In the we didn't go with any of the companies that sent us quotes through you, as we just didn't seen to trust any of them to do the move.
We went with AJ Removals in Lightwater. The guy that quoted us came across as a happier and more caring person.

Within a couple of minutes of tapping in your details...you're done.Then literally from 24hrs to a couple of days,you get your quotes back or a date to be fixed for a visit and a quote. It really is that simple and it is always companies that service your area so no trailing through a long list of companies that may or may not.
It really takes the strain from something that you really are dreading searching for.When you are deciding on actually moving ,you probably have by then a MILLION of other things that you need to sort out.So this simple and very effective way really takes the pressure off and you actually feel you have got off to a very good start. I submitted an application for removal, then next day I got several calls from different removal companies. I am satisfied with the service given,

The service is good, but can be improved a little.

I find that most of your clients prefer to have the business done over the phone.
I like to see who I hire to do the work.
I like them to see what they are getting into and have this info to hand.
I also like to see that they are fully covered for the work in hand and have the tools for the job.
I would like to see the vehicles that will be used for the job and that they have the tools to do the job.
What I don't want is a company unprepared.
Following this makes both sides happy.

It made it easier getting hold of companies that I wouldn't have heard of anyway.
I do think companies should inform you that they had received your details through UK-Removal.co.uk, especially when the customer uses a lot of other websites to search for quotes.
I would certainly recommend using this service to others.

Excellent, no nonsense, "comparison" website all in one.

It's like a comparison website all on it's own, easy to understand and a pleasure to use. Even though I didn't take anybody up on my removal job, i would not hesitate to use and recommend this site to anybody.

Worst experience of my life

This was without a doubt the worst moving experience of my life. The movers showed up 4 hours late and they came not prepared with my wardrobe boxes. The lady I booked this through Maria....I tried to reach all day while movers didn't show up and the office phone just rang and rang. They finally showed up and I was expected to help them move and did so out of my flat and into new one.

Disgusting moving experience and they only took £10 off for my trouble,.

They should be out of business. The manager Arden was super rude and unsympathetic.

Very good and I would recommend using this service

Only problem was I accidentally clicked the ukremovals quotes button again and I was not able to cancel it. I received a lot of phone calls as a result!

Good Contact details - not much response

There were a lot of contact details fro me to call companies but I only received one reply - which happened to be a very good one.

The service is very efficient.

Last week I asked for a comparison of removal quotes in Cambridge area using this. Whiting 2 days, three removal companies contacted me and gave me the quotes for the service. I could easily choose the best price. I recommend entirely this service.

Your acknowledgement said that 6 companies had been sent my request. Of these, one sent a quote, two said they would send a quote but did not do so, and three did not bother to reply. So it hasn't been very satisfactory.
