Reliable, friendly and amazingly efficient.
I didn't know what to expect from this company, because the prices seem almost too good to be true. But as it turns out, it's just a great service. I've used them twice to ship bags between Northern England (out in the countryside) and the suburbs of a city in South France, and they've been efficient and professional each time. I have literally no complaints.

It was a really great service. I had one bag shipped from France (though i should have done 2! (paying for an extra bag on a plane is n't cheap) I flew home with the rest of my things.
My only problem was that the driver picking up my things in France couldn't find my apartment. After some directions in French, the bag was taken on a Wednesday evening and arrived here on Monday morning.

The best way to travel home-no luggage!
I use this service when i travel home in Northern Ireland from unversity in England. It only takes two days and always makes it back and forth with no problems.

Excellent value for a good quality service, only the method of communication could have been better.
Everything was really good. Collected and delivered on time. The only problem was that the courier company (Parcelforce) were apparantly told to pick up my package twice after I needed to change the pick up address: once from the first address and once from the new one. This did not prove a major problem however.

So easy!!
The website is extremely easy to follow, and the delivery was exactly on time! Only drawback is that the collection company will not call you when they arrive, which means I couldn't leave the house even for 5mins, for fear that I would miss it! But overall I would definitely recommend it to all my friends!

normally so impressed but bag was late this time.
I always use unibaggage at the start and end of term. I have been so impressed with the service and have experienced no difficulties. This time by bag was supposed to arrive on a Friday, but it was a day late meaning it didnt come until Monday. This meant that when I arrived on Sunday morning, a lot of my belongings were not there causing annoyance and inconvenience.

I have used uni baggage before and there was no problems, but this time when i got my suitcase it was extremely dirty, this is why i only rated it 3 stars, apart from that there wasn't any other problems.

Diabolical!
Totally lost case since march 22. First they denied even picking up the case until receipt with driver reference was produced from halls of residence. Next defence was that labels must have fallen off - since two were tied on separately within sealed plastic bags they can only have been ripped off! Constant phone calls to company have been totally frustrating as the standard platitude is 'I do understand your frustration' like a scripted robot suggesting they have to say this regularly. Having been asked for make and photo of suitcase also implies they loose things regularly. My daughter has most of her clothes and her rowing kit in it and not sure what she will do. Not sure that anyone at unibaggage is particularly bothered and being polite and patient has got me nowhere so hopefully writing this review might make someone somewhere actually look for the case and maybe give me a phone call saying something constructive instead of me having to do all the chasing! Would never recommend them especially since they subcontract to parcel force which has never managed to delivery to me without a hitch. Had I read the small print and seen they subcontract I probably wouldn't have used them. Apparently unibaggage can do little themselves to chase parcel force.

Would highly reccommend to all uni students! 5* service.
I was really pleased with the service of Uni Baggage. There were no problems with collection or delivery. (My luggage was collected in the UK and delivered to Germany).
At such a cheap price and such ease, it is possible to take half of your wardrobe with you, wherever your destination, in my case abroad!

from edinburgh to italy in 4 working days!! practical and cheap international service
everything from the booking to the collection to the delivering was fine.
price excellent (lenient with weight) and delivering in time.
the only small detail that can be ameliorated is the time window of the items collection, which is 9:00-18:00, but I did not wait so long, DHL collected my items at 12:00.
easier, cheaper, and faster than all the alternatives!!

I needed to send things quickly and cheaply to my daughter in London and Unibaggage was the perfect solution!
The website is so easy to use. Very professional service. My packages were collected promptly and dispatched safely. My daughter was delighted to receive her things so quickly.......in fact a day earlier than arranged, and I was delighted with the price of the service.
The only slight negative is that the time window for collection is so wide that someone has to be at home all day, or leave the parcel outside (which I would find risky). However I appreciate that this condition contributes to the excellent price of the service,
I will most definitely use Unibaggage again, and I have recommended it to my friends.
I would score the Company 10/10. You can't say better than that!

Quick, easy and really good value!
Unibaggage is really great for getting all my stuff back and forward from uni; especially when I have lots of books to bring home over the holidays and they are too heavy to go on the plane. It also makes travelling a lot easier because they collect and deliver door-to-door; and within 2 days! I've used it for 3 years and it's been great! And if there's ever a problem the people are really helpful!

Multiple events lead to an overall bad experience.
DHL was supposed to pick up 2 suitcases on 27 Mar 13. On the morning of 26 Mar DHL Barcelona contacted me and asked if I would like to have the bags picked up the same day. I verified with them that my pick up date was actually the 27th however DHL confirmed it would not change the agreement and they would gladly pick it up on the 26th. Needless to say they did not.
I informed Uni Bag that evening (26th) of what happened however they rightfully told me that I should wait for the pick up the next day. Again I stayed at home the whole day waiting for someone to pick it up. Towards the afternoon I felt uneasy about not receiving any communication from DHL and I informed Uni Bag about this again.
This went on and on and finally when someone listened it was too late for anyone to pick the bags and I was told DHL had some communication break down.
I had to leave the next morning at 07:00 for business in Tarragona and my plan was to fly out from there however I was forced to take the train back to Barcelona and then later back to Tarragona (at my expense) to deliver the bags. Again DHL didn't arrive during the scheduled time and I had to make plenty of calls before they did. When they arrived they refused to take the suitcases because it wasn't packed in boxes. Again I had to make many phone calls to rectify the situation.
It was a very frustrating experience and I had to spend quite a bit of money without any reimbursement for the return train ticket at short notice and all the calls I had to make whilst being on roaming charges.
I'm not impressed with your service.

Completely hassle-free travel

fast and cheap
I would welcome more precise information about pick up time in advance. 9-18 span is quite annoying even though the driver arrived around 11 and so didn't need to spend the whole day waiting at home....Delivery was a day earlier than stated, again with no update beforehand. It may seem like one shall be happier having goods delivered earlier but I would prefer sticking to the agreed schedule.

I genuinely love them, truly fantastic in 99% of things, but communication requires work.
They are a great service, cheap and effective. Always as helpful as they can be with booking and arranging colelection. Used them a few times and only had the one problem, the last time I used them the delivery co. sent my stuff to the wrong place - completely not Unibaggage's fault - but it took longer to get to me, and at no point in the day when I was expecting it, and therefore stayed in, or on the consequent delay was I informed that it had been delayed or given an updated eta (it was only through checking the tracking website at the end of the first day that I found out it had been sent to the wrong place)

Fantastic Service!
Thank you so much again for a speedy and reliable delivery! Arriving home to find Northern Ireland in the midst of a snow storm, I wasn't expecting my suitcase with all my dissertation work, lecture notes and books for about a week. Low and behold it arrived 48 hours after I sent it, despite the terrible weather, and I was able to finish an important essay on time!

I sent a box and received a decimated mess and a broken front door handle.
Having sent boxes via unibaggage before I know that they often come back in a little worse condition than when they were sent, understandable given that they are piled on and off lorries with hundreds of similar parcels. However, my most recent experience was one of having sent an intact, well sealed box and then receiving a mulch of cardboard with most of the parcel tape ripped off and a gash about a foot long down the side. This is quite frankly disgusting, as not only were there smaller items (such as shoes - not that small really) which could have fallen out of this hole, but entire textbooks and folders could have easily slipped though it. Not only this, but as the delivery man was placing the box just inside the house, he managed to shear off our front door handle incurring a cost of about £100 to fix. Thank you so much unibaggage for providing such a truly awful service.
