver my next day parcel on wednesday this week - it didn't arrive so i rang and was told that there was a driver problem, they promised to deliver on thursday. Thursday evening i rang to see why there was still no delivery, apparently the driver had an accident and i was told it would be delivered on friday. i was not overly confident that the package would arrive so opted to collect it from the depot on friday morning. so there i was this morning, at the depot, no package available, why ? TNT have sent it out for delivery. At this point i decided to complain, this was clearly a mistake on my part, TNT tell me i can't make a complaint because i'm not their customer ...... really ? no the sender of the package is the customer not the recipient. The thing is i wouldn't mind if this was a book from an online company but it is not, TNT's failure to deliver this package has caused the £300,000 sale of my house to fall through.
Cheers TNT, I promise i am committed to ensuring that you go bankrupt through lack of customers.
PS if TNT want to contact me you can find me from my consignment number ( if you can get your computer to work ! ) 28815031
What is remarkable with TNT is that they consistently provide appalling service level. Packages get lost, drivers get the post codes mixed up. Even had packages going to the wrong countries, unbelievable.
I took time off work to wait in for packages to arrive - a delivery from a rival company arrives fine. Wait until for second package, sitting in my house and checking the road for delivery drivers and don't see or hear anything.
I track the package to see there is an issue - apparently the driver has tried a completely different address and wrong colour door. Extremely annoyed as I wasn't contacted at all during this and they had my contact number. The package was worth over £1k and its cost me a days worth of earnings and my spare time to sit in and wait all day!
I rang up to ask about redelivery and was told I'd have to wait for another working day - yes of course they want me to take another day off of work to wait around for them. Very annoyed. Will not deal with them again.
2 days I stayed in for delivery only for the web site to update at 6pm stating that due to time constraints my items couldn't be delivered. The one day I couldn't be there I missed the delivery. After complaining, I was then promised a delivery the next day (a Saturday). This never happened either. A second complaint and I was then promised an am delivery on the monday. This delivery actually arrived. The driver went to hand me my parcel which had been clearly badly wrecked in transit. I advised I was not willing to sign for it and he had the cheek to advise "it was in perfect shape when I tried to deliver it last week". i.e. Admitting TNT had wrecked my parcel. Appalling service and now I have to wait for my goods TNT wrecked to be returned to the provider. These guys are meant to be a courier company???
After much consideration i decided that TNT where a trustworthy company to send a rocking chair with. At the price of £174.00 for delivery it was by no means cheap. I spent a considerable time wrapping the chair with industrial bubble wrap then with 4mm corrugated cardboard and then with shrink wrap to say the lest i thought if it was dropped of a roof no damage would be done. Then i employed TNT........ The delivery man collected it on Thursday for delivery on Friday. The next day delivery was a success. The package arrived and when my receiver opened it, it was like a jigsaw!! One leg was broke in two. The arms where all disassemble and snapped of at the joint and the whole frame looked like it had been kicked up and down the delivery hall. I was in complete shock!! I really thought this was a good company, but please learn from my experience sender. I would NEVER recommend this company again, the care they take with your good is worthless to them. I have wrote to the email@example.com and still there has been no follow up on my letter . Samuel Patterson
As a company we have been customers with TNT for a while now and on average ship about two packages a week with them. This may not sound a lot, but we are loyal customers who use TNT for all of our shipments and our money is as good as anyone elses.
The customer service we get from our driver is rude. On many occasions he is late or doesn't turn up to pick our package up because he has "already left the area". Some of these shipments are promised to be with our customer the next day, and half the time they don't receive them! Common courtesy from TNT would be to ring us up and tell us that the driver has left the area instead of leaving it until I have to ring them up. When i do ring up customer services, they tell me that the driver has already left the area and that in order for my parcel to be delivered i have to go out of MY way to drop it off at the nearest depot...which may i add is a good 25 miles out of my way.
Every time I ring up and say that im not happy with the service iv received i get promised a "phone call" from one of their "sales people" to talk through our problems. This has been promised to me at least 3 times this year already and I am yet to receive any phone call from anyone.
When i spoke to one of the customer advisors the other day, she informed me that our TNT driver now leaves our area at 11am every day so unfortunately our parcels cannot go with him as they are not usually ready till 2pm. She did not feel the need to ring up and tell us this, i had to find this out for myself.
TNT is meant to be a fast and easy way to ship...and so far it couldnt be anymore hassling if it tried!
They are a reputable company, with a lot of positive attributes i'm sure...however at the moment iv received nothing but awful service from them. The customer most definitely does not come first!
Please sort this out TNT as a company we are now looking for other options as to how we should ship our packages.
DO NOT USE TNT FOR YOUR BUSINESS!!!! I WOULD RATHER WALK 300 MILES AND DELIVER THE PARCEL THAN LET TNT DELIVER ANYTHING OF MINE AGAIN!!!!! We have been trading for over 18 years selling parts for printing presses so our customers need there orders asap when their presses break down! We have used many other courier company's in the past and decided to give TNT a try over the past couple of months after a TNT salesman came to see us telling us what a great company they are and how they could save our business money and time!!!! We've had to stop using TNT now due to our customers requesting we do not use them! The amount of parcels that TNT have lost or are delayed is staggering (on average more than 80%) Last week (22.1.14) we sent 4 parcels to customers in USA using the (Express Priority Service) they were due to be delivered on the (24.1.14) as things stand only one has been delivered! We sent 3 to other places around the world last week and all 3 were either delayed or lost for a few days! (One cleared customs and up to this day has been sat in a TNT depot for 5 days!!! Other problems range from TNT missing the connections or the parcels are being held in customs because TNT have not giving the correct paperwork to US Customs (i.e lost them). We have not had 1 week where a parcel has not gone missing or has been delayed! Even TNTS UK domestic service is terrible the amount of times we have had to duplicate orders and send them again is staggering (or have to drive in person to deliver them to the customer) the only solution we get from TNT is a refund for the price it cost to send the parcel but the damage has been done and we lose the order and possibly future ones because the customer returns the item for a refund and goes to a competitor! And you cant claim losses back from TNT when a customer returns an item because it didnt arrive on time. (Even with TNTs enhanced liability cover) "we are not responsible for delayed deliverys" is the frequent garbage i get from them! Ive tried making complaints, That many times ive lost count, to customer service (they dont care and pass it on to somebody else or lie to you) our account manager (he doesnt answer his phone or call you back), the depot losing our parcels (they dont answer the phone) even head office wont deal with you over the phone only by email and those emails they don't respond to ive sent 3 or 4 complaints by email and never had a response!!! Over our 18 years of trading i have never dealt with a company like TNT! If you want the reputation of your business to go downhill, enjoy annoying your customers or want them to start buying from your competitors then use TNT they wont disappoint you. Thankfully we can go back to one of our previous couriers Fedex who have served our business well for many years and they have never lost a parcel or missed a delivery date! TNT are slightly cheaper than Fedex but you wont have a business left if you use TNT! There complaints process is shocking probably the worst i have ever come across. The reviews and ratings from others on here says everything you need to know about TNT and the copy and pasted response from the same member of TNT staff speaks for itself, Lisa must be very very busy no wonder its taking her 2 days to respond to irate customers!!! I HONESTLY WOULDN'T USE TNT IF IT WAS A FREE COURIER SERVICE. I am now back to using FEDEX everything is arriving on time and most importantly my customers are happy with the service whilst TNT are still trying to locate my lost or delayed parcels.
I cannot trace my parcel, says does not recognise reference or consignment number or email even though they emailed me to confirm order and again to ask how they did!!! I tried to telephone but incorrect number, booked express but collected next day in afternoon on a friday, monday came a phone call parcel still at depot as needed better description of goods although i put exact description on declaration recipient still waiting. Would not use again or recommend to anyone!!!! Still in the dark as to when parcel wil be delivered!!!
