After checking with them an confirming that they had 17 bath shower mixer in stock and should receive it within one week, placed an order with them. I had an email back confirming the approximate delivery date and nothing else after that. On the last day which I was expecting the goods to arrive, I had an email from them saying that “the item I have ordered is out of stock” despite of telling me on the phone they had 17 in stock? When I phoned them, they didn’t know if they have them or not, then they said I should have it following day which never receive it. Every day I had to phone them to see where is my order, and they kept saying, “I may get it next day”. Eventually I received the goods after two weeks but it was wrong item. When I phoned them again, all they said “mistake can happen” and I have to wait for another week before they can send me another unit as they dispatch the goods only once per week from their warehouse. At the end I had to cancel the order with them and buy it from a local supplier at a cheaper price on next day delivery. Their customer service is the worst I ever seen. This has caused a lot of incontinent and extra cost to me and will never order from them again.
We had an issue with a wardrobe we bought from Wayfair. After we contacted the company to advise of the problem, it was dealt with swiftly and effectively by a very helpful member of the team. No hesitation to recommend this company despite our disappointment in the particular product ordered. Thank you Wayfair!
I ordered a Caxton Melody 3 Door Mirrored Sliding Wardrobe thru Tesco Direct 16 Jan 2014... took the money straight away... been advised item will be made in weeks time minimum of 3 weeks max to 6 weeks... Received an email 11 Feb 2014 that my order has been cancelled... Called the customer service and he said that the item is out of stock and there was an issue with Tesco Direct that the item should not be on their site... I asked him why is the item is still can be seen in Tesco and he said I will remove it today!!!! What???!!!!!! They should be doing it long time ago not now!!!! If the item is out of stock or can not be made then DO NOT PUT it on your website!!!! Stop scamming people you are just wasting our time!!! I waited almost 1 month and all I hear is I am sorry!!! So why did you took my money on the first place then???!!!!!!!!!!!
The item I ordered was delivered on time and it was a very quick delivery. However, the item developed a fault. I e-mailed the company and they responded very promptly and politely offering either a replacement or a full refund.
What more can I say, excellent customer service and customer care standards; I know I will be ordering from them again, I have no hesitation in recommending others do too.
I ordered a console table and the communication was perfect and the item arrived after two weeks. They responded to my enquiry email very quickly. The only down side is that it takes two weeks for most items to be delivered which I wish was faster.
Purchased with this company 3 times & I will NEVER buy furniture from anywhere else!
(I have had problems in the past buying furniture online... when the product arrived damaged... previous companies I have used required me to photo the damage, email the pics to them. They even accused me of damaging the item... It has been a battle to get replacements etc..)

I have made 3 separate purchases from Wayfair & I can honestly say they have been a pleasure to deal with. Damaged product received (Not wayfairs fault i must add) and this was dealt with promptly, professionally and without any hassle what so ever. The replacement items were delivered within 2 days. Staff were friendly, apologetic & understanding.
If you are experienced at buying furniture online..you will know the pitfalls, you nearly always get some kind of damage or parts missing etc.. .
USE WAYFAIR. because it will be dealt with in a manner indicated above. Plus, you even get cash back to spend on their site. Amazing online company with the best customer service around.
The employees of Wayfair are extremely well trained and most caring to ensure that your order will arrive on time. My experience dealing with them is first class and I would based on my three purchases have no hesitation in placing further orders. I can recommend anyone who is hesitant to place an order with complete confidence.
I generally don't have a problem with Wayfair itself but the delivery companies they use especially XDP. I ordered a chest of drawers on 21/10/2013 and after a lot of calls, emails, inconveniences and wasted time, the order arrived 2nd week of November. This left a bitter taste in my mouth & though the customer service at wayfair is excellent & their reward system fantastic, I will think twice before ordering from them again
I needed to rearrange my delivery because of an unexpected absence, and emailed customer services. I got a personal and prompt reply and the arrangements I needed were made straight away. Lights arrived on the scheduled date, and I am delighted with them. Very good quality at a reasonable price. I have used this company before, and I will use them again.
I ordered a consul table and matching mirror on Sun 22nd Dec and received e mail saying goods would be expected delivery on 7th Jan. I was pleased with this considering it was over holiday season. I received confirmation e mail on 5Jan saying goods had been dispatched and would receive on 7th. I emailed back to see if it was possible to leave goods in garage. Received reply saying request had been passed on to courier. When l arrived home on 7th, goods were safely in my garage. Where else would you get service like that at such short notice? This is the first time l have purchased from Wayfair, but l will certainly not hesitate to order again, and l will definitely recommend them to family and friends. Following a fault with the light I ordered I was obviously disappointed, however the customer service I received was exemplary, and a new light was dispatched, unfortunately this also was faulty, again although a remain disappointed with the light manufacturer I can only praise Wayfair customer service agents. I would defiantly nominate Wayfair for an award in customer service, and it is due the professional yet friendly nature of the customer service agents that I would not hesitate to order other products from Wayfair and indeed recommend them to friends and family, I feel that the agents are able to provide a personal touch which is sadly lacking in other companies. I would say their customer service on this occasion was outstanding well above the average we have all come to expect, well done.
I don't understand why pretty much the whole of Scotland is considered an extended areas in the UK which may has additional surcharge for postage. It costs no more to send to Glasgow than it does to send to Manchester and if their courier is charging them an extra £20 to deliver a medium package to Glasgow then they should sack their Supply Chain manager. Dont don't waste your time going through to checkout with purchases if you don't live in England as delivery will cost you. Y
I placed an order for two different items on 7/9/13. One was delivered with no problems. As the second item had not arrived, I checked my account with them. This showed that the item was backordered (i.e. not in stock) but no one had bothered to tell me this. A few weeks later I checked my account again to see that it showed that the second item had been delivered! I spoke to a very nice lady at Wayfair who said there had obviously been a mistake. She told me that the item was still backordered but that it would be delivered around 22/10/13 (confirmed by subsequent e-mail). When it was not, I rang again. Another very nice lady explained that there had been a further delay and that delivery would take place around 18/11/13. On 18/11/13, I received an e-mail to say that the item had been processed for delivery on 19/11/13. Hooray! But then on 19/11/13, I received another e-mail to say that, as the item was out of stock, they wouldn't be able to deliver until 5/12/13. When I rang this time, yet another nice lady took my order cancellation. Will they process my refund promptly? The jury is out! So, in summary, if you've got something you're in no hurry to receive and you're happy to spend plenty of time talking to nice Irish ladies, this is the company for you! On the other hand, if you want to deal with a company that's effective at delivering your order, this is probably one to avoid.
we ordered a bed to be delivered form tescos on Monday . the bed never arrived on the Monday we phoned tesco several times on Monday evening and was told somebody would ring us back my i add 5 different people said they would ring but yet again this did not happen. we have been spoken to by tesco over the past three days and still have no delivery date, tesco are refusing to discuss any form of compensation! please do not shop with these people!!!!!
I have ordered 3 items from Wayfair to date. I have been satisfied with all of them although one of the item was damaged during transit and I did not spot it till mu husband started to put the item together. As we needed the item for a party the next day, we went ahead and built the item and decided to keep it and hide the damage from view. I was really busy and did not get around to emailing Wayfair till about a month later when I received an email asking for review, I then emailed them and told what had happened and did not want to leave a review as it would be biased. Amazingly I received a reply within the next few days saying that they were sorry and that a replacement item has been despatched! I was really impressed with the service as no photographic evidence was asked although I did state that I had them. The item was a bamboo kitchen trolley and is excellent value for money with a granite top. I am really happy with both the item and the service from Wayfair. I would definitely recommend them and also buy again from them.
This is an honest review of Wayfair. PLEASE save yourself the trouble and do NOT buy from these people. I ordered a "Pride Baby Shaggy Dark Brown Rug" and a "Brown Coffee Table". The rug arrived around 2 weeks later, unacceptable delivery time in my opinion. The coffee table was due to arrive a week later but to date has not yet arrived (over a month later) despite them stating that it has been delivered. Have checked with neighbours, but to no avail.
When the rug arrived we could see clearly that the colour was nothing like that seen in the picture and therefore was not suitable as did not match the furniture in the room. We contacted Wayfair and they said they would collect the item. They did. I chased up for my refund and they said they would process the refund less a pick up charge as the rug was brown "as described". What nonsense!! It may have been a dark shade of grey at best but never in a million years "brown". I am disgusted by such an unprofessional and discourteous response. Who knows where my coffee table has ended up! For the best service in my experience stick to UK retailers who have a decent reputation such as NEXT, BHS or JL. Stay well away from Wayfair.
Despite me writing to them politely affording them the chance to fix the issue at hand they have been rude and obnoxious in their responses. I will make representation to my credit card company for reimbursement of funds duly owed to me. Save yourself the headache. These guys are anything but fair.
I have bought a bed on the 23rd of October from Wayfair because you offered a next day delivery service. So I buy the bed and only after I order your system says that the day of delivery would be 28th October.
So I call your customer service immediately to tell you that I want a next day delivery. A very friendly lady from your customer service tells me that the system automatically sets up a date but that the bed should arrive on the 24th (next day delivery as claimed on your website), not on the 28th. I decide to stick with my order with your customer service's advice.
I receive a tracking number from you a few hours later and XDP does not set up the delivery for the next day, but rather for today (25th October). So I wait all day today and NO BED!! They haven't delivered the bed. And I have waited all day for it. And on the tracking system it still says that the delivery was booked for today but that the expected delivery day is on the 28th (does it take three days to go from the depot to Cambridge city centre?)!
I am writing this review to tell you to change the delivery company. This is unacceptable and it undermines Wayfair's reputation. If your company website says next day delivery and the bed is delivered five days later, it is not next day delivery anymore. I understand that it could be XDP's fault but if so, you should consider changing your delivery method.
I will ask a friend to come home on Monday to wait for the bed, hoping that XDP will deliver it this time!
Ordered from ebay the Paul Neuhaus Alano Lamp. Thinking wow great bargain...yea if I wanted a light bulb. I had a email from them saying it had been cancelled due to error. So I rang them and asked what was the error. They explained that they had put the picture of a light and the description of the same light (checked on many other sites) and didn't state it was JUST A LIGHT BULB! Refund said to be given but this is the second time I have ordered from here and the item has been listed wrong.
