i had purchased a shower seat eleswhere and it came in damaged so i contacted the seller and i would not have recieved another in time for the remodel finish so i searched and found a really nice seat on Hudson Reed and they came through i recieved seat the day before remodlel was complete . Could not believe how quickly our order arrived - UK to SE Idaho in about 4 days!
Did find that the shipping box had taken a bit of a beating on the way, which resulted in a couple of chips in the enamel on one of the radiators. These can be directed toward the wall so no worries.
I bought a shower seat from Hudson Reed USA. Turns out it was a foreign transaction and my bank charged me $6.00 extra. It would have been nice if I had known, as it doesn't appear that they are an non-usa company. OK, that said, the shower seat is pretty good looking. It was shipped quickly, and packed well. The screws that came with it -- one of them broke as I screwed it in, and two stripped -- they're not the strongest screws on the block. They're not the worst, either. If you're looking for a decent looking shower seat at a decent price, I'd go with them again, and plan on the $6.00 fee being added, and get some stronger screws.
I am very happy with the shower, it is a little noisy, if I had to really look for a problem that's all I could really say. It has been 1 year since I had the shower unit installed and I am still very happy I found your company. The glass shelf fell and broke in the shower. I guess it wasn't installed properly, or it this a problem that you have had with other shower units? Is there a way to get another one to replace it?
I ordered a modern shower bench from this company. I received it two days later. It required assembly. The instructions were obviously written by someone who knows very little about speaking English, and were actually pretty hilarious they were so bad. Fortunately, the assembly was easy to figure out.
Great products, very good price. A few quirky cheap accesory items included that the plumber changed out such as plastic mount for shower hand held holder and back metal plates for spray jets that didn't fit but overall excellent product.
I had one damaged water valve that I needed to replace. Customer service was terrible.
If you wanted to replace one part of the entire shower unit they wanted the whole unit sent back which was impossible when half of the system was already installed. Then they wanted pictures of the broken part. Customer service was also not familiar with internal parts to help me with broken part.
It was also hard to understand their heavy English accents for this Texas man!
Products and looks of products are fantastic though.
Our order for a shower tower was received in a timely manner, opened to determine whether it is the item we ordered and placed in storage until the licensed contractor installs and tests same later this year.
The aluminum structure with chrome metal features should meet and exceed the performance of its nearest completion by roughly 50% in price; but the final evaluation based on installation testing and actual use is months away.
Service sucks for a multiple return customer
I needed and ordered an external shower valve and decided to add a shower riser and shower head to the order, It became a "bundled" order. I am satisfied with the valve but the riser and shower head did not work with the configuration of my existing system. In trying to return these parts I was declined as it was considered a bundle and would have to return the entire order to receive a refund - the valve already installed made this impossible. Very rigid in their approach. Either ensure your do not have bundled orders or do not order form this company
Hudson Reed is extremely easy to order from but unfortunately they plumb differently than we do. I ordered a triple valve 6 body jets 8 1/2 rain head and hand sprayer. The body jets are flush mount female and have NPT straight threads with a rubber washer inside like your garden hose. You say what's the matter with that ? Ask your plumber how's he going to hook it up ? They don't use tapered NPT so you can't just thread a tapered pipe into it properly but I'm sure if you buy it and the plumber has no liability then oh well. The shower neck pipe come's with an adapter that is actually tapered NPT. That is the only tapered NPT you get . The problem with the shower head is you have to clamp it to the wall so that means opening up the wall in the other room. Ops, move the kids stuff. Next is the valve itself , they give you 3/4" to 1/2" adapters, when your running to different items at a time you don't plumb down in size. The fittings they supply are straight NPT and fit loose in the valve. They also leaked. Hudson Reed was kind enough to send me a new Valve as I was past my 30 day refund. The adapters they give you are also straight NPT apparently the Brits have low water pressure, when I told them I had 50-60 pounds they said I had high water pressure. You can tighten a tapered NPT on to the valve adapters but I'm not sure that it's proper. I'll stop now because I could go on and on about their great hang-up tech service to the quality tech e-mails. The fact is they look nice they feel nice they're easy to order but the plumber will cost you dearly. Sorry to say but stay away from the Hudson Reed brand.
I was searching for shower fixtures and found this site. I ordered a top level fixture for a great price. It arrived in a timely manner, in perfect condition and exceeded my expectations. My husband is a ex plumber so he is very picky about quality and ease of installation and use and he is just raving! I cant wait for the few more days until the bathroom remodel is done and I can use my new shower.

Though this product has not yet been installed I am impressed with the quality of the product. The packaging is another issue. All the products came in on record time but, three of the four packages were damaged and the products inside had various amounts of damage.
I wanted a traditional-looking bathroom, and there were few options when it came to exposed plumbing hardware. I found Hudson Reed online, took a chance, and have never looked back. Well, I look back - I do that before changing lanes in my car. But I've never regretted purchasing from Hudson Reed. The shower is so amazing, I ended up ordering the accessories to compliment it, and I am now ditching my uninstalled basin faucet for a Hudson Reed unit (I bought the first faucet before I was aware of the awesomeness of Hudson Reed).
One little bone to pick - they have a lovely basin faucet (BC307) that is only available in the UK. But who has two thumbs and found a US company with it? This guy. I ordered it and I'm hoping that everything goes smoothly since I couldn't order it from Hudson Reed directly. If you folks from HR are reading this - START MOVING THOSE UNITS OVER HERE. It matches the traditional shower systems flawlessly, and none of your other available units on the website coordinate.

My original review is below. After posting it, I was contacted by H-R who wanted to proactively replace my order - Free Of Charge! The replacement was shipped with much better packaging, like foam bumpers on the corners. This was an unexpected level of customer dedication. Sure, they got a better review (from a 4 to a 5), but I still got the better deal. ;-)
I'd ordered a hydronic towel warmer. It's beautiful and I can't wait for it to be installed. The order itself was painless and the delivery (international to the US) was incredibly quick. However, the packaging was never meant for shipping. All that beautiful chrome was shipped transatlantically in a simple cardboard box with out any cushion. By the time it had arrived the end pipes, now nicked and scratched, were poking through the box and the side was torn where the plastic strapping keeping the box closed had cut into it. Ultimately, the damage looks minimal enough that it doesn't warrant re-shipping expenses, but hopefully the plumber doesn't discover otherwise.
We purchased Chrome Wall Mounted Shower system. This item was shipped very fast, & was well packaged. It included everything needed for our plumber to install...After installing, our plumber stated this was the best quality shower system he had ever seen. We just remodled the kitchen prior the the Master Bath and wish I would have ordered more products from Hudson Reed....
I would give them 10 STARS....If in the furture we need fixtures I would definitely use Hudson Reed.

Worst on line purchase experience I have had. Order a radiator $500, the shipment was held up in customs for over a week due to the commercial invoice showed the wrong $ value. Hudson claimed they sent the correct info, two days later still held. I called fedex and they reported hudson still sent the wrong info. This went on for several days until it finally got released. Packaged arrived damaged and open box. Radiator inside was damaged, paint chipped off and threads damaged. Hudson offered to ship a new one, however I had to ship back the damaged one in original carton which was distroyed and unusable. After two weeks I gave up. Buy local.
After needing a replacement for my hand held shower head, I tried ordering one through the company. I was sad to see they no longer carried the finish I needed, brushed nickle, but I did want the same shower head. I really like the quick release from the water supply to drain the line. The photo on the web site showed the identical unit, so I ordered it. Much to my surprise, it wasn't what I received. It was a standard screw on shower head. I was pretty upset, having paid twice what I would have had I bought the same thing locally, so I called. Hudson Reed was very receptive and after sending them a picture of what the shipped me, they fully refunded my payment. Too bad they got rid of that style, it was great. I was told they would fix the web site.
The product purchase was reasonably priced it is of very high quality and it was in stock and I received it within one week. The problem was they never sent me an email with the order number or shipping information like the website I ordered from said they would so there was no confirmation that an order was place except when I checked they had charged my credit card
The chrome radiator/towel warmer was a last minute decision to my master bath remodel, but has become the focal point of everyone that sees the room. Everyone loves it. It arrived shipped in perfect condition in two days and my builder installed it easily and said it was a great little unit. Thanks Hudson Reed!
Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. I am frustrated with the lack of communication about my orginal order, however; the item was discontinued, but on the Hudson & Reed website and many other sites, the item looked and stated it was in stock. I waited 1 week for my package and nothing came; package or email. I am remodeling, so this was an issue, as it held up my progress. I emailed and received a reply the next day (great quick reply!) stating that it was discontinued. Great customer service, however, as the refund was applied immediately. I still needed the item I had bought, so I picked a different one. Again, great customer service, as they expedited the shipping for free. However, if I hadn't emailed, who knows how long it would have been before someone told me it was discontinued!
I have been going back and forth with Hudson reed for months regarding a faulty shower head, the 12" Sunflower shower head to be exact. After months of horrible customer service and getting no where with these people I had to purchase a new one. Way to stand behind the 10 yr warrantee! Then I leave a bad review on this website and they responded to my review saying it wasn't their problem basically. Then almost 3 weeks later I get the following email:

To me that looks like a clear bribe to get me to leave a good review for Hudson Reed. Don't trust the reviews you read on here if they are good, you never know what that customer was given to say something nice. Horrible company, horrible customer service, horrible products!! They need to be shut down! Commercial gesture?? Screw you! What about the damn 10 warrantee listed?! Or standing behind your product for that matter?
I purchased a hydronic towel warmer from Hudsonreed and paid through Paypal. Their employees wrote me and told me that they never received my payment. I was also told they were having an internal problem with tracking other clients' payments. I confirmed with Paypal and they assured me that the payment went to [external reference removed] a subsidiary of Hudsonreed. I really needed the warmer but the Hudsonreed employees kept telling me that that did not receive my payment. Anyway, 10 days later Paypal refunded my money. My experience was horrible and I still have to find a towel warmer - just lost 10 days.

I purchased a shower panel a year ago from HudsonReed. Suddenly turning the water on I've heard some "puh" sound and the water had started running over the shower head. It looks like the sealer that keeps together soft part and hard part of the shower head gets broken. I called the Company because they provide 10 years warranty on their products. I got the response immediately and was told that the broken part was sent out. In a few days I've received some strange piece of hardware which doesn't seem to look like a shower head. I started calling Company again, sent a few e-mails, etc. and in a few days I receive a confirmation that the shower head was sent to me. Right now I'm waiting for delivery. Overall, I'm glad that the Company keeps its promises but I took one star off because of miss-communication taking place.
