If you are still considering to do the business with ValueBasket please read the reviews placed by others. These are like twins. Here is my story. The phone was ordered 4/07/2013 (with "in stock" note next to the listed item), and my bank account was charged immediately. Than the order was delayed for a ridiculous excuses like "re-stocking" (with this phone still showed as "in stock" for newcomers) and "order backlog", until 17/07/2013 (9th business day, order still in "backlog"). When I cancelled it and new saga began. They would say that refund "from their side" should take 2-5 business days. This is not true. It is 7th business day now and my refund request is still "will be processed". Yes, their responses are polite. They will never run out of excuses. But do not let yourselves to be fooled. They will take your money and use them for some business (I suspect) not quite related to the selling the electronics. I wonder who are these 'happy customers" leaving good feedback on other sites. By the way, while still struggling with notorious ValueBasket, few days ago I got the same phone for the same price from other online retailer with better reputation and attitude.
Apologies for the inconvenience caused. We are experiencing some backlog at this critical stage caused in part due to the increasing number of sales. We appreciate the transparency of information is somewhat unclear at times and we are working out a more cohesive tracking system so that any potential delayed orders are picked up and proactively communicated to customers.
