Very fast good rate transfer
I found Transferwise to be a fantastic way to transfer money to my personal account back home.
Not only it provide one of, if not, the best rate but it also very low fees.
But the most important of all to me is the time it takes. This one took only 3 days.

absolutely perfect - making a transfer is super-easy and super-cheap. I transferred money from the UK to the Eurozone twice so far, and both times everything went perfect. I wonder why anyone is sending money via bank transfer...

Super Savings and Fast Service
I transferred £1k from my UK account into Euros to my new Spanish account towards the purchase of a car.
The process was simple and I got 1163 euros appear in my account, that is close to £50 less in charges than it would have cost me to transfer it directly from my Barclays account.
Amazing, I now have a new way to transfer and will be using it a lot in the near future.

FANTASTIC
TransferWise is absolutely brilliant. I recommend it to all my expat friends all the time. I'd buy stocks or invest if I could. I wouldn't think twice about quitting my job and working for them (need a multilingual marketing manager?). This company is the Napster of banking.

A 'WYSIWYG' sort of outfit
It works just like it says on the website - a 'what-you-see-is-what-you-get' user experience, so to speak. With one exception, perhaps: every time I've used it so far, the transfer has actually ended up going through even sooner than they'd told me.

Excellent rates and speedy transfer.
I am delighted that I have discovered this service. The Website is clear and easy to use. It remembered my previous bank settings so there was no need to put them in again. The exchange rate is very good even with the small charge. As a test I made a direct comparison at the same time with the method I normally use. Transferwise gave me 1.5% more and the money arrived in less than half the time it normally takes.

excelent customer service.... extremely rare in this faceless electronic age
I have used TransferWise twice recently. Both time, some info need to be manually added because there is a restriction on how many characters can be included in the input box. for notes / reference. Customer services was able to respond very quickly and positively about the request. Both transfers were completed within 24 hours, much quicker than what I expected. Excellent service with a rock bottom fee which I can't find elsewhere. Will definitely use again in the future.

I wanted to rent a house in the USA for a holiday and they wouldn't accept payment other than by direct payment. The cost to do this through my bank or other well-known companies was really high. TransferWise was easy, quick and efficient.

excellent, efficient service
I used the service to transfer money between my accounts in UK and Germany, but you can use it to transfer to anyone you want. The process of setting up the transfer is a bit confusing if you've used the service before and want to send to a previous recipient, but if you have all the details of the recipient to hand, and just want to make a one off transfer, it couldn't be easier.
They offer a free transfer if you sign up using a referral code: use http://transferwise.com/u/9191 if you want to try it. This means you'll be able to transfer money for less than it would usually cost taking money out of a cashpoint, and significantly less than transferring money using your bank.
Banks usually charge a fee (from about £9), but they also tweak the exchange rate in their favour, so that even if they move it by only 1p or so, they stand to make a lot of money from you. Transferwise doesn't tweak the exchange rate, and even if you have to pay for a transfer, it's pretty cheap.
They told me my money would arrive in 2 days, but actually it arrived in my foreign bank the same day.
Online support is friendly and helpful.

Fast, cheap, simple
The process went really fast, it was cheap (£1 instead of the £9 that my bank wants for international transfers) and a big plus was that you can make the transfer using your debit card. No need to log on to your internet bank, just fill out your card details and the money will be sent within a couple of days. I will most certainly use this site again!
