We had a short but pleasant stay.
Our room was very satisfactory, clean and a good size. The receptionist was friendly and polite. Breakfast was adequate. Our stay was for only one night but we would return for a special occasion.

Fawlty Towers in Bucks
Following our stay at The Ciltern Hotel and Restaurant, Princes Risborough, Bucks, we were left with very mixed feelings. Upon arrival we were told that our room was not available as the previous guest hadn't left. We were shown to another room, but before our bags hit the ground we were whisked out again as that room wasn't available either. We were then offered our original room where we found the previous guest's bag awaiting collection, his toiletries in the uncleaned bathroom and later, his PJs in the bed. We were reluctant to open the wardrobe in case the guest was hiding inside! The manager bustled about in a way reminiscent of Basil himself, rectifying everything as quickly as he could. We then had no key to the room and had to be escourted to and from our room until the key was returned by the previous guest. As this didn't occur until after we'd retired for the night, the manager had to put a note on our door asking the guest not to enter. I took the additional step of placing a chair under the door handle too! One final warning if you do decide to stay: when leaving your room, hide any newspapers that you are reading, as the housekeeper has a tendency to remove them from the room. Despite all of the above: great food, lovely staff, and although I don't think a free drink was sufficient recompense, we needed it!

Not quite what we were expecting
A very nice place everything you would expect in a B&B Just the website did'nt make it clear to me, that there was a price for room only and it was extra for breakfast, Also it should be made clear that the final payment is cash only
This caused a minor problem for us other than that everything else was high standard

the plumes redruth
i would not say dont stay there but be aware it is basic, room above the pub so ALL noise can be heard unntil pub closes, also had to ask for bathroom to be cleaned which was done promptly, friendly people ,stayed 4 nights and no other cleaning whatsoever was done. Redruth the town is a bit drab but is a good central spot to stay if you want to explore gorgeous cornwall.

Excellent site, easy to use
We were planning a few days away in Northumbria and had no idea where we wanted to stay but top rooms was so easy to use and informative, and the accommodation we booked was excellent. Will definitely use again.

Everything you need, a great B&B!
Great location, spotlessly clean, lovely room, fantastic service e.g. Fresh milk in the room not cheap cartons, chocolate and bottled spring water, offered tea/coffe on arrival brought to our room with home made cake. Great breakfast, i highly recommend this B&B, and I'll definitely go back. Great meal at the Bistro in the village as well.

ok, could tell herons was managed operation
the booking system failed as my original booking had to be transfered to another location. Thia was efficiently done but different atmosphere and missed the personal touch of a owner occupier

Great Place

We wish we were still there!
Rosewood ,excellent breakfast with ample fresh fruits as well,room spotlessly clean,and comfortable,lots of tea coffee and a selection of other goodies in the room,no need to ask for more.
Friendly helpful hosts,short walk to cliff top for walks and views.

Questionable deal
Onich Hotel had no knowledge of deal from Toprooms website so had to pay full price at hotel. Asked for explanation from Toprooms, but no reply to my email of 20th Aug. 2012. So not very happy experience.

Don't take a chance...book here straight away
Off road parking which is a huge bonus. Easy check-in with information provided on the front door keycode, then shown to our room (which was a spotlessly clean, spacious double room with a sea view). Breakfast was a delight. Our lovely waitress hastily checked the veggie breakfast option for me, and it arrived piping hot - simply delightful! It's a little way out of town, but that is what we like about it! There is a tram stop adjacent and regular buses. We will just jump a taxi next time as we misjudged the distance walking back from the Pleasure Beach ! Oh and we are returning in October :D Don't take a chance on others - this little gem covers everything you need. I spent hours reviewing other properties - I have now saved you the time!

Easy booking, great room
Booked Red Lion at Betchworth for one night before flying from Gatwick. Room was in a seperate block overlooking a cricket field, very comfortable, very very quiet and breakfast was provided in the room in the form of cereal and fruit etc which was helpful as we had an early start. Price was about right. Food in pub very good and service excellent. Would definately use this country pub again when flying from Gatwick.

Fairly good interface with good room choices
I liked the way that rooms were displayed to choose between. Easy to book but payment options were confusing. Initially I could pay a deposit or the full amount but at the final checkout only the deposit option was available when I wanted to pay in full. This turned out to be unfortunateas the hotel charged a credit card supplement so I needed to pay by debit cards when I hadn't budgeted for it.
Also, Topcashback was not tracked properly for the transaction which is probably the fault of Toprooms and so far no cashback has been obtained

Super last minute value!
I had to get a hotel in London at short notice after the venue of a concert was changed last minute. Of all the sites I looked at, Toprooms had the best deals and good availability for London hotels, and also had a helpful 'side bar' showing hotels confirmed to have rooms available. The hotel I ended up booking through them was great, no complaints!

Value for money
During my 3 night stay at The Wainhouse I found the staff very obliging and enjoyed their meals. My single accomodation although small in dimensions proved to be entirely adequate. A place that I will visit again as it is also ideally situated for many tourist attractions.

Cheap and cheerful
Rooms clean. Staff friendly. Noisy at weekends but not unbearable. A little outdated but nothing to cry about.

Toprooms by name - Toprooms by nature.
Booking was as easy as ABC.
I am by nature not an online addict for anything as I prefer to try before I buy. But as we needed a break at short notice I had to try online. I am so pleased that I did as there were no problrems whatsoever and the product - Minton Lodge Hotel lived up to our exppectations.

Easy to use, and worry free
I recently booked accommodation through Toprooms, and found it simple, easy to use, and worry free. Simple peocedure for find what you are looking for, and simply booking procedure. Excellent rooms & service
Brilliant room & service, everything 5* high standard including decor, little extra touches such as bottled water, high end toiletries, tea, coffee & chocolate bars. Nothing too much trouble, made dinner reservations at the Station Restaurant. Nice location within walking distance of two nice village pubs. Recommended.

Fab place to stay!!!!
Enjoyed a wonderful night at sunnyside b&b on our way up to the west coast of scotland. Hosts Frank and Lorraine were very welcoming. Rooms were perfect and very clean. Breakfast was also excellent. Would definately recommend it to others.
