My experience with QCS very good ; their customer services are excellent, one gets attended to promptly and things are explained better for one to understand what they want from you, they are always there for one at any time to render help.God bless them.
Most of the policies are elderly and nursing home orientated. I have needed to edit many to fit my service as a small 6 bedded care home for people with learning disabilities!
I had trouble trying to open the policies using adobe reader. I was even more frustrated because I had exhausted my 30 word documents allocation, therefore I couldnt open them in word either, the whole day yesterday was a nightmare. Could you please address this issue.
The service is good, everytime I have had a problem and made a call to the helpdesk, the member of staff on the other end of the phone has been helpful and resolved the problem. They provide a great service and I am glad I went with them.
this is well worth the money,the only complaint is that you are only allowed to download a certain amount of documents in a month.I made the mistake of downloading the documents i didn't need in the first month.It is still a good system and has everything i need to run a home to cqc standards.
This is my first experience of starting a domicilary company in a stand alone situation which is a challenging experience. My greatest concern was how I got professional support with policies and procedures that was not going to stress me out and take a huge amount of time. I have found that with QCS. The team have been helpful and supportive. I have been able to personalise my documents to reflect my standards and requirements. The policies and procedures are meeting the CQC requirements so I can be confident in using th information with my clients and carers. I have now ordered the manuals having looked at other reviews I am hoping they will also meet my expectations. Thankyou
I received all the folders from QCS with all the policies which I thought would be individual to our practice.To my surprise some of the text in the policies did not apply to us.QCS should make sure the policies match to the individual practice prior to sending the folders.
the staff have been wonderful when it comes to assistance especially Alex but i have a problem with the product as it was reported on your site few months ago that you do not garantee its success with cqc. i do not understand. again it is very diffiult to download the polices from your site i paid £1700 plus. i have made application to cqc and there are few things i need to amend in some of the write up.

I havbe received perfect attention from all staff from start to finish of my registration. Staff have gone out of their way to meet my needs. I hope this continues throughout my first year of registration, I am sure I will need all the help they are willing to give.
I find the system to be ideal when trying to keep up with all the changing legislation and compliance needs. Regular updates within the system ensure that our organisations polices are always complaint with the latest legisaltion. Different Managers can also have their own access to the online system which is very helpful if they need to check for a standard document or double check a policy.
QCS was efficient in the initial setup. £1800 saw me get the 3 huge files filled with every policy and procedure you can think of. As a very small dom care agency it would have been almost impossible to write these before our first inspection, so for that we are grateful. However having worked with the documents for over a year and are now paying £149 per month, I am not too convinced it represents value for money. Nearly all policies have needed editing by myself as they are very geared towards care/residential homes. We have scrapped thier assessment forms altogether and have cobbled one up ourselves. Our service users hated the questions we were asking and the forms were very invasive, way beyond CQC outcomes for needs assessments in dom care.
I do like the principle behind the organisation and the updates now sent as hard copies in the post, but I will be seriously considering not bothering at all next year unless I start to see the support I thought I was paying for in the field in which my company specialises. Generic anything is no good to me. I thought I was paying for tailor made????
I would strongly recommend using Quality Compliance Systems to anyone wishing to register their business with the CQC. Alleviating a lot of the stress associated with all the paperwork needed to be fully compliant. The staff are always so very helpful and only to pleased to help with the many questions I have posed to them. Personally I would like to thank Rea, Andy and Mindy for all their input, advice and most importantly for always listening to me and by taking the time to help me in any way that they can.

We purchased the system in April 2012, shortly after the merger of two separate care providing charities. Needing to be CQC compliant from the date of the changeover was a must, and reworking lots of old premerger policies was a daunting task. QCS provided almost instant access to the full range of policies we needed for our charity, and many others besides, which has been an immense help, and very reassuring. The range and depth of the policies and procedures provided through the system has enable us to confidently tender for new services knowing that we are meeting the criteria, and all of our policies are fully up to date. It’s great to be able to check which policies have been read by staff, and tailor reading lists for new staff etc. A very versatile system and a cost effective way to ensure compliance.
I have saved myself so much time to carry out my managemnt duties, am updating my files using this system. This has helped me to carry out my work effectively. Please make policies adopted to Supporting People as well
I must admit initially I was unsure as whether this system would benefit our organisation and had started the daunting task of writing policys myself. Due to workload i quickly realised that this was going to take forever to complete so decided to go ahead with QCS Systems. The process was very simple to follow and Alex and the team in customer care are always available to answer any questions. The care management system folders are of a very high quality and all in all I have been extremely impressed with QCS
I own a domicilary care agency. i have had to write my own pols and pros as i find yours are not suitable as they are geared towards residential settings. alot of forms are more complex than needed. and also alot of info you provide on training is out of date i.e nvqs. there were other things out of date which i phoned and advised you of. system is good if youve never done this type of thing before but for an established agency i feel its not up to scratch.
The professionalism, coupled with the ernest desire to satisfy the needs of the clients cannot be overemphasied.

Although making the required amendments to the policies threw up quite a few problems I must say that Alex has always been a huge help sorting everything out. He is unfailingly polite and efficient and nothing was too much trouble, it has been a pleasure to deal him and he solved every difficulty that we had with the system.
We are a very small outfit currently supporting one adult. The CQC Registration process was a nightmare for us, particularly as we had only worked with children previously. Without the breadth and depth of the policies provided by QCS we would never have got registered. WARNING, just buying the policies from QCS will not get you registered. You need to adapt them to your own individual circumstances and remove policies you do not need, if necessary. It was clear from the CQC Assessor that having the policicies but then adapting them to our organisation and being able to explain why was what made the crucial difference.
Starting out in a new business is daunting, i came across this company on the internet and decided to ask for some information, i am so glad i did. Within 20 minutes of enquiring, i had a phone call, everything i needed to know was explained fully and in an easy to understand way.
My certificate and books were very quickly dispatched. Books were padded well, the certificate could have had some cardboard in to help keep it flat as some postmen take no notice of 'do not bend' (also the monthly updates) but thats only a tiny issue.
If you ring this company regarding any worries you have, they will bend over backwards to help and assist you to solve them.
Without this companys guide and support i would not be where i am today.

I wish I was able to download a lot of material when I want rather than for it to be dished out in piecemeals.
Once one buys the product I should be able to acess it in my home rather than just coming to work.
Having registered with Quality Compliance Systems prior to our registration mid 2011, we found the systems very helpful in enhancing our knowledge and understanding of the new legal framework as well as carefully planning how we would best achieve the very high standards of the quality of services we provide. This made it easy to prepare our application for submission to the Care Quality Commission. The fact that we have electronic, as well as hard file systems provides us with easy and instant access to specific information. Together with weekly compliance reminders and regular updates, these systems provides the template for high quality standards of services and it certainly leaves no room for complacence. Although costly, it certainly relieves the stress of scratching the surface on what to do at any given time in the process. I would recommend it to anyone as long as you can afford it. The only draw back is the limit to the amount of documents we can open in 'word', and the hassle of having to seek permission from QCS to have it increased, although they do not hesitate to do so.
The QCS compliant has really help me the process of my registration and they gave me very good support and advice when ever i needed. I recommend to any organisation who are in this industry. I find their policies and procedures excellent, because when the inspector from CQC came to visit us, all the policies was easy to find it.
This has been a valuable support to me with this independant small charity home. It ensures that I am up to date with all the relevant legislation and documentation required.
Absolutely fantastic, contains everything we need with the added option of customising the documents to give it a personal feel. as a computer neanderthal i find the system very easy to use. Staff on the other end of the phone polite and informative. I still need to 'tweek' a few bits but all in all i'm bery pleased. Happy Xmas to all at QCS.
