Never, under any circumstances, use this firm for anything. I ordered a camera on the strength of reviews that said they delivered quickly and they instantly took the money off my debit card without dispatching the goods. I believe that action is illegal. They have consistently fobbed me off with what are now clearly stock responses and have made no effort to return my money. The level of service would genuinely embarrass an internet fraudster who was ACTUALLY stealing my money. I would have gone for the 2 star button but the form nature of the response and the clear intent to hold MY money as long as possible merits only 1 star. I have extensive e-mail trails to prove what I say is true. They may deliver something on time but I doubt it. I am mainly angry with myself for falling for it. I am nearly £900 down. Don't be next.

Let me just add the comment from the company on this and every other review also seems to be a stock response. Big of them to return my money when they should never have taken it in the first place.

Ordered a go pro on the 11th April 2013 showing plenty in stock, called a few days later to check how delivery was getting on and was told to check their website, not very helpful, left it the weekend called back today was told they weren't sure when the camera was going to be shipped, I asked where it was coming from, they couldn't tell me, asked who I was talking to and where? Hong Kong?? Although I phoned the number for the Great Britain contact on their website! Lost patience by then! Took as many details as I could reported to trading standards and contacted my bank informing them that the transaction was fraudulent. Stay away from this company!

Ordered and paid for a Sony bridge camera on the 18th March, to date i have received nothing!.......Customer service is shocking, they just repeat from a book they all say the same thing.
They will not give you an actual delivery date..I have now tried to cancel this order and it seems they are saying it will be delivered this week, but it has not been shipped as yet.!!!!!!!!!!
think it is all a scam to bank customers money. Now i will need to try and get my money back...saved for months for this camera!!!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE...PAY A BIT EXTRA AND BUY FROM THE UK

Looking for a very specific purchase (black cookoo watch) that wasn't available on my trusted Amazon, I did a Google shopping search for said item and ValueBasket came up trumps. Ordered the product from the website which all seemed fine and painless like I'd expect. However, tried to change the delivery address and couldn't so ordered it then called to as it be changed; this turned out to be a painful experience, and I ultimately gave up. Then having received no update on where my product was for a working week, I logged in to find the delivery status was ON HOLD, I called customer service and they told me the account was on hold due to the request to deliver to another address. I said that I had explained that, due to their ridiculous policy, I had confirmed I would accept delivery to home. Now I've wasted a week. Surely the request for delivery to people's work addresses is pretty normal? Sorry that I have to, like lots of normal people, work for a living, and can't justify staying in all day on the off chance I might have something to delivered to my house during the working day!
Come on, get your act together ValueBasket and get my gadget to me pronto!
Following the above, I'm now told I cannot have the product, except in a colour I don't want.
I've had enough! Let's see if cancelling my order is as difficult!

I am actually surprised to read all of these reviews about Valuebasket being slow in delivery.
I placed my order on 8 April 2013 and right after payment, I read that delivery will only happen within 5-7 days, which was weird for me because I saw from the website that it represented to be 3-5 business days.
Knowing that the camera will not arrive in time for me (I needed it on 12 April 2013 for a friend's bday present), I proceed to cancel my order. I send in the ticket and they replied me telling me that it is at verification stage and there is nothing that they can do but once it has been verified, they will proceed with the cancellation.
I checked on my order today and saw that the status is 'allocated and will be shipped'.
I was shocked because I specifically send them a request to cancel my order. Even veluebasket own website gave me instructions on how to do that and I followed. So I wrote to them again on this. The customer service officer even dared to reply me telling me that it has been upgraded to express delivery and cancellation could not be done anymore.
I was really unhappy and this goes to prove how bad their customer service is, They promised and said it will be cancelled but it did not happen. It even amazed me that there are so many reviews about delay in delivery. What an irony. I do not want them to deliver and yet they are trying their best to deliver it to me.
I hope anyone who is reading this will be extra careful when you decide to buy from valuebasket because if anything happens, their customer service is there but hey, they do nothing.

I really don't understand the business model of valuebasket.com. It is a basket case of misinformation and misleading website.
Communication is polite and timely but there is no commitment to actually deliver.
I've been waiting a month for delivery and am still non the wiser. They brush away any complaint or request for info with stock replies and meaningless rhetoric.
Is it some elaborate scam, trying to keep hold of customers cash for as long as possible?
Utterly bizarre.
I can't these guys will be around long...they certainly don't deserve to be.
In the end I bought my Sony HX200V from procamerashop.co.uk for virtually the same price and got it next day. Thanks guys :)

The response below just serves to confirm the modus operandi of valuebasket.com. I suspect they'll still be using the Easter excuse next Christmas!

The price looks great, but you are much better off paying a bit more to actually get your order. Quick to take your money, slow to non-existent in their delivery.
I have waited over three weeks (not including weekends and holidays) for my order, which I require for a trip in one weeks time. I can guarantee it won't be delivered in that time - however I have no time left to cancel and replace the order - so i'm stuck hoping for a miracle. Thanks for that value basket - you have ruined an opportunity for me to document an incredibly important trip.
Their Customer service gives you the same story each time 'high demand etc' which is clearly a load of rubbish. Their website by the way, still shows that stock is available - so be warned, apparently it is not.
Go with someone else, these guys are awful - I'd love to give more of a review about the product; however , as I don have this I am unable to do so.

J'ai effectué une commande sur leur site et après m'avoir confirmer que la commande était bien passer je reçois un mail me demandant des justificatifs afin de vérifié mon identité ==> justificatif de domicile ainsi que pièce d'identité .
Après leur avoir fait parvenir ces justificatifs, je reçois un nouveau mail m'indiquant que qu'ils annule ma commande.
Mais avant ça il ont bel et bien débité mon compte bancaire et j'attend encore mon remboursement après déjà 1 semaine.
Malgrès plusieurs demande sur leur site concernant ce remboursement non effectué, je reçois toujours la même réponse ==> Veuillez vous adressez à votre banque.
Je déconseille fortement d'effectuer quelques commande que ce soit sur ce site.
Il est inadmissible de voir que des site comme celui ci existent.

I purchased a camera worth almost $2000. I emailed two weeks later asking where it was, it had not been shipped yet. They offered a free $20 cleaning kit and said they would have it delivered in 7 days. 2 weeks later I email again seeking the whereabouts of my camera, it had not been sent, apparently they had been waiting for me to send an email to confirm that I would accept the free gift, so I emailed accepting. A week later my order had still not been shipped, and I again had to email to find out. They told me they were out of stock and I would have to wait until the next shipment came in. It was at this point I cancelled my order and sought the camera elsewhere. Very disappointed!!!

J'ai eu mon appareil photo une semaine après la commande, (sachant que je l'avais commandé un samedi où le lundi suivant était férié) et l'ai reçu juste avant de partir en voyage. Très bon service, même si le suivi était je trouve plutôt faible (je ne pouvais qu'attendre les mails que l'on m'envoyait). Mais bon, je trouve déjà très bien que l'on ne soit pas obligés de s'inscrire sur le site pour y commander.
I ordered a Ipad mini on 19th March, within couple of days the status changed to "Your order is being made ready" - been there since almost 3 weeks.

I ordered a Galaxy Note 2 LTE on 14th March, within couple of days its status changed to "Your order is being made ready" - been there ever since (over 2 weeks on). I have spoken twice and given same response - heavy demand is delaying despatch from their warehouse BUT several people here report receipt within few days of order - so that seems odd unless my order is less important despite it being in stock. They promised me last week that it would be sent before end of that week, but today stated will sent by end of next week using expedited delivery in view of delay (3 days is not expedited in my book as that puts 'expected' delivery to about 16th April). In other words they are saying delivery will take one whole month from order despite being in stock? Their excuse is that the warehouse is too busy to have sent phone for over 3 weeks - doesn't smell right - personally I would avoid this seller in future.

I ordered an ASUS VIVO Tab, WIFI & 3G - was looking for ages for one and saved up to spend the £600. Ordered on 17th March - spoke to them on 28th March and they confirmed that due to Easter break it wouldnt be delivered within their 10day target. I accept this but when I ordered there was 6 instock, and so I was expecting that by today 2nd April would get the email regarding delivery - nothing all day, tried to call them and phone line cant be connected, and no way to email them - very unhappy as they have £600 of my money and I dont know what is happening, I go to China on 13th April and I'd hoped I would be well aquainted with it - currently Im not sure if i will even get it! - VERY VERY UNHAPPY

I placed order 21st March, it didn't change from order placed to being handled until 27th March. 1st of April still order being handled so I chased it, to be told due to over demand that it would not be shipped until next week.
At the point I ordered it showed 6 in stock, then during this period it went up to 11 now it's at 4.
At no point was I advised of the delay until I queried order status.
So I asked for order to be cancelled, which they did but it would take 7 working days for refund to show on credit card. I won't be ordering through them ever again and I'd recommend no-one else does.
The only upside was service centre was quick to reply to when contacted.

Placed my order for a Go Pro camera on 17th March - Value Basket had stock so I expected deliveriy in a week or so. After a week I sent an email to find out what was going on as my order had not been dispatched.
Another week has gone my and there is still no change to my order status.
Do not use this company they are a waste if time and tell you lies.

I originally ordered my Asus transformer Tablet through this company. Although listed as in stock the delivery was slow as the item was not in stock.
The item turned up broken. Six weeks later i am still getting the run around 'saying they are waiting from an update from the returns department.
I am about to commence legal action against this company to recover my funds
In a few words .....look elsewhere for whatever it is your buying there are more honest companies out there

The price was the best, unfortunately despite showing ample stock on the web-site the delivery kept being pushed back. Despite despatch promise of 3-5 days and delivery 7-10 days after 2 weeks I cancelled my order after being told it would not be despatched for another week. I ran out of patience.

Purchased my item on a thursday night, it arrived at my doorstep monday morning! I could not be happier! May I add this was coming from Hong Kong to Melbourne Australia! Completely satisfied with my purchase! The items are genuine! I even registered my product on the manufactures website and everything cleared as being a genuine product!

Ordered a Tascam digital audio recorder on March 3rd 2013. Required for March 21st gig. Ordered was confirmed. I received a couple of emails asking me to review the product but hadn't received it yet. No other communication. On March 14th I checked my order on-line to see that it was "Processing". Contacted them via email and they apologised for slow despatch and upgraded me to fast delivery. March 19th, still no item and order still says "Processing". Another email request and I again they apologise and say they will upgrade me to fast delivery??? Hadn't even been sent yet. I cancelled order, jumped on a bus to city centre and paid an extra 20euro for one...in my hand...from a local business. Well worth it.
Haven't checked to see if I have been charged by them yet, awaiting their response. I don't recommend Valuebasket.

I had a few doubts when I read some reviews but my experience was nothing but positive. My order (for a mobile phone) was upgraded to priority despatch and I received the goods within a week. At all stages of the purchase I was updated via email and I would have no hesitation in recommending Value Basket.
The item I received was a great price, well packaged, and arrived to Australia in less than a week. The communications were clear and professional as was the service. I would have no hesitation shopping with them again and recommending them to friends.

I had done quite a lot of searching for the lowest price on the internet for my Samsung NX1000 camera.
No one else came close to the price offered by Valuebasket and to make the deal even sweeter, they also gave me free express shipping with a tracking number.
I received my camera within 3 business days of placing the order for it.
I couldn`t ask for anything more....very happy with my purchase and Valuebasket.
I stayed in UK for 1 month as a tourist and I was looking for the new Xperia Z purple color unlocked but I had no luck to buy it from O2 shops cause purple color was exclusive to O2 and they were selling it locked to their network, until I gave up and decided to buy it online. Fortunately there was one website which is ValueBasket offering Xperia Z purple unlocked. I decided to take a risk with a 530 pound and buy the phone from a not well known website and after just 10 days I was playing with the phone...I've got a nice experience dealing with these guys....so it's your call people.
This is the third purchase I have made through valuebasket.com, each time the item has been delivered ahead of my expectation and communication was spot on! your website is useless after purchasing is done. Just do a NZ courrier website and let us track it our selfs. As i said before you sites package tracking is useless.

I ordered a Nikon Coolpix P510 from Valuebasket, the colour I wanted was out of stock but Valuebasket emailed me to let me know my options and then they sent me the chosen camera by express delivery free of charge as I needed the camera for a holiday. They were very quick to reply to my emails and gave me great customer service.

Like many others I was nervous about ordering from this company. However, I ordered on a Sunday evening. My product was shipped from Hong Kong on the Tuesday and delivered to me on the Thursday.
Unbelievably good service!
