Fast and cheaper transfers from Spain to USA

So far I have transfered money 3 times. Ranging from 1000 to 3500 EUR. They get to there destination in the US in less than 3 working days. The rate is the best I have seen online and it is so easy to use. HAPPY

Big savings

I live in London and have loans in France. I therefore need to transfer money on a monthly basis back to France. I was using HSBC to transfer money till I discovered Transferwise. I was hugely surprised to see that I could save about 50EUR for each transfer from Uk to France compared to HSBC transfers. And this is all very easy, especially with their new direct debit function.

I recently transferred money on a tuesday morning from my UK account and it was in my Spanish account the same afternoon, impressive!!

The international transfer game-changer

I used to transfer money through the traditional way of banks and it was insultingly expensive. Transferwise has reinvented international transfers thanks to the Internet and P2P. The exchange rate is updated and accurate and their commissions are very fair. Also, the whole experience is very easy, fast, you can control everything and they keep you updated on the status of the transfer at all times.

They are also incredibly fast even with large sums of money, in my case even more than traditional bank transfers I used to do.

Can't recommend them enough! Very happy with their service.

I've been using TransferWise for 3 months now and I can only wish I had found out about it earlier. It's quick (sometimes even faster than walking to your bank), reliable, and saves you an amazing amount of money. There's definitely no better way to make international transfers.

Fast efficient no hassle service

Having recently found out about Transferwise, I decided to use the service to transfer money to my Spanish bank account from the UK. On both occasions that I have used the service so far my money arrived in my Spanish bank account the following day. I will continue to use the service on at least a monthly basis and will have no hesitation in recommending this service to friends.

It was easy to set up an account, the transaction process is very straightforward, the rates are great and the fee reasonable - and the money arrived earlier than promised.

My experience is that if there is an error in the info provided, there does not seem to be an adequate process in place to put it right.
There is no info, on this problem on your site, you can only be contacted by e-mail and that is taking days to get info from you, as to how to resend a payment! In the meantime my money is in your hands!!!...............Help!

Brilliant!

I used TransferWise for the first time to transfer money for my Norwegian student loan. I normally pay a lot for the transaction, but this time it was much cheaper. I saved about 85 pounds! Will definitely use it again, and tell my friends about it.. Easy to use, watch the video and it is very clear! Definitely 5 stars!

Had heard of them, thought it seemed like a good idea as I'm living abroad and transferring money is such an arse.

It is a little bit of a fuss compared to just transferring normally, but it's all pretty simple to follow, then it's an automated process (I think!). But worth the minor fuss when you get your money back that's rightfully yours not the bank's!

Fast, efficient, excellent.

I've used TransferrWise twice now. Both times the money has arrived really quickly (in less than 24 hours, even when there was a bank holiday in the country of origin) and I've got a great rate.
It's a bit nerve-wracking the first time, transferring money to an unknown bank account in Estonia, but I'm glad I took the plunge. I had met an employee of the company on the holiday and that he'd told me all about it - that definitely helped with feeling confident that my money wasn't going to go missing!
Very pleased to have found out about TransferWise as I make a lot of international transfers.

First class customer service

I'm very satisfied indeed with the service. Have made 2 successful payments to the US from UK. The process is all online including documentation of identity. First time, I had some questions and customer service responded to my emails promptly. Second time, there was an issue at the US bank. This was a bank issue as it turned out. Not a Transferwise problem at all. Transferwise Customer Service handled the issue exceedingly well. Again, everything was sorted out by email. They retransmitted the US funds and all went well in the end.

I have used this service several times and have been very pleased with the ease and cost of the transfers. Telephone response was courteous and informative. The service would be even better if other major currencies, such as South African Rand, could be added to those already traded.

Living between Germany and the Uk and having bank accounts in both countries, I need an efficient low cost way of transferring pound to Euro. Found it!!! and use it every month without any problems. Love it and can't recommend highly enough

Very cost effective and efficient way to transfer money overseas

Very simple to use including funding payments from a debit card. Much better exchange rates than the banks, given the latter's large bid:offer spreads with low fees makes this a very cost effective way to transfer money. The one reservation is the "matching" nature of transfers means they may not be immediate so you don't know the actual rate until the amount has been matched. However, unless exchange rates are very volatile it is unlikely to be worse than comparable bank rates given their large spreads.
