Well, I thought I would easily be able to gather all the evidence for my CQC approval, having been used to OFSTED, it couldnt be so bad could it?so with my file under my arm ( note just the one!) I met with the inspector. Oh dear.... Although my understanding of the standards was good, I was way off the mark with the evidence. I contacted QCS and they talked me through the whole system that they could offer me. It sounded amazing and the hands on explanation was really useful. Boy did that girl have patience!! I wouldn't hesitate to buy the whole package, I have received all my paper based manuals and I can interact with my documents, policies and statements on line. The after service is equally good. I have my CQC approval meeting tomorrow, wish me luck and I' ll keep you posted.
COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT QCS THEY MADE SETTING UP OUR COMPANY EASY BY PROVIDING ALL OUR PROTOCOLS AND PROCEDURES WE WILL EVER NEED. QCS HAVE TAKEN THE WORRY OUT OF THE EQUATION WHICH HELPED US DIRECT OUR ENERGIES TO OTHER MATTERS WHICH NEEDED OUR FULL ATTENTION. YOUR SIMPLY THE BEST
Well, ever since I joined QCS I have always had a virtually immediate response to my questions. Where there are aspects I can do myself they clearly laid out how I go about it but always offered to do it for me if I preferred. An excellent service form an excellent company.
Customer care is very good; staff are available, approachable and knowledgeable about the product and the field that I work in. This system helped me to feel confident when interviewed for registration and setting up i socIal care's first contract. Thank you!!

The sales team who we dealt with prior to purchase were excellent - Sandra Dempster was very helpful and really understands the system.
We have been working through the various parts of the package and customising the relevant documents to our first care home. The documents are comprehensive and easy to follow. The only comment we have at present is that the documents are very slow to load and it can require some patience to make the original access to the detailed documents we require. We have tried accessing fom a number of different points using a range of different desktop and laptop computers, but the problem seems to be the same and we can only conclude that there the server used by QCS is overloaded.
We hope that this issue will be overcome. At present it is stopping us from extending the use of the QCS system to our 2 other homes.
As a new Care Company set up 2 years ago by myself and 2 friends who had worked for the County Council for a number of years we were looking for Policies and Procedures for to enable us to set up our company and so while looking on the internet came across Quality Care Systems and signed up for a free trial. I received a phone call to talk me through the system that we would be getting and found that it was quite easy to follow was told that if I needed any help to ring and someone would talk me through my problems. I have only needed to contact the Help Line once and was really grateful for there help. I find the computer help I was given has helped me a lot in our business as each time we get a new client I just need to log on to the system and print out all the Care Plans and Risk Assessments tohelp keep us compliant at all times. The Staff are always very helpful and I would recommend them at any time to a new Company looking for this kind of help
On the whole this is an excellent system to wotk with, but there are the odd glitches which can be frustrating. One phone call to the team normally sorts out with minmal waiting for a full resolve!! Alex and the team are brilliant, always professional and don't mind that I am always asking questions. This is the second system we have purchased form CQC, as we are starting a new service provision and this is due to the quality of the product, and the excellent support team. It would have been a 5 out of 5, if there were no glitches.
The Quality Compliance System has saved me so much time as all the information i need is at my fingertips and new legislation and updates are produced for me and delivered to my online account which can be accessed at the touch of a button. Staff were very friendly and alwasy helpful no matter how big or small the question. Quality product, quality service.
The information from QCS has helped me in early stages of starting a care business. Policies and Procedures updated regular. Alex and the team have been very helpful and supportive. A Excellent Service .
We adopted this policy system in March 2012, after the merger of two seperate organisations left us without an updated set of policies to cover the new organisation. After completeing a very simple questionnaire about the organisation, QCS were able to provide a comprehensive set of hard copy polices and web based access to the policy set for all key members of staff in our organisation. This has really transformed the way we work, and came in very handy in summer 2012 as we prepared for a Local Authority Tender. Every policy was in the system, from care planning to business contingency. The quality assurance tools have also been an excellent help in preparation for our CQC inspection in September 2012.
I can send a query 24 hrs a day knowing that the problem will be dealt with by Alex or other members of the team and even though I get frustrated at times as I'm not an IT whiz do you know he always gets me to where I want to be and explain everything fully and professionally, even if I forget he doesn't mind me phoning back I call myself the mad women when I call and we always finish by having a laugh. They are really a grate team to work with. Having all the polices and procedures helps me to keep one foot ahead and help me with planning CQC registration. Would I keep working with them YES they have given me so much help and advice as a new business they have helped me to keep on top form.
The information contain in these manuals is worth its weight in gold ,means will always be compliant with CQC as the company that produced them will make me aware of any and all changes made by CQC . They have been taylored to the company and will make life running it so much easier. They have been so helpfull right from the start and made the whole process a very pleasant experience.
