Short and sweet.

My first experience with Webuybooks and I had no problems whatsoever.
It's easy to load your book details, you can see what you can expect and they send regular updates so you are not kept wondering or waiting as to what is happening with your transaction.

I needed to reduce the number of books I had. Using Webuybooks couldn't have been easier. I entered the ISBN and got an instant decision on the books and the price offered. Sending the books was very straightforward. I took them to the local drop off point. Each cheque came without delay. I have now sold three boxes of books. I will certainly use Webuybooks again.

After looking up the website online, blowing the dust off the jackets, I packed the books up - phoned for a label, as i havent a printer. One was sent the next day and then the collection! brilliant. Payment sharp, within the week, direct into my account

I used Webuybooks to recycle some old books. They were easy to use online, I packed my books, sent them to a registered retailer for delivery to Webuybooks and a few days later received my payment. I could also track the process of my books online.

From the moment I started selling my books I had 100% excellent customer service (thank you Lyndsey!) They guide you through the process and answer every question immediately. They also helped me with my postage as I couldn't get out so Lyndsey kindly printed off the label, posted it for me and sorted a home pick up with UPS. Please don't hesitate to use this company!

No problems and quick responses

This was the first time I had used this company to sell DVDs and books. I found it easy to use and when I had a query I emailed them through their website and they came back quickly with a good response.
Having sent my items off, I had an email to confirm they had received them and then the money deposited in my account - the same amount as had been quoted me during the initial process.
Very pleased and would look to use them again.

A great service!

I found webuybooks mentioned on an episode of Superscrimpers a few weeks ago and checked out some of the prices they'd give me for books I wanted to sell. I checked them again other sites and found they gave a little more money than those do. I wasn't able to sell a lot of my books to them, but as they grow, I'm sure more will be taken.

Would definitely recommend using this service, my only very slight issue was that the order took a little longer than expected to process. However, once the email came through that my items had been accepted the cheque arrived within a few days.

I sent 10 books. The sending process was good , quick and easy. However unless you read the small print you end up loosing money. They need to make the guidelines for suitable books much, much clearer. My offer was for £20 something. I received an email saying they received my books, so I expected the twenty pound to appear in my account. A day later I received an email saying they were deducting £13 from my offer as three of the books had pencil highlighting in them and one had a broken spine ( inaccurate) and that I would receive £7 and they would recycle the 'damaged' books. I rung them and was told it would cost £4-5 pound to send EACH book back to me! I argued it and send how ridiculous that isand they said they would send my 4 books back to me at a cost of £6. They deducted that out of ny offer so I ended up getting approx £1.50 for 6 books. Fair play that they lowered the price to send my books back but they need to make the condition regulations much clearer. I will not use them again.

The cost to return each book is £2.40 and is clearly stated under section 5 in the terms and conditions. We have a contract with a paper recycling company who recycle all our paper waste, this is also outlined in the “Company” page. We have strict guidelines that we must stick to and apologise if you feel disappointed that you did not receive full payment. We can confirm that two people checked and re-checked your items to see if they passed our item condition guidelines. It is rare that we cannot pay for some of our customers items and we understand that it can be frustrating when this occurs. Once again our apologies.

I sent the items, they were processed, and I was paid, all in a little over a week.
What else is there to say?

Maybe if a book isn't in top condition maybe a reduced price is better than nothing because you are still able to pass on and make money from it
