Well, ever since I joined QCS I have always had a virtually immediate response to my questions.
Where there are aspects I can do myself they clearly laid out how I go about it but always offered to do it for me if I preferred.
An excellent service form an excellent company.
I found it easy to complete and the staff friendly and chatty when explaining anything to me.
The Team at QCS are always very friendly and happy to help with any queries. Thankfully I have had very few queries when using the system.
I personally find the system saves me an enormous amount of time, the site is easy to navigate and information updated on a regular basis.
This for me, was an excellent choice.
Customer care is very good; staff are available, approachable and knowledgeable about the product and the field that I work in.
This system helped me to feel confident when interviewed for registration and setting up i socIal care's first contract.

We recentky purchased the QCS premium complaince package.
The sales team who we dealt with prior to purchase were excellent - Sandra Dempster was very helpful and really understands the system.
We have been working through the various parts of the package and customising the relevant documents to our first care home. The documents are comprehensive and easy to follow.
The only comment we have at present is that the documents are very slow to load and it can require some patience to make the original access to the detailed documents we require. We have tried accessing fom a number of different points using a range of different desktop and laptop computers, but the problem seems to be the same and we can only conclude that there the server used by QCS is overloaded.
We hope that this issue will be overcome. At present it is stopping us from extending the use of the QCS system to our 2 other homes.
The Quality Compliance System has allowed our organisation to easily and quickly become aware, complaint and work seamlessly.

As a new Care Company set up 2 years ago by myself and 2 friends who had worked for the County Council for a number of years we were looking for Policies and Procedures for to enable us to set up our company and so while looking on the internet came across Quality Care Systems and signed up for a free trial. I received a phone call to talk me through the system that we would be getting and found that it was quite easy to follow was told that if I needed any help to ring and someone would talk me through my problems. I have only needed to contact the Help Line once and was really grateful for there help. I find the computer help I was given has helped me a lot in our business as each time we get a new client I just need to log on to the system and print out all the Care Plans and Risk Assessments tohelp keep us compliant at all times. The Staff are always very helpful and I would recommend them at any time to a new Company looking for this kind of help
On the whole this is an excellent system to wotk with, but there are the odd glitches which can be frustrating. One phone call to the team normally sorts out with minmal waiting for a full resolve!!
Alex and the team are brilliant, always professional and don't mind that I am always asking questions.
This is the second system we have purchased form CQC, as we are starting a new service provision and this is due to the quality of the product, and the excellent support team.
It would have been a 5 out of 5, if there were no glitches.
The list of policies is comprehensive and it has the added ability that you can upload the policies once you have amended them.
The Quality Compliance System has saved me so much time as all the information i need is at my fingertips and new legislation and updates are produced for me and delivered to my online account which can be accessed at the touch of a button.

We adopted this policy system in March 2012, after the merger of two seperate organisations left us without an updated set of policies to cover the new organisation. After completeing a very simple questionnaire about the organisation, QCS were able to provide a comprehensive set of hard copy polices and web based access to the policy set for all key members of staff in our organisation. This has really transformed the way we work, and came in very handy in summer 2012 as we prepared for a Local Authority Tender. Every policy was in the system, from care planning to business contingency. The quality assurance tools have also been an excellent help in preparation for our CQC inspection in September 2012.
The first impression of the company was good. I had a good demonstration and the standard since becoming a customer has not declined.
I can send a query 24 hrs a day knowing that the problem will be dealt with by Alex or other members of the team and even though I get frustrated at times as I'm not an IT whiz do you know he always gets me to where I want to be and explain everything fully and professionally, even if I forget he doesn't mind me phoning back
I call myself the mad women when I call and we always finish by having a laugh.
They are really a grate team to work with.
Having all the polices and procedures helps me to keep one foot ahead and help me with planning CQC registration.
Would I keep working with them YES they have given me so much help and advice as a new business they have helped me to keep on top form.
The information contain in these manuals is worth its weight in gold ,means will always be compliant with CQC as the company that produced them will make me aware of any and all changes made by CQC . They have been taylored to the company and will make life running it so much easier. They have been so helpfull right from the start and made the whole process a very pleasant experience.
The policies on here are so easy to find. You can type in a keyword and it will bring up a list of policies for you to chose from.
It has policies on just about anything you can think of. All of the wording is changed to suit the company.
Attached to some of these policies are useful templates, that we have adopted to use as they included a bit more information than our own, and they are easy to use.
It is much easier to search on the site, than it is to look through files etc..
I would recommend this site to anyone.
I know policy, procedure, risk assessments, compliant planning, positive behaviour management planning, activity schedules, mental capacity and endless other paperwork are the everyday tasks of a residential care home and completion of the above are what differentiate a care home from an efficient, well monitored and happy home. Delivery of person specific packages of care allow for accurate and meaningful experiences and reduction in challenging situations. Quality Compliance Systems have enable me to ensure CQC compliant documentation whilst providing prompts to keep one step ahead of regulation and legislation. I personally purchased this package outside the relms of my organisation, would I choose to do so again? Simple answer is YES. It has saved me precious time, looks proffessional whilst ensuring a fully comprehensive package of documentation that is upto date. It really is a fantastic kit that allows me to do what I enjoy doing spending time with my service users ensuring they have fun filled days.
The sevrice has been great. A very efficient operation that delivers on its promises. A quality well supported product saving many, many hours of time and covering all essential areas for CQC registration. Without this product CQC registration of the company would have taken far longer and may not have been possible at all. Everything that was needed was there incluidng the product and support for the product. The regular automatic updates are a particularly useful ongoing feature.
From the beginning staff were extremely helpful, helped me with my CQC registration. Would have been lost without them.
Staff are responsive and thorough. Like the way they get back to you and discuss areas of concern.
There is a lot of paperwork so still working my way through it.
For anyone who wishes to start up your new business look no further as this System is fully compliant and easy to follow.
The staffs at QCS are fully customer focus and assist you with your entire queries effectively; also the library is very useful to activate all documents you would require.

My experience with QCS very good ; their customer services are excellent, one gets attended to promptly and things are explained better for one to understand what they want from you, they are always there for one at any time to render help.God bless them.
This system has undoubtedly helped me in my job day to day, both with inspections but also with policies regarding staff etc.

Most of the policies are elderly and nursing home orientated. I have needed to edit many to fit my service as a small 6 bedded care home for people with learning disabilities!
Very good system and someone always at the end of the phone to help and give advice, would highly recommend
I had trouble trying to open the policies using adobe reader. I was even more frustrated because I had exhausted my 30 word documents allocation, therefore I couldnt open them in word either, the whole day yesterday was a nightmare. Could you please address this issue.
The service is good, everytime I have had a problem and made a call to the helpdesk, the member of staff on the other end of the phone has been helpful and resolved the problem. They provide a great service and I am glad I went with them.
Starting any business can be a mine field, l personally couldnt have done it without the excellent service that CQS have provided , they have helped me everystep of the way.
this is well worth the money,the only complaint is that you are only allowed to download a certain amount of documents in a month.I made the mistake of downloading the documents i didn't need in the first month.It is still a good system and has everything i need to run a home to cqc standards.
This is my first experience of starting a domicilary company in a stand alone situation which is a challenging experience. My greatest concern was how I got professional support with policies and procedures that was not going to stress me out and take a huge amount of time. I have found that with QCS. The team have been helpful and supportive. I have been able to personalise my documents to reflect my standards and requirements. The policies and procedures are meeting the CQC requirements so I can be confident in using th information with my clients and carers. I have now ordered the manuals having looked at other reviews I am hoping they will also meet my expectations. Thankyou
I received all the folders from QCS with all the policies which I thought would be individual to our practice.To my surprise some of the text in the policies did not apply to us.QCS should make sure the policies match to the individual practice prior to sending the folders.
the staff have been wonderful when it comes to assistance especially Alex but i have a problem with the product as it was reported on your site few months ago that you do not garantee its success with cqc. i do not understand. again it is very diffiult to download the polices from your site i paid £1700 plus. i have made application to cqc and there are few things i need to amend in some of the write up.

I havbe received perfect attention from all staff from start to finish of my registration. Staff have gone out of their way to meet my needs. I hope this continues throughout my first year of registration, I am sure I will need all the help they are willing to give.

Very comprehensive set of policies and procedure with regular updates. Worth every penny, advice and support has been second to none, Thank you
I find the system to be ideal when trying to keep up with all the changing legislation and compliance needs. Regular updates within the system ensure that our organisations polices are always complaint with the latest legisaltion. Different Managers can also have their own access to the online system which is very helpful if they need to check for a standard document or double check a policy.
QCS was efficient in the initial setup. £1800 saw me get the 3 huge files filled with every policy and procedure you can think of. As a very small dom care agency it would have been almost impossible to write these before our first inspection, so for that we are grateful. However having worked with the documents for over a year and are now paying £149 per month, I am not too convinced it represents value for money. Nearly all policies have needed editing by myself as they are very geared towards care/residential homes. We have scrapped thier assessment forms altogether and have cobbled one up ourselves. Our service users hated the questions we were asking and the forms were very invasive, way beyond CQC outcomes for needs assessments in dom care.
I do like the principle behind the organisation and the updates now sent as hard copies in the post, but I will be seriously considering not bothering at all next year unless I start to see the support I thought I was paying for in the field in which my company specialises. Generic anything is no good to me. I thought I was paying for tailor made????
