I have a lifetime 49.99 membership on ebid which I have had for over a yr sales are slow but I live in the hope that one day people will realise how much of a scam ebay is and start coming over to ebid, I am sure it will go viral at some point until that day we live in hope :)
Using the site can be a little cluttered but since the new update things have improved immensely.
Personally I think the lifetime membership is an investment for the future.

Total waste of time dont use this site!!!!!!!

same story with me they close your account when you ask them why its so quite and no sales are going through they take all the £49 and so nothing for it a real scam. Use CQout they are alot better to use and really busy

BEWARE STAY AWAY!!!!

No traffic, no sales, no support

Ebid stinks...simple as that. Only 2 sales in 6 months compared with 20-30 a WEEK on ebay. The main problem is that Ebid will not advertise themselves. If you mention this in their forums you'll get a stream of replies telling YOU to advertise for them. Shoddy customer care imo. I moved to Ebid when ebay altered their fees, but if Ebid don't pull their fingers out and start doing something for the money we pay them then I'll just have to go somewhere else...along with the thousands of other dissillusioned paying customers.

A Wonderful Alternative

People have to remember that it is not ebay, it is a growing auction site and to give it a chance.

I have bought and sold things on ebid and found the process alot more relaxing than ebay.

If you want to put the fun back into buying or selling then ebid IS the place for you!

may be cheap, but sales are slow

The problem with this site is sales are so slow, after 9 in 2008 months of almost giving stuff away (I was selling that low) and around 20 sales, I just left, a complete and total waste of time. Moved the stuff I had listed on there to play.com at higher prices, had zero feedback, and within a month 75% of it had sold.

It's true, you get what you pay for, whats the point in paying low fees if you have less than 3 sales a month?

Rubbish, complete rubbish.. waste of time & hidden fees

I paid Ebid a £49 seller + fee. when I complained that no sales were being made even when my same items were selling greatly on Ebay, they closed my account and kept my money!!! Be warned!!! I've now contacted a Solicitor regarding this.
Try 121bid.com instead.....much much better
