great service but annoying wait times
Prompt last minute service, the only annoying thing is the waiting time as collection happens at any time from 9-6!

Outstanding service
I am greatly satisfied with this service as it was my first experience with Uni Baggage. Price is very reasonable for max 30 kg as compared to other companies, collection and delivery service was smooth with text alert messages. I would give 10/10 score for the great service i had and i will use this service again.

great and unique service
Just had my baggage delivered from London to Zermatt.
It was an excellent service, the baggage took a little longer than expected, but always helpful, good tracking information and the bag delivered to my door , even though I live half way up a mountain side.

Great service.
I would definitely recommend unibaggage. Much cheaper than send my bag. The employees are very polite and helpful. I would prefer if the pick up time and delivery time would be more specific rather than between the hours of 9am and 6pm.

NOT HAPPY,belonging not delivered YET - HELP
I still have not recieved my unibaggae which was collected in Liverpool on the 4 June. I have two box containing my belonging and one box for storage. I recieved one box of belonging and and the STORAGE BOX(which is still in my home). We have contacted unibaggage on several occasions and completed all the relevant forms but no further along. We are told tracers issued,should only take 5 days, labels may have come off,the Belfast depot are very good but still no box. At the moment no ones seems to grasp that we have the box for storage which has the labels that say for STORAGE. All three boxes were collected at the same time. The assurance given are starting to fall flat.

Excellent! Shipment on time, no troubles and excellent customer service
I was happy that somebody had thought about the unpleasant idea of spending a lot of money on bags in a international flight. Would have cost me a lot more to get all my baggage from uni to where I live. The people are also very friendly and helpful and will guide you even through silly questions. I loved the chat option because instead of waiting for an e-mail you got an instant written reply. My bags got delivered on time and in perfect condition. A happy customer.

Ok, but with some problems
In general I think Unibaggage is a greate option to send your stuff and with all my friends the service was great. Unfortunately, with me there was some kind of miss understanding, so that they wanted to pick up my luggage 3 days early and then they did not pick them up on the collection date I booked. In the end the luggage was picked up one day late. But the service center answered promptly and therefore I can say I had a fairly good experience with Unibaggage.

Not all necessary requirements were stated, leading to lengthy phone calls
Price was reasonable, the problem occurred with their parcel handler (DHL) which required an itemised list with values of my Uni items which was problematic and not identified by unibaggage.
That being said, the parcels arrived ahead of schedule.

Bit unorganized,but all in all really good.
I booked on a thursday for pickup on monday.
The driver arriveson friday, i tell him the suitcase is not packed because it was booked for monday. He says he'll come back monday.
I take the day off work, wait the whole day (pick-up time between 9-18).
Nobody shows up.
I call them the next day, the driver picks it up one hour later. Woohoo!
I mean it was slightly unorganized, but the suitcase arrived in germany in two days which is really great.
Will definetly ship my stuff with them again.

Best price and good service!
Although my bag wasn't picked up the day I wanted it, unibaggage didn't hesitate to contact DHL and my bag was picked up the following day and arrived very quick at my place. :)

good reliable service.
Once again very pleased with this service. Have used before to send student belongings back and forward to UK. Have recommended to others as we have found it works well.
Would just point out his time when we went to order Uni Baggage own boxes they were sold out. Had to buy Argos which are not as strong and had split on arrival. Luckily nothing seems to have been lost.

Easy, efficient, a great experience!

Excellent, reliable and quick service
Unibaggage picked up two boxes at my door in England on the announced day.
The Download and the attachment of the labels was very simple and the delivery could be tracked in every step of the shipping - I always knew where my baggage was, fantastic!
It Even arrived one day earlier in Germany than expected.
I would recommend unibaggage to everyone who seeks a quick, reliable and relatively cheap shipping service!

Will not be using again
I had my bag picked up early enough which was good because I was told it would be between 9am and 6pm which is essentially a full day of playing the waiting game. It was picked up from Derry and supposed to be delivered to me in Glasgow on Thursday. I waited in all day on Thursday and no bag was delivered so I phoned up ParcelForce to enquire about my bag. The woman was helpful and told me my bag had been delivered to two depots in Northern Ireland when it should have only been at one then sent to the national hub. It was at the national hub on thursday but still to make it's way to Glasgow so she had said it would be with me tomorrow (Friday) and she gave me the Glasgow depots number to phone in the morning to enquire the whereabouts of my bag. The latest I can stay in the house on Friday is 3pm because I have a job interview at 4pm! I phoned them before 10am this morning and the woman on the phone told me my luggage had been shipped back to Belfast! I've now been told my stuff won't reach me 'til Monday almost a week since it was picked up from Derry! I would be quicker myself getting the boat over to Belfast and bringing it back here myself! The woman did mention about phoning Belfast up to fast track it overnight which is still an inconvenience as I'll only be in the house until 2pm on Saturday! I now have to go and buy interview clothes because the majority of my clothes are in that bag and having planned to have received it the day before my interview I didn't see myself getting into this predicament. Good price for having heavy items shipped but a total inconvenience.

Very clear, little hassle, a very good solution for international students!
I would definitely recommend UniBaggage to a friend. It is very easy and it delivery was quicker than I expected. They could improve finding information on the website with for example FAQs. And as I live(d) in the Highlands my chosen pick up date wasn't available. It was booked in a day later which was fine, it was just not changed in the 'My orders section' and I got an text reminder a day too early which was a bit confusing. But all my stuff got delivered very quickly without any problems!

Not a pleasant experience
I had been recommended uni baggage by a friend of mine, who told me that it was a cheap alternative for sending large packages to other European countries that she had used twice before. I placed my order on Sunday 26th of May to be collected on Wednesday, the 29th (note that the 28th would have been the first available date to me). Tuesday afternoon arrived and I still hadn't gotten my labels for the shipping, which is why I dropped an email, which was responded to an hour later, saying that my labels were now ready to print. Fair enough one would think, because Monday was a Holiday and I still got them on time. The only problem: the labels didn't belong to my order but to someone else's. By the time I received them and had time to call or notify uni baggage nobody was at the office anymore. Since my parcel was supposed to be collected the next day somewhen from 9 am to 6pm, I tried ringing as soon as the hotline was open (9 am on weekdays) but wasn't able to reach someone until 10.30 am. The person was friendly and dealt with my request within 15 minutes, so I could print off my labels. This unfortunately caused some inconvenience for me as I do not own a printer and had I not been able to borrow one from my friend the night before, I would not have been able to print these off. However, this is not where the trouble ended: my package didn't get collected that day at all. I again dropped an email because calling would cost me additional money as to when my collection would be. When I didn't hear from uni baggage until the afternoon of the next day despite the automatic email reply saying that most emails get answered within 2 hours, I called again. Again customer service on the phone was very friendly and explained that they had trouble with DHL not picking up parcels and that apparently their email system didn't work at the moment, which is why I didn't receive an answer. My pick-up date was rescheduled to the next day, Friday, May 31st and the collection time was supposed to be between 12 and 4 pm. On Friday, early afternoon, I suddenly received an email, saying that my collection date could only be rescheduled to Monday now. Confused, I signed onto the website and used the live help that for a change was online. Within minutes, my problem was resolved, as the member of staff apologised for the confusion and that my parcel would still be collected today and that the email was only in response to the one I had sent on Wednesday. He also managed to phone DHL (by that time it was 3.30pm) and I was told that my collection would be in about 15 minutes. The package was collected in even less than that and arrived on Tuesday, June 4th - which was even within the original time frame given to me at its destination in good condition.
All in all, customer service was helpful through this and once the parcel was collected, the service was excellent. However, the hassle I had to go through before collection was time-consuming and due to the phone calls I had to make money-consuming.

Problems were dealt with quickly, fast delivery
Great service for a small price! Initially, there was a small problem with the pick up as DHL staff arrived one day earlier than I wanted.Two calls (the first one was not answered) to the unibaggage service centre were sufficient to sort this problem out - unibaggage talked to DHL to tell them to come back the next day again. Also unibaggage apoplogised not only verbally but also via mail (although it was not really their mistake, but rather DHL's). Delivery was fast as pick up day was on Thursday afternoon and delivery was on Tuesday noon. One box was slighlty damaged, but all the stuff inside was unaffected by this.

Decent Service
I wanted to shift 50 KG of luggage from Plymouth to Edinburgh. Cost me around £50. Received a text on the day of collection.
My only bad point is that I had not received a text stating that my luggage was going to be delivered on that day.

I have been using Unibaggage now for 2 years to ship my belongings backwards and forwards to university and have always found the service easy to use. Booking everything on line could not be easier but when I have found I needed to talk to an agent, they were quick to respond to me and couldn't have been more helpful!
This service is so easy to use and much easier than lugging heavy luggage on a flight. It's also a lot cheaper as the weight allowances are very generous. Having found this service, I would never consider checking in luggage again! I have recommended the service to all my friends and family and can't praise the service or staff enough!

Just what I needed!
My study abroad year in France is about to end soon and since I have a lot of stuff with to bring back to UK, I decided to send some back and hope to avoid having to pay extra weight charges when checking-in for my flight. I booked my collection date, 2 days before and once collected, I have been tracking my boxes until it has been delivered. It only took 6 days for it to arrive..! I am very satisfied with services provided and would definitely come back to use it, should I need it. I would also recommend my friends to use it.
I am glad I found UniBaggage, or else I would have to pay 3x the price I paid for sending my 2 boxes if I use the normal post service in France.
UniBaggage saved my money :P

Great service, but used old-fashioned carrier
I chose unibaggage because I thought they would be the end-to-end service provider. But as the bag was just going within the UK it was contracted to Parcelforce. In principle that was fine, and the price OK (although another courier company Such as myhermes.co.uk could have done it for around half the price), but Parcelforce would only give 9am to 6pm collection and delivery time slots. This meant someone being in ALL day at both ends! So last century and customer un-friendly. Next time I would just work with a more modern courier company directly.

Excellent customer service made up for initial disappointment
I have previously reviewed unibaggage on this site and awarded them 1 star as my daughter's bag had not been collected. However, since then the case has safely arrived home and I have had half my money refunded to compensate for my inconvenience. I feel the after sales customer service of the company was excellent and I now believe that this is a company I would be willing to use again. Well done, unibaggage, I am now a convert!

A handy service to transport my university baggage .

Delighted first time user!
