if I could rate zero stars I would!! I purchased a day bed which came damaged, after emailing photos I was told I would have to send back the item myself and pay for the delivery back to them myself. After speaking with the manager, who was cocky and rude may I add. I was still told I was liable for the return. I found that he was using bullying tactics and trying to belittle my every word. I'm not stupid and I know my rights as a consumer. Clearly he doesn't know his role as manager and the Acts that the company trade under. My advice to anyone reading this is DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! you are liable to be ripped off, treated like you are in the wrong and ignored. 3 months later they have finally collected the bed, but not without a visit to the CAB and trading standards, multiple letters and a lot of hassle later. A lot learnt from this experience!! If anyone is having problems with this company go and get advice before you agree to anything with this company.
I bought a storm electric scooter from this so called company for my sons Christmas 2012, scooter arrived within time stated but thats where any kind of customer service ended.
The scooter lasted about 5 mins before going flat and refusing to run, finally after 11 emails and several, what in my opinion, were blatant lies about the Technical dept trying to contact me, I finally got to speak to the Technical dept. They asked what the problem was then said they would send a new throttle assembly to remedy it and I would receive it before Christmas 2013.....it never arrived!!! I complained to Amazon and miraculously Toyzworld emailed to say I was to send the scooter back and they would check it out themselves. I had to find packaging for the scooter and pay for the return courier myself....its still ongoing. Please avoid this company at all costs
I ordered my son an electric scooter for Christmas and it turned up looking like a child had made it. I emailed and they didn't reply, I called and they didn't reply! Finally got a reply and I have to pay for it to be returned??!!! It's disgusting!! They don't care about customers and there products are cheap! I asked for a refund and my postage back! Will buy elsewhere!! Never again!!
We ordered an electric scooter for our 10 yr old son, of which he had saved up for himself and was excited to get it. We had paid for, and were promised, next day delivery. It never arrived the next day (a Fri). So again we phoned customer services and the lady tried to make excuses, however, the order hadn't been placed correctly. So my son now has to wait a whole weekend for his scooter. Very disappointed and not even a refund for postage and packaging was offers as a good will gesture!!
I ordered two Storm stunt scooters, at a great price, for my kids for Christmas and they arrived within one working day as promised. What particularly impressed me though was that, when I assembled the scooters on Christmas Day, there was a problem with one of them - two of the three bolts in the bracket attaching the bar to the deck stripped their threads. I emailed Toyz World and outlined the problem, fearing i would have to return the whole scooter at my own expense, as outlined in their returns policy. However, within 24 hours I had received a new bracket (which worked perfectly). I was seriously impressed by their service and their kindness.
I ordered 2 items ,late,on different days and my wife accident withdrew the payment and despite all this the items were delivered before xmas and the boys loved them ,so helpful by email and phone ,well done
After doing a lot of research on the Internet for a electric car for my little girl for xmas I came across toyz world and was glad I did , from the moment I placed my order the customer service was first class any queries I had were dealt with straight away and nothing was to much trouble I never ever write reviews but on this occasion I felt the need to as service like this is a rarity well done toyz world
I brought this item via the ebay store and then phoned to pay by credit card. The service was friendly but professional. The item arrived the next day and the delivery company that Toyz World used even e-mailed me to give me a one hour time slot for delivery. The postage was even free!!. The item has kept my three children entertained all weekend, something unheard of!!!! Would definitely use this company again for such fast efficient service.
We bought the 22ft storm slide and when the box came we thought, oh my word, this will be rubbish! However, we were very wrong! We put it up the same night and were really, really impressed by the size and strength of it! Very pleased, so thanks!
I ordered a Miss Kitty toddler bed for my little girl and I must say I am very pleased with the product. My girl loves the bed as well and it appears to be solidly built. The assembling instructions were simple and easy to follow and it took less that 30min to fully assembly the bed. The only reason I have not given Toyz World five stars is that they do not give a morning or afternoon slot for the delivery, meaning I had to wait all day for a delivery which eventually arrived at 5pm. If you could improve on that, you will have an excellent from me.
I purchased the bed for my son as it was cheaper than on ebay. Ordering it was very straightforward - and I as have never heard of Toyz World, was wary about using them however Trustpilot is a brilliant idea and gave me the opportunity to check the company was genuine and reliable. The bed was delivered the next day. I have no complaints about Toyz World however I have had no contact with them or any problems with the bed so there fore I haven't any experience - but my little boy loves the bed. The mattress seems a bit cheap but obviously that is down to the manufacturer not the retailer.
