I've been waiting for an urgent parcel that their own delivery commitment states will be delivered in 2 business days, however 3 business days later the package still hasn't been delivered. It's now Friday afternoon and I needed the goods for this weekend so thanks to UPS that's the weekend ruined!! Their customer service agents are as much use as a chocolate teapot, having a tooth extracted would be less painful and a more pleasant experience then trying to communicate with them. Never ever again will I order from anyone who uses UPS
I am so incredibly disappointed with the UPS service and website. Having been unavailable to receive a parcel I changed the delivery date and duly took time off work to stay home to collect the parcel. The online tracker said it was out for delivery all day and all day I waited. Needless to say the parcel did not arrive. I have checked this morning and once again the parcel said it was out for delivery (c.7am) but at 9am I received an email saying they are now holding the parcel with no expected delivery date displayed. Absolutely fruitless methods of contacting UPS, their website is not up to par and I'm so very dissapointed with their service.
After having issues with courier services before, Hermes being the worst, I was inspired to leave this review as I usually don't bother. This was easy to track, I knew when to expect the delivery, so no waiting around. I had my last two deliveries from UPS and each time I had the parcels in 2 days from day of order. The courier that delivered was so friendly, even in the extreme weather and a quick signature was required and I'm a happy customer. Thank you UPS!
I have been waiting for over a month to receive a parcel that was sent with UPS. The first time wasn't received at all and the company i have purchased from resend it. the second time UPC claims that that the parcel was delivered to me and that i have signed for it. Quite difficult as i wasn't at home when the parcel "delivered". When i called them to find out they claimed again that i have signed for it and they are not at fault. If i want to request an investigation i should ask the company i have purchased from to do it. Later i am waiting for a parcel sent from Italy to UK - through a local courier company that works with UPS - but the parcel is again lost. They ask me for the reference number that i don't have as it was not provided by the local courier. then they ask the UPS account number of the local courier that is being used internally. I have given them my address but they can't locate it and they refused to try to help. particularly unhelpful and never is their Fault.
update: finally found it as i have requested the tracking number from the local courier. The problem for not delivering was that the company name was missing....but that would be consider normal as is residential address .......
I ordered an item of Adidas (who for the record have been awesome) Sat in all day awaiting the arrival of my parce , no parcel arrived. Looked online and it said delivered. Now I dont know if you have looked at delivery details off UPS but instead of actual information it will just say delivered chadderton no actual address so barring being able to have stalked the driver you now have no idea where the parcel is. I contacted Ups about it and lets just say next time ill save myself the cash and go and talk to a lamp post. Adidas went out of their way to get my parcel to me even to discovering where it had been delivered to and giving me another item as a sorry. Unfortunately the item was ordered for an event 2 days after the order was placed, the item was finally discovered 8 days after initial delivery date. Ups have sinced apoligised perfusely especially after I mocked up a invoice for the hours I had taken ( and yes hours) to find this parcel and costs incurred tryingto find it.
Needless to say they didnt go to the wrong address again.
This company don't care how much time you waste waiting for them they send emails saying they are going to deliver to you and then say sorry haven't got the parcel didn't collect it. They think sorry repairs everything I wonder If I say sorry I wont have to pay them because they have no consideration for your time or money incompetent don't come close rude and all the time they charge you on their 0844 telephone line you pay when they make mistakes
Had a package being delivered today, was in the whole day, person who sent the package to me said it mad been marked as "Signed for" by someone other than me, did a little search to find the package to find it outside the front door opened and the item inside stolen, no note through my letterbox about it being left there and no attempt to notify me that they were outside waiting.
Unacceptable behaviour, extremely disappointed would avoid UPS at all costs based on this.,
There is no communication between the seller and UPS regarding substantial custom charges that have already been paid for by the store - Parcel going back and forth to the depot with the customer caught in the middle -UPS demanding hundreds of pounds despite this being prepaid with store..
On Thursday I have bought an item online that I needed urgently on Monday. Seller has kindly offered to send it by courier to ensure that I do received it on time. I have taken day of on Monday and waited for delivery that never arrived. Tracking information on UPS website kindly informed me that I was unavailable for delivery ???? and next scheduled delivery is on Thursday..... Ok, I took day of on Thursday again and waited for delivery. I even contacted customer service to ensure that they do deliver. They have assured me I will receive my package by 6:30 pm... Well, I did not received it. Checked Tracking information on website and it said it will be delivered next business day, Friday.I called up customer service again and was assured someone will call me first thing in the morning to discuss this... I have no use of discussion. I needed delivery on Monday, not Friday ( if it arrives tomorrow). . Any purchases I make online in future I will request to be send via Fedex instead, as obviously UPS has no control over their own business.
I have many parcels delivered by this company and never a problem. THE ITEM ARRIVES ON TIME this is very helpful to so I can plan my times for my orders. Well done UPS and most importantly the guy's who deliver.
Tues 1st Oct 2013 at 13.55 I have just had my third delivery by UPS messed up and delivered to an incorrect address. It seems they cannot read nor can they use a Satnav nor can they ask a person where an address is when they cant find it. The latest error by them is a second attempt to deliver a package to me but delivering to the wrong place and getting it signed for by the wrong person too. I have been waiting in now for 2 days and made several calls and been watching their tracker. They are useless and i will never send anything by them. I will always ask for another courier when purchasing anything too. They cant be trusted. 0/10 is my view of them. Tracker no is 1ZW102556853377900
