The quality of service this company provides is excellent. They are always willing to give advise and assistance by telephone or email. There emails are always followed up immediately. The policy updates are timely. The quality of the paperwork is excellent. However they keep saying we are not compliant. As the policies are used centrally to update and amend our own policies it is not appropriate for NWCS to fill in all the documentation as it pertains to a particular 'home'. we did fill in one form at the begining and then because this was late in being submitted QCS had changed the format and there were more details to fill in which as I have indicated were not applicable for the way we use the policies sent to us. Also have QCS stopped posting policies are we now expected to download them. No information was sent to explain that this would be the case in future.

As a small care home I have really used the system and feel that the service from all of its operatives both on the telephone and on line is fantastic. I would recommend this as I do to all of my colleagues in the Care sector.
I have found QCS invaluable in their provision of policies and procedures to my specialised area of work. While I do not run a domiciliary care agency, I am responsible for the direct recruitment, management and supervision of care teams working with my clients.
During my CQC registration process, I demonstrated the QCS files I use in the management of various support teams. CQC were familiar with QCS and agreed with me that they provided a sterling service.
Very helpful staff at QCS, the online information/tools are great and improving all the time.
Receiving the up-dates on our policies direct to our staff helps us to ensure we are giving our staff the most up-to-date information.
This system is a great asset to our home. It keeps you up to date with all changes relating to the Essential Standards of Quality and Safety and is invaluable in all administration procedures.
It is extremely easy to use and I would recommend it to all Managers of care homes.

We have just renewed for the 3rd year and would'nt be without it.
From experience, CQS guide towards registration is very good but beware, it's you who have to put the work in to become compliance with CQC. Also if you are let down in any way in setting up your business, the contract you sign with CQS is binding for twelve months, it's the director of CQS who has the last call?

I have found QCS invaluable whilst setting up my small domiciliary care agency. They took the stress out of putting together and maintaining high quality policies and procedures. I am always fully informed and the Agency benefits from being up to date, relevant and compliant. The Provider Compliance Assessment toolkits have also been extremely useful. I feel QCS have guided me through what is a minefield of requirements and legislation.
QCS subscription has not only provided us 'peace of mind' in regard to compulsory compliance issues, it also provides continuous updates and significant information relevant to the sector.
This is the best place to get your Policies and Procedures. The staff is very helpful and will always call you to find out if you have any problems and you can always phone them for anything and they are willing to help
By using this service we know we are compliant & providing the best care & producing all the neccesary paperwork required. Any changes brought about we will be notified so we dont have to sit around thinking of how to" put pen to paper". We found it very advantageous to be able to access the system online prior to purchasing the full system including hard back files. As a small agency we found the additional online and telephone support a great help, particularly our designated system support - Rhea.
Our only criticism/disappointment would be that we are only able to access the system online for 12 months, at which time we would have to purchase the whole system again, rather that just 'renew' membership at a lesser fee.
Ther service we recieved from Ria was second to none, she explained and talked me and my deputy through the system and followed up by answering any questions we had, we are looking forward to using the new system with certainty that the customer service will be as wonderful as the introduction many thanks Ria for all your help Kind regards from Trudy and Michelle
This is my second year with QCS and as im still anew company it is nice to know that they update and send out the new policy's and procedures promptly,very kind helpful people and i wouldnt look anywhere eles,i see that my company and QCS will have a very long lasting relationship for many years to come,as without the help of QCS with keeping upto date on p&p's i dont think i would manage it. I was disappointed that we wasn't informed of the extensive questionnaire prior to placing our order, we have clearly lost out as we are in the process of setting our company and paying for goods which we are not yet using apart from that we believe care plans are fab
I have found the system easy to use.Everything I need is there, policies are simple but all inclusive.I would recomend this system to anyone starting either as a manager or owning a Home.
Since purchasing the system the customer care support has been first class with regular prompting in respect of updates and compliance reminders.

Really found that the system allows you to have your company up and running really fast. The policy's and procedures were a great help. It has really been a fantastic investment. I will say however to improve the service it would be good to see a more diverse range of training materials there are a lot of subjects already ie the important ones but would be good to see more specialised subjects such as asthma, epilepsy, diabetes etc. all in all well pleased with the service provided advisers are always accessible well they have been for me any way.
