Following a fault with the light I ordered I was obviously disappointed, however the customer service I received was exemplary, and a new light was dispatched, unfortunately this also was faulty, again although a remain disappointed with the light manufacturer I can only praise Wayfair customer service agents. I would defiantly nominate Wayfair for an award in customer service, and it is due the professional yet friendly nature of the customer service agents that I would not hesitate to order other products from Wayfair and indeed recommend them to friends and family, I feel that the agents are able to provide a personal touch which is sadly lacking in other companies. I would say their customer service on this occasion was outstanding well above the average we have all come to expect, well done.
I don't understand why pretty much the whole of Scotland is considered an extended areas in the UK which may has additional surcharge for postage. It costs no more to send to Glasgow than it does to send to Manchester and if their courier is charging them an extra £20 to deliver a medium package to Glasgow then they should sack their Supply Chain manager. Dont don't waste your time going through to checkout with purchases if you don't live in England as delivery will cost you. Y
I placed an order for two different items on 7/9/13. One was delivered with no problems. As the second item had not arrived, I checked my account with them. This showed that the item was backordered (i.e. not in stock) but no one had bothered to tell me this. A few weeks later I checked my account again to see that it showed that the second item had been delivered! I spoke to a very nice lady at Wayfair who said there had obviously been a mistake. She told me that the item was still backordered but that it would be delivered around 22/10/13 (confirmed by subsequent e-mail). When it was not, I rang again. Another very nice lady explained that there had been a further delay and that delivery would take place around 18/11/13. On 18/11/13, I received an e-mail to say that the item had been processed for delivery on 19/11/13. Hooray! But then on 19/11/13, I received another e-mail to say that, as the item was out of stock, they wouldn't be able to deliver until 5/12/13. When I rang this time, yet another nice lady took my order cancellation. Will they process my refund promptly? The jury is out!
So, in summary, if you've got something you're in no hurry to receive and you're happy to spend plenty of time talking to nice Irish ladies, this is the company for you! On the other hand, if you want to deal with a company that's effective at delivering your order, this is probably one to avoid.
we ordered a bed to be delivered form tescos on Monday . the bed never arrived on the Monday we phoned tesco several times on Monday evening and was told somebody would ring us back my i add 5 different people said they would ring but yet again this did not happen. we have been spoken to by tesco over the past three days and still have no delivery date, tesco are refusing to discuss any form of compensation! please do not shop with these people!!!!!
I have ordered 3 items from Wayfair to date. I have been satisfied with all of them although one of the item was damaged during transit and I did not spot it till mu husband started to put the item together. As we needed the item for a party the next day, we went ahead and built the item and decided to keep it and hide the damage from view. I was really busy and did not get around to emailing Wayfair till about a month later when I received an email asking for review,
I then emailed them and told what had happened and did not want to leave a review as it would be biased. Amazingly I received a reply within the next few days saying that they were sorry and that a replacement item has been despatched! I was really impressed with the service as no photographic evidence was asked although I did state that I had them.
The item was a bamboo kitchen trolley and is excellent value for money with a granite top. I am really happy with both the item and the service from Wayfair. I would definitely recommend them and also buy again from them.
This is an honest review of Wayfair. PLEASE save yourself the trouble and do NOT buy from these people. I ordered a "Pride Baby Shaggy Dark Brown Rug" and a "Brown Coffee Table". The rug arrived around 2 weeks later, unacceptable delivery time in my opinion. The coffee table was due to arrive a week later but to date has not yet arrived (over a month later) despite them stating that it has been delivered. Have checked with neighbours, but to no avail.
When the rug arrived we could see clearly that the colour was nothing like that seen in the picture and therefore was not suitable as did not match the furniture in the room. We contacted Wayfair and they said they would collect the item. They did. I chased up for my refund and they said they would process the refund less a pick up charge as the rug was brown "as described". What nonsense!! It may have been a dark shade of grey at best but never in a million years "brown". I am disgusted by such an unprofessional and discourteous response. Who knows where my coffee table has ended up! For the best service in my experience stick to UK retailers who have a decent reputation such as NEXT, BHS or JL. Stay well away from Wayfair.
Despite me writing to them politely affording them the chance to fix the issue at hand they have been rude and obnoxious in their responses. I will make representation to my credit card company for reimbursement of funds duly owed to me. Save yourself the headache. These guys are anything but fair.
I have bought a bed on the 23rd of October from Wayfair because you offered a next day delivery service. So I buy the bed and only after I order your system says that the day of delivery would be 28th October.
So I call your customer service immediately to tell you that I want a next day delivery. A very friendly lady from your customer service tells me that the system automatically sets up a date but that the bed should arrive on the 24th (next day delivery as claimed on your website), not on the 28th. I decide to stick with my order with your customer service's advice.
I receive a tracking number from you a few hours later and XDP does not set up the delivery for the next day, but rather for today (25th October). So I wait all day today and NO BED!! They haven't delivered the bed. And I have waited all day for it. And on the tracking system it still says that the delivery was booked for today but that the expected delivery day is on the 28th (does it take three days to go from the depot to Cambridge city centre?)!
I am writing this review to tell you to change the delivery company. This is unacceptable and it undermines Wayfair's reputation. If your company website says next day delivery and the bed is delivered five days later, it is not next day delivery anymore. I understand that it could be XDP's fault but if so, you should consider changing your delivery method.
I will ask a friend to come home on Monday to wait for the bed, hoping that XDP will deliver it this time!
Ordered from ebay the Paul Neuhaus Alano Lamp. Thinking wow great bargain...yea if I wanted a light bulb. I had a email from them saying it had been cancelled due to error. So I rang them and asked what was the error. They explained that they had put the picture of a light and the description of the same light (checked on many other sites) and didn't state it was JUST A LIGHT BULB!
Refund said to be given but this is the second time I have ordered from here and the item has been listed wrong.
Thanks Wayfair UK for good customer service today! Item I ordered was delivered quickly and for a good price, but a part was damaged. Wayfair sending out a replacement part right away. Much appreciated! I paid a couple of pounds more to order with Wayfair rather than Galaxy Stores because of the better Trustpilot reviews and am happy that I did so.
I purchased a wall light from Wayfair a while ago, and when it arrived it was beautiful and so I purchased another one to go with it. I was due to go away for work for a few months and therefore missed the delivery. When I came back and opened the light fitting, there was just a bracket in the box. Granted I was late in reporting the error on Wayfair's part due to being away but when I contacted them I was told I couldn't have a replacement part. Now, I'd understand if the reason for return was something like I'd changed my mind, but this was obviously an error on Wayfair's part and I cannot understand why they would rather have an unhappy customer than just send a replacement part. One night fitting cost me over £100 so I'm really disappointed that they only offered me 10% off my next purchase instead of replacing the part (this also came across extremely insincere, since they offer 10% off to everyone who signs up to a newsletter anyway), so now I'd have to pay another £100 towards a wall light and although I love Wayfair's products I'd rather shop at my regular John Lewis for outstanding customer service and a no quibble return policy. It's a shame because I wanted to purchase the matching floor lamp too but definitely will not now. These days its so easy to take for granted that you will get great customer service everywhere and that's what I did with Wayfair and I was horribly wrong.
I found Wayfair friendly and helpful, always willing to do whatever it takes to give you your request. They even pushed the boat out so that I didn't have to use a courier company that I didn't like the customer service of. The call centre customer service by Mark Kiernan was fantastic and put me in such a good mood! LOVE THEM
I ordered a single chair. The order was accepted & my payment taken, with estimated delivery in 3 days. On day 4, received an e-mail to say the warehouse advises chairs can only be sold in pairs, so they can't fulfil the order.
total waste of my time, gives the impression Wayfair is a bunch of incompetents. Extremely unlikely I will order from them again.
We were looking for a rug for our lounge and Wayfair were the most competitive, as well as offering the fastest delivery option. The rug came super-fast and was top quality. They also followed up on the order with superb after-sales. All in all, magnificent service and I will be purchasing from Wayfair again soon

I have used Wayfair for the last few years as I have an property company and need furniture . I find the service excellent, and love the next day free delivery as speed and costs are important to my business, The customer care is excellent. I would highly recommend this company and Im sure will be using it for a long time to come.
I was searching the net for reasonably priced good quality cast iron frying pans and accessories, and finally found what I was looking for. These pans are really good, with even surface, pre-seasoned and ready to use, but get even better with a tiny bit of fat film, left in the oven for a few hours at 180C , which automatically makes them non-stick. The cast iron panini/bacon press is also excellent.
I am really pleased with my purchase and with my overall experience - high quality products, competitive prices, smooth transaction and speedy delivery! Also, it's worth mentioning there are some really nice features on the website like pinning the products at the bottom of the page, so one could easily compare them, nice user friendly layout, etc.
Having searched the internet and local shops for a wardrobe that was flat packed to allow us to get it up our narrow twisty staircase and would fit in an alcove in my daughters bedroom I found the perfect one at wayfair.Co.UK at great value and the delivery speed was amazing and once put up very impressed with the quality would highly recommend this company amazing choice to. I have perhaps just been very lucky after reading some of the negative reviews but I have to, say I have had excellent service from Wayfair. My last order was a Tiffany lamp with butterflies decorating it,. I was very nervous as it was easily damaged. It was in perfect condition upon arrival and assembled well and look gorgeous. MY previous orders have also been Tiffany lamps and they too arrived in perfect condition. We have oreer other items and they too were trouble free .
We bought Caxton furniture from this website and are thrilled with our experience with them. Staff are so nice as you would want them to be and treat you as an individual rather than generalise you. Products are of superb quality and we have had many compliments. Our furniture was sturdy and strong, as to be expected from Caxton. We later were advised that due to our purchase we had obtained rewards which is a sum of money with which you can further purchase items staying in the reward amount or as a part payment if the total amount exceeds the reward amount. We purchased two beautifully stunning photographic canvases which again were of superb quality and a generous size. Again these canvases have also been complimented. I purchased 2 bookcases which arrived a day or so after placing the order. I assembled them very quickly as it was obvious that they had been designed by someone who had taken the time to understand the flaws with flat pack furniture.
I now have a couple of sturdy, well constructed bookcases that I am very happy with. I would highly recommend Wayfair.
I purchased a rug and a table. The rug arrived in good time.
I was given an estimated delivery date for the table of 6th August 2013. It did not arrive and by reference to the tracking number provided by 7th August 2013 the item had not been collected from Wayfair's warehouse by the courier.
I called Wayfair and was told there had been an error and that the courier would collect the table from the warehouse on 7th August and I would receive it on 8th or 9th August. I arranged for someone to wait at home but by reference to the tracking number provided by Friday 9th August the item seemed not to yet be with the courier.
I spent more valuable time speaking to Wayfair. I was eventually told that due to an error the item had not been collected from the warehouse by the courier but that I MIGHT receive the item on Monday 12th August. I lost faith and cancelled the order verbally and in writing. Now for the best bit.
Wayfair's Mrs [private data removed] condescended to allow me a FREE RETURN although I had never received the item. I was then told twice by email by Mrs [private data removed] today (10 08 2013) that no refund could or would be made until the item was returned to Wayfair and inspected for damage. That bold and foolish position was adopted by Mrs [private data removed] despite the fact that the item never left Wayfair's warehouse as far as I know, if in fact it was ever in stock when it was notionally sold to me. I explained to Mrs [private data removed] that a refund could not be conditional upon the safe return to Wayfair of a table that had never been supplied to me and the condition of which I could not have influenced. The absurdity of Mrs [private data removed]/Wayfair's position regarding a refund is plain to see. I put Wayfair on notice of recovery action under the County Court Pre Action Protocol, explained to Mrs [private data removed] that I consider her to be "hard of understanding" and left it at that.
Experience shows that one discovers how good or bad a business is when things go wrong. This business appears, in my opinion and experience, to care very little about its customers and very much about its customers' money.
I recommend avoiding this business. There are many alternatives.
Wanted some rustic looking outside lights for our old cottage on Exmoor and this company had such a good choice. The lights came from Spain, but they arrived so quickly and you were given a tracking number, so it was quite interesting watching their journey! When they arrived we were delighted, packaged well and the lights looked absolutely great. Very easy to fit and they are all working and look amazing. The service from Wayfair was brilliant from thier easy to order service, to delivery and after care, would not hesitate to recommend or use again, theyhave some really different products that cannot be found elsewhere.
You get stuff at Wayfair that you cannot get on the High Street or at the usual furniture stores. Wayfair furniture is stylish, has solid construction and the prices are either reasonable or a total bargain. If you don't Wayfair your home, you are missing out big time.
My recent purchase with Wayfair.co.uk was a seemless one. The item was delivered very quickly, it was good value for money and what I ordered was exactly what i got. They even give a great follow up service checking that everything was OK. Good on you Wayfair, other companies should take a leaf out of you book.
i needed to find out a bit more about the products I was buying. The support staff were very helpful. The product was delivered as planned and was excellent in terms of the description given both on line and by the support staff. It was also well packaged and good value.
Excellent customer service and the products were delivered promptly. I ordered a storage bench and coat stand for the hall, the bench was easy to assemble and both products look great, the coat stand was damaged slightly when it arrived but Wayfair responded immediately and received replacement parts within a couple of days. Would definitely recommend Wayfair to my friends and family and will certainly order again.
We bought a table with a swivel top for my elderly mother-in-law, she finds it very useful and attractive. It was delivered very quickly and was easy to assemble. There was a slight scratch on it when we got it, but not worth making a fuss about - it'll get more in use.
During the last couple of years I have bought five light fittings which were well packed and easy to install, they also look good. I have recently purchased a free standing towel rail and free standing toilet roll holder in stainless steel, these were a bit expensive but they are just what I wanted and look great in the shower room.
The deliveries have all been quick and efficient.
I bought a wardrobe, two blanket boxes and a bathroom cabinet at different times. A broken catch on the wardrobe was replaced very quickly. The bathroom cabinet was replaced without any argument due to a manufacturing defect. I would recommend this company to anyone.
I was pleased with the level of service from Wayfair. They seemed to offer the best value for money and had a fantastic selection on the website.
This site is one of my first stops when searching for furniture and furnishings but especially lighting, even if I find a product elsewhere I would always check here to see if they have it too, they usually do and often at a better price.
The choice here is outstanding with every style represented, a great resource.
I have had a couple of problems, once a lamp was damaged in the post but this was quickly replaced and even a lamp that stopped working after a few weeks use was replaced without any fuss.
I highly recommend this site.
I have bought many furnitures with Wayfair in the past 3 years and I have had very little issues with my orders. Worst that happened was a small part of a furniture that was damaged, which Wayfair replaced promptly at no cost and some items taking a bit of time to come in, but this seemed to be more related to the manufacturer than Wayfair, and Wayfair kept me informed all along.
Besides from those two incidents, I would have given them 5 stars, especially as their staff is really nice and competent and their prices are always among the cheapest in the market.
Have dealt with way fair 3 times now. I can honestly say I've had no problems whatsoever on all occasions.
Purchased a computer workstation/desk. Good quality, easy to assemble and priced competitively. Looks as good as new 4 months later. Three boys 9-14 yrs and 2 adults using it daily. Very pleased.
I purchased Paulmann Wire 12V Sheela 210 Complete Systems Set in Black Chrome (975.36) from CSN Stores UK on 31/12/2010 CSN Order #28135986. I was advised after a telephone conversation that I needed cabling @ £87.23 (ex VAT). On receipt of order I discovered that cabling was included in the kit and the separate order was not necessary. CSN refused to accept return of the superfluous cable as it was part of a kit. I pointed out that the cabling delivered was advertised as a separate item on their website (@ £19.99 + VAT) which they denied. I was able to send them a copy of the webpage after which they accepted return of the cable and to refund the cost “as an exception”. Two weeks after return of the cable no acknowledgement or refund was received and I asked about progress. I was advised that the cable had not been received by them. I was able to provide proof of postage and eventually I received a refund after two months. I vowed never to use CSN again.
In January 2013 one of the units in the tracking system melted under normal usage. Assuming that warranty had expired and not wishing to use CSN again I found a replacement fitting at Wayfair UK @ £16.66 Order Number: 1403629321. Itemised Paulmann CombiSystems Rail 12V Sheela Ceiling Light in Black Chrome (940.46) Part of Set: CombiSystems Rail 12V Sheela Track Light Set in Black. On receipt of the unit I found that the design was slightly different to the original and I wondered if a design fault was responsible for the unit melting. On Paulmann’s web site I discovered that they offered 5 year guarantee on their product. I submitted an enquiry about safety of the remaining units as well as confirmation of warranty but no reply has been received despite repeated efforts. I decided to contact CSN about the warranty only to discover that they had changed their name to Wayfair UK. Refund of £16.66 was refused because I had not followed their procedure, the replacement unit was for a different system “light and easy” and that Paulmann offer 5 year warranty because their products are so good they couldn’t possibly fail if installed correctly i.e. implying dishonesty on my behalf. Despite several further emails to Wayfair I have received no further reply. Customer service of Wayfair is woeful and the arrogance displayed by Paulmann is breathtaking. Use them at your peril.
