not ideal
Couldn't process the order online, so phoned. I was told there was nothing wrong their end, it must be my browser, and they wouldn't take orders over £200. Tried another browser, same result, tried saving as a quote (after creating account) and save failed.
Phoned again and more helpful, but still not resolved, and password for account emailed back to me in PLAIN TEXT. Which means as well as sending over insecure email, it is also saved on their server in plain text. Nice security.

Good Service!
First time i used WAE+ and I was surprised at how cheap everything was. They were cheaper than a lot of the bigger, more well known websites and i will be buying from them again.

Great prices - but you've got to find them !
Recently purchased some hard drives from this company, when I searched for the drives there was actually two versions of the same drive on their site. Despite having the same model code etc one was priced significantly higher than the other, I suspect this is just an old price and a small oversight (understandable given their vast number of products) but worthwhile doing another search on the site once you have the model number of the item you wish to purchase.
Awaiting receipt of items but so far happy with the experience.

Good prices, bad delivery options
I've not yet received my order, so I'm writing in terms of the experience shopping on the website.
I came across WAE+ whilst doing a bit of price comparison for a new system build. I won't usually switch to a new company just to save a couple of quid, but the savings here are quite significant compared to the likes of Amazon & eBuyer.
What I was disappointed with however, it the lack of decent delivery options.
I paid extra for 'Express shipping'. In this instance, 'express' means 6-8 working days!!
That doesn't sound very express to me. The standard shipping was even longer, and not much cheaper either!
Frankly, in this day and age I can't imagine a scenario where an online store shouldn't be able to ship 95% of their range within 24-48 hours.
As it happens, I had a couple of bits I needed from China for this build, so I can afford to wait it out, but under normal circumstances their shipping time would be a dealbreaker.
The site itself is easy to use and I didn't really have any issues during the checkout process, although I chose to checkout as a guest (excellent) and their system automatically signed me up after the fact. Not as bad as forcing me to sign up manually though and they didn't require me to save my card details, which is nice.

Great price; poor availability updates; longer lead time than quoted; wrong product in package
Ok, so best price on the internet for what I wanted, so great. But once ordered, no dispatch notification for nearly a week - delivery quoted as 1-3 days! Had to make three phone calls - first one saying "dispatching tomorrow" - didn't happen. Second saying "some technical issues" and no update. Third call - will be with me by Friday. All a bit woolly. When it finally arrived, although the packaging was correct, the physical product inside wasn't the correct one - had to order one from Germany as much higher cost, but at least it was with me in 2 days flat. All in all, not great. But efficient returns policy and comms around this.

Just what the doctor ordered !
My daughters a medical student and wanted some index cards to help with her studies, after looking on the internet for a while I came across this website and found exactly what I was looking for. The cost was definitely in her student budget, and less than half the price of anywhere else. I will definitely be using this website again.

Very delayed delivery on 'stock item', no reasonable explanation given.
Ordered an item as price was best on the internet. Selected 1-3 day delivery. Item showed as being in stock. 7 days later no item and no contact from wae+. Called them to find out what was going on and just told that will be probably sent today (wed) and to expect item by the monday. Unacceptable on what is supposed to be a stock item. Will not purchase from wae+ in the future.

Delivery wait is too long.
I ordered on the 8th and received on the 21st. this was the predicted delivery time. But I dont think this is good enough. It was a Birmingham to Birmingham delivery too. I can get stuff from China more quickly. I think a review of delivery is needed by the company. The laptop case I ordered was great and just what I needed. With better delivery it would have been perfect.

Lies lies and more lies
My items should have been with me more than a week ago. After the due date I emailed to ask where they were. The reply was an apology and a statement that they would look into it. My items still did not arrive so I emailed again. The reply was the same apology and a statement that they would look into it. My items still did not arrive so I emailed again. This time an apology and I was told they would be sent "next day" delivery. My items still have not arrived and I have just emailed again.
AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Appalling service
I placed my order because the item was in stock and delivery would be in 7 to 9 days. The website is still giving the same information but 2 weeks later I'm still waiting for delivery. I've emailed and phoned but they can give me no idea when I can expect delivery. The excuse is deliveries are delayed due to a technical glitch!!!!!!!! Not good enough.

Easy and simple to use with some reservations
Found this site selling what I wanted and ordered which was very simple. Be aware they obviously do not stock items advertised as Delivery times are excessive . In my case 8 to 10 days for something I could get quicker from China or the USA. Even their "Express" delivery is 5 to 7 days (comes by tortoise) That said postage charges reasonable but if you need anything urgent for business use check delivery
