Same story as everyone else. How I wish I'd looked at Trustpilot before ordering! The insolvency company letter says they want details of "any concerns regarding the way in which WAE's business has been conducted". I've just written to them with my story - I do suggest everyone else does the same. Let's get some action taken against this bunch!
Ordered item on 17/7/13.Lego wheels 6118 Product code 409167 £10.49 inc postage & packing. wae emailed to say they could not manage to complete order. Ordered item again on 24/7/13. e mailed wae on 31/7/13 to enquire were my item was. NO REPLY.
I Rang on 5/8/13 gentleman said he would get item dispatched no reason given for delay or apology. This was a Birthday present!
Today 22/8/13 I have received my credit card bill to find out WAE have take £10.49 0n 18/7/13 & £10.49 on 25/7/13

Went to order and completed order and website said item is out of stock so can't fulfil order so please reorder if you wish to have item. I didn't but they still took the money, I asked to get a refund and they said 5-10days. Emailed again today got a instant message obviously automated rubbish saying youll get it 30days. Which is a joke I paid £158 for a soundbar and I need the money its a large amount to wait for kids to feed and fuel to buy. I best get the money very worried after reading reviews..

These terms of sale apply to all goods supplied by WAE+ Ltd, whose registered office is at WAE+, 180 Newhall Street, Birmingham, B3 1SJ, (the "Supplier").
No contract exists between you and the Supplier for the sale of any goods until the Supplier has received and accepted your order and the Supplier has received payment in full (in cleared funds). Once the Supplier does so, there is a binding legal contract between the parties.
To clarify, your order is not accepted until you receive confirmation that your order status has changed to either "Awaiting Shipment", or "Items Allocated". It is at this point that a binding legal contract is created and any contract is subject to these Terms and Conditions.
The contract is subject to your right of cancellation (see below).
The Supplier may change these terms of sale without notice to you in relation to future sales.
To order goods through the WAE+ Ltd. Company website you must be at least 18 years of age. We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.
WAE+ Ltd gives no assurance as to the mutual compatibility of components sold on any single invoice. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the goods purchased are suitable for the purpose intended. Advice sought by the customer from the Company in this respect may be given but cannot be relied upon by the customer or guaranteed by the Company unless the Company has access to the working system and the ability to carry out a full inspection of any software or operating system.
Except as may be implied by law where the buyer is dealing as a consumer, in event of any breach of these Conditions by the Company the remedies of the buyer shall be limited to damages which shall in no circumstances exceed the price of the goods and the Company shall under no circumstances be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
These terms and conditions are subject only to UK law
Your right of cancellation
Provided you are not a Business Customer, you have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to the end of 14 working days after you receive the goods (see below).
To exercise your right of cancellation, you must give written notice to the Supplier by hand, post or via the contact us page, giving details of the goods ordered and (where appropriate) their delivery. Notification by phone is not sufficient.
Except in the case of faulty or misdescribed goods, if you exercise your right of cancellation after the goods have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning the goods to the Supplier at your own cost. The goods must be returned to the address shown within the Returns section of the website. You must take reasonable care to ensure the goods are not damaged in the meantime or in transit. In the case of faulty or misdescribed goods we shall, after receiving notification in accordance with clause 7.1 or 7.4, either collect the goods from you or ask you to return the goods yourself and possibly refund you the reasonable postage costs.

Once you confirm your order as correct a standard cancellation fee will be at the expense of the customer.
An order cancelled in transit will incur the standard cancellation fee plus additional transit costs at the expense of the customer.
In the event of an order returned due to non-delivery, the transit costs will be at the expense of the customer
If i don't receive Full refund for both orders within 3-5 working days i will press this on a court appearance for WAEplus

Nothing more frustrating than purchasing a product in good faith then waiting over 20 days to discover this seller never actually had to goods in the first place and can't actually get hold of them.
Surely its better long term business to show an out of stock banner ?
That way your potential customer can make the decision to move on and or come back later if they desire.
The way this company operates only leads to cheesed off customers especially when it takes customers services 17 minutes to actually answer a phone and deal with the issue

I will not use your company again so don't bother with the £5 credit. Can't believe you can't even despatch the order within a month when it should have been 7-10 days. Bad customer service too as you didn't keep me updated.

After placing an order on 3/7/13 & paying extra for next day delivery our product didn't turn up. After calling them the next day the delivery charge was refunded to our card & we were advised the product was out of stock but would be received shortly ... oh no it wasn't. Despite several phone calls and an email to Management the product still hasn't arrived as of 21/8/13. After a further call today, and not being able to speak to a Manager, we have cancelled the product with, hopefully, a full refund to our card! This is the worst service we have ever received - not a single communication from them to apologise or offer an alternative.
I would have given them -5 but wasn't given the option!! Needless to say we won't be using them again!!

I am sorry to say that the service that WAE + have given me has been diabolical. I placed an order on the 26th June 2013 for items that were showing in stock. I called and spoke to someone at the time, who confirmed that there were 12 units in stock, so I placed an order for 12 units and made a payment immediately.
Since then, the only communication we have had has been when we have chased the delivery. There has been no updates about the order at all, even though they have all our contact details (which are checked for SECURITY reasons every time I call).
I have today been told, after chasing again, that they can not supply these items and that the order will have to be cancelled. Furthermore, I will receive my refund within 30 days. This is TOTALLY unacceptable. When I placed the order for items that they had in stock, I was expected to pay immediately. Now, 2 months later, they want me to wait another month for a refund!!!!
I have waisted valuable time and effort chasing and chasing for 2 months now. Had I been aware that they could not supply, I would have made alternative arrangements 2 months ago. As it stands I have to now start the whole process again.
I have checked the item on their web site (item number 116147) which still shows as In Stock and they are taking orders for it. How is it that they can not supply to me???? Or is it the case that they are taking orders with payment, knowing that they can not supply, stringing people along for a couple of months and then taking another month to refund. This will mean a very healthy bank balance.
I am going to find out what Birmingham Trading Standards have to say about this situation. I have also reported this to BBC watchdog. I will also be using my Twitter and Facebook account to ensure as many people know about this scam as possible.
I placed an order and it was nice and easy but all through the delivery date there was no status update. On the last day when I called up the agent over the phone confirms the order has been delayed. As a customer am I not entitled to have this information before hand?? I have placed a cancellation request and now hoping to receive the funds in (hopefully) 30 days!!!!
ordered a samsung television for just under £500 on july 15th 2013 after five weeks and several emails and phone calls was told on 20th august delivery would be another 2 weeks throughout this time their website was showing the item as being in stock. their warehouse is in europe somewhere they are not in the uk . i would not recommend them or use them again buyer beware
Ordered a harddrive from them with a 6-8 day delivery on 2nd July. Every email I recieved back from them was standard and saying it would be with me in 6-8 working days. A month and a half later I have cancelled my order and been advised refund wil be in 30 days. I dont really even believe they will give me a refund but we'll have to wait and see.
Find another site, pay the extra money it will be worth it just to have your item arrive on time. I only gave them one star because there is no option to give them none.

I've just been on the phone for about the 5th time with WAE+, and after being fobbed off with yet another excuse about why I have no refund 40 days after cancellation (this time I was informed 'there must be a technical error, it's ONLY £83.47), I've reported them to everyone I can think of.
It may ONLY be £83.47 to them (since they make so much money on the backs of customers like me) but it's MY £83.47.
I asked to speak to a manager / supervisor as I informed I would be taking action and wanted to speak to someone higher up, but there was nobody else I could talk to, I was given the usual email@example.com email address that others have been given, and have not received replies from.
DO NOT USE. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE YOUR GOODS, AND IF YOU DO MANAGE TO GET A REFUND WHEN THEY CAN'T DELIVER, BE PREPARED TO WAIT MONTHS FOR IT.
*ANY* positive reviews on here are either fake, or from people leaving positive reviews having just placed an order 'easily', without having received their goods. You will also see that WAE+ are now reporting loads of 1* reviews for being suspicious. Might have something to do with the fact I have not found ONE happy customer, but have several friends who have also been scammed by them!
Since I assume I will not be seeing my money again, I feel my only option is to have £83.47 worth of vengeance, so am reporting them to anyone and everyone who will listen, in the hope that others will not be conned by them.
WAE+ took my money just two days after placing the order.
Then two weeks later they told me that they could no longer supply the MP3 that I had ordered, and i am still waiting for my £47.71 to be refunded. Yes that's right, they said they would give me a refund, however i am still waiting

I ordered a mobile phone on the 28th of June and was informed that it will be delivered in 12 working days. Contacted the company on the 26th of July and was informed that the order will be fulfilled shortly. I did not get an communication what so ever and today is the 20th of August and I still have not got my mobile phone. I called the company to talk to a manager but I was advised that the managers do not take phone calls. The company has a call centre in India and you will have to send the manager an email. You do not get any response once you send the email.
I would advise you not to use this company because it is a scam and a rip off.

I decided to by an E-reader from WAE+ as the price was very competitive. I was told it would take 2 weeks for delivery which was fine. Having heard nothing on the 14th day I called them up to be told they were out of stock and it would be a further 2 weeks. I decided for the saving this was too long so cancelled and asked for a refund. I was told this would be dealt with. I did not hear anything and so chased it up only to be told they need my bank details. This was the first time such a request had been made. I have since sent several messages and 30 days on I am still waiting for this elusive refund email. I think it's a disgrace that when people are looking to make savings and cuts companies can act in such appalling ways with no respect for the customer or their financial situation.I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY EVEN IF THEY WERE THE LAST WHOLESELLER ON THE PLANET. I ordered this product (amd fx8350 processor) on the 30th of June, after waiting 2 weeks for it to be delivered - which it wasn't I was informed that it was out of stock and they would not get any more in so I could have a refund or something of equal or lesser value to which I replied refund please. They then informed me that thier t&c's state you will have to wait up to 30 days for the refund. It is now the 19th of August and no refund! Every time I phone or email them they tell me my refund is on its way but I highly doubt it and because I payed by direct bank transfer I doubt I will ever get my money back. Stay away from this company they will rob you and torment you with promises of refunds that will never come!
An order was placed on the 28th of July for a Livewire Powerline AV...following the item being "In Stock"... here is the definition of "in Stock" should this company care to read...
"1. A supply accumulated for future use; a store.
2. The total merchandise kept on hand by a merchant, commercial establishment, warehouse, or manufacturer."
I received a confirmation email that detailed I would receive the item between 2nd and 5th of August.
Chased on 13th...told "oh we have had an issue with the despatch Warehouse ...item will be with you in 5 Days ..We promise...."
A follow up telephone call today and ..Yes you have guessed it .... its not in stock but on its way from the supplier... what a load of rubbish... then its not in stock then is it !!! - Nb this item has shown in stock from july to the present day.
Should a refund be requested this will be issued with in 30days, and if you make a complaint it needs to be in writing and they will respond no sooner that 28 days to your complaint...which could go on for Years ....
This company in my opinion should be banned from trading, and I have forwarded all my detailed information to the OFT .
I have just realised, the items are "competitively" priced because by the time you actually get them they are vintage stock, and the interest earned on the money received , will more than likely pay for the item time and time again..

Basically i ordered on the 18th of June it is now the 19th of Aug i manged to get 3/5 parts of my order which were a week late from the orginal delivary time of the 2nd of july, the other parts they wouldn't really tell me about ("warehouse issues") and in the end lied to me telling me i would definatly get them between the 9th and 12th of Aug which did not happen in the end i favored canceling my order and paying the extra £50 to a legit company that will get my parts to me for the time they specify i don't have time to sit waiting for parts i need to do my work!

Waited for delivery of ordered items, after items had failed to arrive within specified delivery time phoned customer services, to be told a shipment from Europe was late, and would I like to wait another 10-14 days or so. No contact was made despite them knowing this was the case (if the excuse was even true). I asked for a full refund. Over 10-14 days later, which the site says 'the majority is returned back within that time' (majority of refunds/credits if i have read the site correctly) , I phoned again to be told to wait for a full 30 days. Over 30 days later, no sign of refund. The staff I spoke to were polite, but that is the only good thing I have to say - the company seems to me a sham, I await to see if I will ever get my money back. In fairness a lack of due diligence on my part, but i would personally recommend avoiding this company - It does not seem i am alone in that opinion either!
It has now been two months since I order a part shown as in stock. I was fobbed off for four weeks continually being told it would be back in stock in a few days. I cancelled the order after 4 weeks and then was told I would have to wait up to a further 30 days from cancellation before I got my refund. Two months later still chasing a refund. You would have to be mad to use this company. Gave 1 star as I cant give no stars!
I've waited 8 weeks for my delivery. You were supposed (ie contractually obliged) to deliver within 5 days. After 2 weeks without a word, I had to contact YOU to ascertain what was going on. Now another 6 weeks have passed with no communication from yourselves.
What am I supposed to think about your company when you cannot even communicate with me to explain the excessive delay. Most companies would at least try to make some excuses to their customers and endeavour to retain their customers for the future.

This company are a bunch of crooks who take your money then never honour a refund despite cancelling within 1 day due to the long target delivery date. They keep promising to refund but never do and so I've instructed the bank to chase them.

On the 4th of July 2013, attracted by low price I decided to place the order for Asus graphics card at WAE+. That was my BIGGEST mistake!! It looks like this pseudo-store does not event intend to fulfill your requirements.
What they do instead is: they collect your payment within minutes! Then you begin to wait until you realize you have been duped. Then you wait, further!
They most likely never intend to sell any goods to you. What they do intend is to grab your hard-earned cash and sit on it for as long as they can. I strongly believe, they invest it one way or another to make profit.
Now, sooner or later you realize you have been cheated and you decide to cancel the order. You log in to WAE+ dodgy website and you choose to cancel the order. You receive response offering you a 'store credit' as an option. You try to submit your answer and the website does NOT allow you to do it!! Whatever your answer might be... I tried DOZENs of times!!! I believe, the website is set that way. Just to keep you waiting, longer!!
OK. You then grab the phone and call them. You reach the guy with Indian accent who kindly accepts your wish to cancel the order. Then he tells you that you will have to wait for your refund for the period stated in their T&C. What is that period??
30 DAYS!!!! Why? Because, they experience high volume of calls and there is only ONE! person dealing with refunds! ONE person??!! Not good enough as for the "Officially the Second Fastest Growing E-tailer in Europe". Please, what a joke-statement that is... The truth behind it is: by law, they simply can NOT
sit on your money any longer! Do they refund on time, anyway? Very unlikely!!
I recovered my money through credit card issuer after nearly 6 weeks of waiting. As far as I am aware, dishonest retailers experience sanctions and fees for such activities. So, I doubt WAE+ ever made any profit on 'sitting' on my cash. That however, does not change the fact I experienced a lot of hassle and delays.
Please, PLEASE STAY AWAY from that SCAM!! And NEVER EVER agree to pay by direct bank transfer!!! I wish all the companies like WAE+ got seized and were never ever allowed to come in contact with any potential customers!

I ordered a pretty standard Epson printer on the 2nd July. Now it 's 16th August and the printer has not been delivered. The worst is that several e-mails have been ignored, customer service was pathetic. I have just cancelled the order and I hope I will receive my money back.
This company does not practice what it preaches...i ordered some perfume to take on holiday with me and when it never arrived the day before i was due to go got in touch...Out of Stock with no knowledge of when it would be able to deliver...so I cancelled order and have been waiting over a month for refund! According to WAE the 30 day refund policy does not take effect until 30 days from the date that I ACTUALLY said that i wanted a refund! Pooey to them......
I am thoroughly disappointed with the total absence of effective communication with this company. Their only demonstration thus far in terms of efficiency, was to bank the payment the same day I made it. Since receipt of my money I have received little by way of information concerning the delivery of my order made almost a month ago. Using their telephone system is a complete and utter waste of time and money because all you receive is a polite message followed by an endless supply of piped music. I have been "held" in a telephone queue each time I have telephoned for well over an hour without getting through to a human being. I will never use this company again, particularly as I'm far from confident of receiving the goods I have paid for. My next move is to contact the Trading Standards Authority to discover if I can take further legal action against the poor and inefficient, couldn't care less attitude of this company.
Samsung 840 Pro SSD was ordered then I subsequently cancelled the order due to the amount of time required for delivery. No issues there. However, item was cancelled on the 2nd of July, It is now the 16th of August and I have yet to receive a refund despite many promises from customer services.
Firstly can I say please don't place a review before you have received your goods - all positive reviews I have read are from customers who have only just placed their orders reviewing the buying stage alone, and not yet given WAE+ a chance to deliver (or not).
I ordered a wireless router in the middle of May showing as in stock. Delivery was long at 7-9 days but I wasn't in a rush so ordered it anyway. No communication from WAE+ at all, and no delivery. I contacted them numerous times to be told to wait a few more days each time. Still no delivery by 17th June so I cancelled the order. Since then I have been chasing for a refund and still not received one almost three months since placing the order.
These cowboys should be shut down immediately, from what I can read online I'm certainly not alone with problems with WAE+. Items are shown as in stock when they are not and unlikely to be at all from what I gather. They have no respect for any customers. I'm having to claim back the money through my credit card, and have also reported WAE+ to Watchdog and Trading Standards. Absolutely dreadful.
Found the best price for a Samsung Tab2 10.1 on the web with WAE+, around £34 less than closest competitor so ordered for my partners Birthday present. This was on the 22nd June, the delivery was expected within 8-10 working days. I waited till beyond this time frame with no delivery, contacted WAE+ and was advised it would be a few more days. Same again, waited, nothing, called, told a few more days. Same again, waited, nothing, called, told a few more days.... I had contacted 4 times with no joy, the last call when I said I wished to cancel and be refunded I was told the product was out of stock. Have to wait up to 30 days for refund - lets see what happens. I did suggest that there was one thing that they did well, this was the actual attitude of the stafff when I contatced them, they were all very polite and (seemingly) helpful
I originally ordered an item on the 20/06/2013 due for delivery on a week later. Despite several phone calls my order still didn't arrive by the 08/07/2013 despite being "in stock" so I cancelled the order. To this date I'm yet to receive a refund. In the T&Cs its 30 days despite them taking your money on the same day as the order!.
30 days has now passed and I'm no closer to getting a refund. Numerous calls have been made to customer services, it has been "escalated" twice. I have emailed the management email address, it has been read and delivered succesfully and no response.
What an awful company, I will never recommend or order anything from them again. Be warned!
UPDATE 17/08/2013 - My refund was finally received for the full amount on 16/08/2013 after numerous letters and emails. This has been 6 weeks after my original cancellation date.

I bought some food items from WAE+ on 26th July, nothing which I would imagine are difficult to source as the Bakery / Manufacturer is based in the UK and these goods are available in Ocado and most wholesalers. However it is now 15th August, and my order is still showing as 'awaiting fulfillment'. Concerned about this, I googled the company name, only to find an unsettling number negative reviews from the various well known review sites as well as discussions on consumer based forums such as Money Saving Expert and UK Hot Deals.
I have emailed the company for either an update on the lead time or a refund but have yet to receive the courtesy of a reply.
Given the huge amount of negative feedback surrounding the company, I feel that my next communication will be to the Guardian Newspaper "Consumer Champions" column to highlight the delays which I, and many others seem to be getting when placing orders with WAE+
These items were ordered on behalf of a colleague who runs a guesthouse, no doubt the peak season will be well and truly over before these goods arrive (if indeed they ever do), perhaps it would have been ultimately faster for her to have baked the goods herself!.
I suggest that any customer of WAE+ who has an ongoing complaint with them, take the time to contact ALL of the following Press and Media entities who deal with consumer issues. The more people who individually contact them about this company, the more likely they will be to take up the matter on our behalf. I also suggest that when contacting them, that you include links to this, and the many review sites where WAE+ is discussed, so they can see and read for themselves the depth of the issues, how long they have been occurring and that it is still ongoing.
WAE+ claim to be "The Second Fastest Growing E-Retailer in Europe...".
Based on my experience, I can only assume that their growth is malignant; it certainly can't be based on customer satisfaction, professionalism or integrity.
I ordered a solid state drive (SSD) at a competitive price which was claimed to be in stock. I made clear that my order was entirely conditional on the item actually being in stock and available for delivery within the quoted 1-3 working days.
My credit card was charged immediately and I waited. After 4 working days I emailed them, querying the non-receipt. I received back two automated responses, each claiming that the order had been "delayed" and they were expecting a delivery. One claimed that this would be in a few days; the other claimed 10-14 days. Clearly the item in question had never been in stock at all !
I asked which delay they meant and was told the second (longer) one.
Having read other reports of their Modus Operandi, I have canceled the order, requesting an immediate credit to my card. I will update this review with progress.
The company appear to operate with no stock, taking customers' money and (possibly) ordering from China or wherever else they can source product. The intention appears to be to delay until customers forget.
All I can advise potential customers to do is some research. It isn't difficult to find out how this company works. They are a cancer that needs to be excised !
