Great service,and good product
Purchased a IBM Think Pad from the Company to replace my ailing laptop.Very clean and good value for the price,a good all round second laptop.
It arrived when they said it would,and I was kept informed of the despatch all the way.
Would use them again.

Great value for money
I have bought this laptop for my son's Christmas present, on setting it up all seems to be in order, just a few minor scratches on the lis, which is totally acceptable. When I made a mistake with the set up, I phoned value computers and they were very helpful. It has not been fully used yet, so can't make a comment on any other performance issues yet

i've just purchased a reconditioned laptop from here & im over the moon with it , the laptop itself is in very good condition ( only a couple of minor marks ) & works perfectly & will make a great gift for my 12yrs old daughter for christmas , the service i recieved was first class & the laptop arrived before the estimated time , i would recommend this company to everyone , very very impressed

Kept fully informed throughout
I purchased a laptop as a gift so I cannot really review the product as much as the service.
Throughout, I was kept fully informed. I received an email to confirm the date of delivery and then a further email to confirm the time of delivery between one hour. I found this extremely helpful.
I would not hesitate to use valu computers again.

Laptop good as new!
You're always taking a chance when buying online, especially buying secondhand/refurbished but I have to say that I'm glad I did. The laptop was in brilliant condition. It hardly looked used!
One tip for buyers... I went on the Dell website and entered the service tag on the label under the laptop to update drivers. It's good because I had to install drivers for the touchpad. All is now working perfectly.

Very trustworthy honest seller
1st time I've ever used val-u-computers. Was very happy with the service. Delivery was very fast and they keep you up to date on the time it's coming. Very pleased with my laptop. Bought it for my son for Xmas. I have the peace of mind that the guarantee won't start until Xmas day. Would definitely recommend to a friend

So far so good :)
I have purchased two Dell laptops for Christmas presents. Extremely good price. Ordering was simple and delivery very good, sms and email received on day of delivery and an hour slot so no waiting in all day. Once out the box you wouldnt even know they are not brand new, not a mark on them. Wont be used until Christmas day but so far so good.

Well done valuecomputers
The good thing I liked on valuecomputers is their honesty in serving their customers. I received a laptop from them with a reasonable price. When I started using it, I found that the battery was faulty. I informed them about the problem and they replied immediately by email promising to send a new battery. I waited for few days and I received a new battery. The laptop performance improved a lot after fitting the new battery. In general, their service is quite good, because if you have any problem with your device they respond immediately to support you.
I do recommend valuecomputers to any person who is looking for quick and honest service.

Its the second time I have used Val u computers.The unit arrived promptly and I was kept up to date with its order tracking with regular emails.
The laptop was at a price that was hard to refuse.My daughter had used up all the memory on her old laptop,and really for the price of some external space,I decided to go ahead and buy her this model,"Dell Latitude".She already had a similar machine so knows her way around it well.
These are great machines at great value,I would always recommend VAL-U.
Also great after sales service if you get any probs.

Recent Purchase.
Recently purchased a laptop for my daughter from valu-computers.
This was my first dealings with the company and I would recommend them to all.
Very informative and constant e-mails as the position of my order. (Excellent service)
Only problem with computer was the keyboard had been fitted wrong, no drama easy enough to sort.
Would happily use again.

Dirty computer
I bought a laptop for my son.
Problem 1:-
PSU lead was damaged and val-u-computers sent a new one.
Problem 2:-
Computer was dirty, lots of crumbs in battery compartment and in keyboard.
Obviously the computers stated as grade A are not being inspected correctly before shipping.
Result :-
Will not use val-u-computers again.

If a laptop is sent out which has been not cleaned to our customer's satisfaction or has a fault on arrival we will send a replacement ASAP and collect the original laptop. We are constantly reviewing our procedures to ensure that these issues are few and far between.

Good service & an accurately described product
The second-user laptop ordered was delivered promptly and at the time slot estimated by the courier company. Their description was honest in that some superficial cosmetic damage was accurately stated. Good value for money as represented by their trading title!

A thoroughly good experience
Ordered, delivered and in use within five days. There was a problem with downloading Internet Explorer, but I think that was more to do with IE than the computer.

Delivery as specified. Shabby job of refurb
Delivery service was good.
But mouse button on the computer didn't work and second time I booted it up got a Media error. And constantly from then on.
Fortunately my needs for the PC are very limited so I'll live with it.
So overall their quality control lets them down. I'd think carefully about how many times I want to return a unit before buying.

Inevitably when you sell hundreds of laptops every year there will be a small percentage which have a problem which has been missed during the extensive tests. In these circumstances we think it is unfair that a customer has to pay to return the product or have to wait long to get the problem resolved so we send a replacement laptop free of charge as soon as possible.
We are trying to get in contact with Andrew now to try to resolve his issue quickly for him. We don't want customers to "live with it".

Simple website, easy to order, fast delivery, good computer!
Everything is very good and as expected. Computer was ready to go with some nice little instructions for you. The only slightly negative thing I could say is that the Bulldog trial they had prepared on the computer needed a password which I wasn't given, but to be fair if I rung them up they'd probably tell me what to do I just haven't got round to it yet! Otherwise very happy :-)
