This arrived quickly and had it installed in probably 30 mins max. Fitted to my samsung smart tv with built in freesat tuner so only needed single cable. With sky you would need twin cable. the sattelite finder worked a treat. Only gripe really was no coach bolts (although washers and plugs included) and no black cable ties. But this did not take 2 mins to sort out just got m6 x 50 A2D coach bolts from screwfix and hey presto....BOOM as they say...

I contacted the firm for advice and received an Email from them that solved my query and I purchased the goods from them. I have no complaint but would like to make suggestions that would further improve their service.

1. The instructions that I received - A DIY installation guide for a Freesat Satellite Dish- referred to a diagram in Step 3 of the alignment procedure. There was no diagram.

2. Also it would be helpful if the instructions included a diagram of how to construct the dish from the various pieces.

I repeat again that I am very pleased with the service and particularly with the contact form the technical bod.

Exceeded my expectations.

I hesitated to purchase this as it did not say it had an electronic programme guide. However, once I got this up and running it does have a programme guide which is very comprehensive. It was very easy to set up and the kit has everything you need.

Tradeworks provided very efficient service with the product coming very prompty. I had a query on the product and telephoned them. They were very good at answering all my questions.

I would not hesitate in ordering products from this company again.

I've used them for a good while (since i found them) and never been let down once weather delivery or calling in. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful, everything i need in one place. Local too.

Efficient service , shame about the packaging !!

My order was for a tv satellite dish kit ,the ordering of which was straight forward enough. We received a prompt order confirmation and a day or so later an advisory E-mail from the delivery company that our goods were en-route. Sure enough a couple of days later we took delivery ...oh what grotty packing ! The kit was packed in a very thin second hand cardboard box ,held together , literally , by brown sticky tape. A part of the kit had punctured its way through the box and was visible from the outside. The contents within were rattling around without any padding. I was so concerned that i took photos of the box and phoned Tradeworks ,who were very helpful and said that any damaged goods would be replaced. I have not installed the kit yet so am hopeful that all parts are ok. Good service but ,come on ,lets have some decent packing!!

Ooops. Not received it yet.

Well, so far tomorrow will be a week. I will wait to see.

Not only are the prices the best of any I've found but also the dispatch and delivery were so fast I didn't get round to tracking the parcel. Much quicker than the listed delivery estimate.

Honest, reliable and fast

I am in the middle of doing up an 80s house, and installing a load of new tv points, plus hd TV in the bathroom - mirroring thats being shown on the bedroom tv.

After finding an hd distribution kit they were selling on eBay, I rang up to discuss what I wanted to do.

Not only did I get a the information and advice I wanted, but I got no less than two very detailed emails and a 15 minute chat on the phone. At no point did they try to be pushy salespeople and upsell to more expensive kit. So instead I trawled their website to see how much more I could buy!

Ordered a Freesat recorder, parcel arrived, they'd sent wrong one! Phoned up, they apologised and said they'd send courier to collect wrong one and send the right one once they'd received the wrong one back. It did get sorted fairly quickly, but it would be nice if they checked stuff before packing it for despatch!

Tradeworks worked for me!

Cannot thank the guys at Tradeworks enough. Being blonde,welsh, female and over 50 doesn't bode well but after speaking to Tom and Matt at Tradeworks I had EVERYTHING I needed to set up my Freesat box. I had forgotten to ask for "the silver bits to go on the end of the wire" but the guys must have read my mind as when I opened the parcel (which arrived the NEXT day) I was delighted to find they had sent them for me anyway. 5 stars is nowhere near enough for this company as far as I am concerned. I wish I could award them 10. Thank you Tradeworks. Will definitely use them again when needed.

Fair price, prompt delivery

Ordered a LNB. Never heard of the company before but the price was lower than other big names and reviews of the company were good. Felt safe and ordered. Postal charge was very reasonable .Delivery time was as stated and they included a couple of F connectors.

Liked that they did not try and sell a signal amplifier in my initial order saying 'try without' and only order later if proved essential. Order arrived quickly and quality is great. Excellent service and price

Great price and excellent service. One items was not dispatched correctly and I call them. They resend the item by next day delivery without any fuss. Bought a satellite dish with equipments and accessories and cost nearly 2/3 of the price elsewhere.

DIY Satellite dish

The kit was delivered promptly, it contained everything I needed. However finding the right satellite for Freesat wasn't the easy especially as Astra 28.5E could not be found. Eventually I selected quite a lot of satellites from the list offered after the first attempted just found German channels. The Auto tune on my Samsung Smart TV did find over 1000 channels even when only requesting free channels. The subsequent Freesat tune in fact worked very well though I still don't know which satellites from the list it actually used.

The dish itself looks good and I would recommend it if you are technically inclined though for the less knowledgeable user there is a definite learning curve with plenty of trial and error.

Web site shows stock that does not exist.

I ordered several products, after a few working days I still had no delivery details/date, two phone calls later, an aerial that was shown in stock on the web site was apparently actually out of stock.
I got the feeling if I hadn't phoned twice I'd still be waiting for my delivery. I opted for a cheaper alternative aerial to save waiting longer, no refund of the balance was offered.
When received, the products were all OK.
Update
Subsequently Tradeworks have refunded the difference.

Competitive prices and a good website with lots of choice/information. I easily found what I was looking for, compared it with other suppliers but Tradeworks was best on price including delivery. Items arrived 2 days later as promised and worked without issue.

Ordered a Sky plus upgrade kit with 15M of cable. Only received 14M of cable so I had to join a bit on! Also upgrade kit did not come with instructions!

First choice for service, quality and quick delivery

I was trying to buy this product for my dad's christmas present but had left it quite late to order. Not a problem with Tradeworks! I placed my order late on Sunday night and as I live in Northern Ireland, I was worried that I might not receive it on time. Delivery was quoted at 2-5 days and true to their word, my parcel arrived on Thursday morning. I would definitely recommend Tradeworks and will certainly use them again. First class all round :)

I Got it All

I wanted to go Freesat to cut down on monthy outgoings.
After visiting several other web sitesI visited the Tradeworkstv site and after reading other peoples rave reviews I decided that these people know what they are doing and this is the place to buy from.
I was looking for for value for money and got it.
I was loking for alI I needed in one package and got it.
I was looking for easy to follow fitting instructions and got them.
I was looking to be up and running ASAP and got that also, less than 90 minutes.

I ordered a camping satellite dish and tripod. They weren't kidding when they said the tripod was sturdy! Very good value kit and shipped quickly. The 60cm dish is quite large to carry in a not too big motorhome. I might order the 45cm one and use the big one on the house, even though the reception might not be so widespread with the smaller.
