After reading about Wren Kitchens in the Daily Express, we decided to go over to Bolton to see for ourselves what they were like. On arrival we were quite frankly very surprised and impressed with the setup. Having spent over 20 years in the Furniture industry it was a delight to view kitchens that "ticked" all the boxes. The information and advice given to us by the Designer, Alan Cassidy, at the initial discussion stage was very useful and this was followed up by a visit and then CAD drawings produced for our examination. After agreeing to proceed, delivery of the units was undertaken, again this was carried out quite professionally and on time, and then the Kitchen Fitter, PeterEdge, called to arrange a suitable date for commencing the work. He arrived "spot on" the date and worked tirelessly to complete the installation in a very short time in a very clean and tidy manner. We required some electrical work to be undertaken and Certificated, this was also professionally carried out by James Turner in once again a very short time. When all these were completed, the Fitter arranged for plasterers to finish off the remainder of the outstanding work. The final end product is that of a beautiful fitted kitchen that adds value to our house and is fully guaranteed in the future. We cannot fault any of the aspects of dealing with Wren Kitchens and have no hesitation in recommending their products to any one interested in having a new kitchen fitted.
Just Bought our new kitchen from Wren kitchens & bedrooms Doncaster.I would like to say that from start to finish, the service from the staff, has been second to none.the quality of the product is realy good, customer follow up service is very very efficient.and they show real concern.I would like to say a special thank's to Simon,& Grant. who has shown real intrest in our purchase.I would recommend Wren Kitchens.to friends.& family, Thank you. PS.even the delivery drivers where very efficient and polite.
Well, I found Wren by chance . A friend had just changed jobs to be with Wren . I valued his opinions on products I had purchased previously from another company . So if he was basing his future career on this company I decided that their products had to be seen.
The comparison at the Oxford branch between Wren units with two other leading makes and the deal which included Neff equipment coled with the price made my decision easy. As they say, a No Brainer.
The service backing my purchase was superb, everyhing arrived on time, I was kept fully informed of delivery date and time, and all items arrived in perfect condition.
My kitchen fitter was extremely impressed and has now recommended Wren to his other clients, in fact, he is reluctant to fit anything else !
We have recently had a new extension bulit and to have a new kitchen fitted was a big decision for me .
We went to Wren kitchens first as been recommended by a work college , the show room was fantastic and staff very helpful . We found the staff to be honest about their kitchens and passionate about the quality of them also.
We went to other kitchen places but none of them were a patch on Wren.
Our kitchen designer was Rob Trice from Southampton branch who was very patient and helpful as I can be quite indecisive !
We were really pleased with the design and after agreeing on a price which suited us, we ordered the kitchen.
We have to say the communication from Wren was first class, keeping us in the picture for delivery info etc... the kitchen arrived as planned and when fitted was perfect, such good quality and stunning design.
There were a couple of tiny screws missing and one handle, after a quick phone call to customer services who were most helpful the missing bits came in the post the day after!
When we initially looked up Wren kitchens on the internet there were some bad reviews , we are so glad we ignored them because in our opinion they are truly first class and so much so we have recommended to a friend who has just ordered his kitchen from Wren.
Happy customers :)
Having looked at a number of suppliers for our kitchen cabinets we opted to make an appointment with a Wren consultant to discuss our needs and see what might be possible and what to expect in terms of product quality, cost, delivery timescales and other relevant terms and conditions.
The consultant we met in the showroom appreciated that we had a good idea of what we wanted and guided us (with knowledge) through a range of different styles of cabinets. He offered constructive ideas and was most positive about the production methods and standards of the cabinets. We made a number of trips to discuss variations (on a theme) but once the scheme had been finalised we met again to discus minutiae, such as handles for the cabinets, and agreed the order.
Delivery was as scheduled, on the day, maybe a little early for us but it has to be done and the crew delivering the units were most professional in their work. Once all had been unpacked some while later any discrepancies were sorted out quickly and with minimum fuss. (There was only one slight problem, but inconsequential).
Our overall impression has been very high in all aspects - range, quality, price, value, customer service from all members of the Wren team and particularly Mr John Ford at your Poole showroom.
As you know Jackie and I have been thinking of a new kitchen for about three years now, well the last one was 24 years old. I was looking around on the internet and up came Wren Kitchens and to be honest I can't say I had heard of them but thought I would take a look at their website.
I was very impressed by design and the fact they carry a 20 year guarantee and are supplied fully assembled.
Of course they [like everyone else] say they have great offer and will beat all other quotes, yeah right.
I liked what I saw though so I checked and found they had a showroom on Newport Road in Cardiff, after some thought and a further browse this time with Jackie we went along to see what they had. Seems if you make an appointment they will sit down and design the whole thing with you, so we asked and they managed to fit us in. And boy did the design guy Jeff Mytton really know his stuff. We chose one of their Autograph Kitchens in stone grey gloss and with Jeff's suggestions got the most beautiful kitchen all laid out in a colour printout.
However you know me I do everything myself and the previous quotes were so much money even with me fitting it all etc., so i must admit when the price came up at the end I thought wow that's so good, I mean we were having the lot, cooker, Induction Hob, Extraction and they even had an offer on the built in Dishwasher for £49 reduced from £400. So after a coffee and pause for thought we signed up and bought it.
Two weeks later I had a phone call asking if we could accept delivery 2 weeks early. Well of course as I was doing the installation myself that was a bonus, All arrived on the day and was unloaded and checked off half in the garage and the items I wanted first straight into the kitchen.
Everything boxed and protected like it was gold plated, never seen so much cardboard. When we unpacked the first box [tall larder] we thought oh no! it's the wrong colour it was green not grey! Panic quickly over when Jackie realised they even wrap the doors in plastic, even tricky to peel it off, never seen anything so well protected. Anyway the whole installation went went without a hitch, mind as you know from the time i did yours i don't like the cupboard fixing brackets, but having said that if you position them with great care they really are solid.
Well I finished tiling and cleaning up yesterday and I have to say we are both totally chuffed with the whole job, couldn't have made a better decision.
I would recommend Wren and have already done so
They have given me a beautiful kitchen, the process was good the fitter (Paul and his guys) were great and few things hadn't arrived (glass splash back and lights) but they did as they promised chased things up and now I have the most fabulous kitchen
They price matched appliance and Stuart Geddes the kitchen planner was great and when the kitchen was complete he came and inspected it and made sure we were happy with it -I would have no hesitation in recommending Wren to anyone
My previous kitchen was designed and installed by me 30 years ago using Magnet and Southern units. It still looked good so I was anxious to ensure that the replacemennt would be of equal or better quality. The Wren kitchen selected was much easier to install than the previous one and helped considerably with the superb door hinges and wall unit suspension brackets enabling simple alignment in all directions and easy detachment of the doors. General constructon is solid and sound with a beautiful finish. A big advantage is the greater depth of wall units compared with most other kitchens. A disadvantage which caused some problems was the limited depth behind each unit, sometimes insufficient for the services to run behind the units. Delivery of my order was fast and regular contact at all stages from placing of order ensured that I knew exactly when it would arrive, Service of Wren staff was superb both before and after delivery. I am delighted with my new kitchen.
Peter our sales guy at team valley was such an expert. He had excellent advice and listened to our needs and concerns, he didn't focus on the product straight away. He matched our needs with his solutions. Spot on. Our account manager megan was always contactable. Delivery was within the time frames agreed which was really quick. The delivery team were spot on too. We can't fault anything of the process. Nice to have a follow up email from the company director too with his mobile number on it. Nice to see senior management are contactable if needs be. Very reassuring. Kitchen is of excellent quality. We know we made the right choice going to Wrens. Ask for Peter! We were dreading the sales experience but were pleasantly surprised! Thanks
We have enjoyed the whole Wren experience, from walking in the showroom door, experiencing the showroom floor, the planning, the price - great value for money, the advise and being listened to mean't we bought what we wanted not what a salesman thought we should buy! The support from start to finish was undoubtably the best we have ever received when spending money on such an important room in our home. We only hope words are enough because if you saw our kitchen you would want it too. We can only thank Wren for making us very happy and giving us a great environment to entertain our friends and family in.
After 18 months of new-kitchen-quote shopping around and several changes of mind we eventually got a quote from Wren and signed up almost immediately. No regrets at all and I am delighted with the new kitchen. I felt Wren stood out from the rest because of the flexible payment plans they offer combined with the pride they have in their no-flat-pack-ready-assembled-delivery and all made in the UK. The showroom was always busy whenever I went in which I think is a positive sign of a good company, especially in these tough economic times. Any queries/issues were promptly dealt with with efficiently. The best compliment I can pay is that I would without doubt recommend Wren to any of my friends and family.
I am very happy with my Wren kIitchen and the service provided. Although I had it installed by a local builder the support I received from beginning to end was fantastic. The price I paid for my solid wood door kitchen was circa £1500 cheaper than their competitors. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family and I will use them again if I need to.
From design to finish we have bee delighted, every step has been easy and supported. The quality of work is superb and I have the kitchen of my dreams at an affordable price. I simply cannot reccommend Wren highly enough!!!!!
I work for a Builders Merchant & we do a range of kitchens so l did my homework before searching the market for my new long awaited kitchen. I don't mind naming who l viewed & shared it began with Focus ( back in 2011) was not impressed. Then followed by Naylor Myers/ Howdens/ Selco & Howdens 2nd visit still not convinced. The layouts they all created were weak & basically exactly the same but a different colour unit. I wanted a break from my 20 year norm & wow did Wren do that for me. We visited Huddersfield showroom & managed to get a Representative that same day. After deciding which unit l wanted & that alone was a problem! So many to choose from? Darren planned & printed off my 3d effect of just how my kitchen would look. I needed no further prompting. I knew that was exactly what l wanted. From that moment to the dates given for various trades to come out measure up & double check all would fit from my measurements given. They gave a delivery date followed by instalment date & kept to those dates. The fitters were fantastic clean helpful & friendly suggesting sometimes alternative options which suited better than original plans I could not recommend anyone more obliging than this gem of a Company. Five stars from me Wren.
First class all round: all through the experience (from the first time we walked into the showroom, the measuring up, the planning/ordering, the confirmation of order, payment procedure, the fitting) was exceptional. The fact that we had a single point of contact to act as a liaison for all aspects (delivery, fitting etc) was extremely useful - it made any queries/questions easy to ask and receive a response.
It didn't stop there either: the personal 'at home' service for checking the work had been completed as agreed AND to the required standard was a pleasant surprise.
i would recommend WREN to anyone in the market for a new Kitchen without any hesitation at all.
The finished kitchen looks superb and the quality and price are second to none. There are one or two fiddly bits such as the adjustable corner on the base units and the dummy draw under the sink is difficult to adjust the alignment , but other than that installation was relatively straight forward. Their installation guide was extremely useful and they really should give it more prominence on their website. I'm sure it would save them a lot of phone calls from do-it-yourselfers.
Altogether a very good experience.
All people involved in our new kitchen were very helpful from the designer when he came to the house and in store, the receptionists and the fitters. We had problems outside of wrens control just before delivery but they were very accomodating and managed to even help us sort the problems so our kirtchen could still get fit asap. The kitchen is of high quality with solidly made units and a nice finish. The extra tall cupboards are a real bonus for fitting extra stuff in in a small kitchen. Was worth spending the extra money to other companies like B and Q for the quality but was cheaper than other high end kitchens like magnet and wickes. Will definately use again but dont think it will be any time soon as will be keeping this for a long time now!
The experience from start to finish was very smooth. The planning and ordering process went well and all items were delivered as expected with no shortages or mistakes. We hired our own kitchen fiter who also did a great job.
Alll in all very pleased with the results.
Straight from the start on entering the showroom we were welcolmed by the staff, directed to a designer who lovingly dealt with our requirements for a kitchen, once completed was shown the 3D drawing and asked if the design colour etc was as required.
Told the process of what happens next and when to expect kitchen delivery. All through the process we were updated on progress, kitchen delivered on time,Excellent workmanship on the units, excellent worktops and sink unit, and exceptional service from WRENS,
I cannot praise this company enough for their high standards and exceptional customer service, Their staff are a credit to the company. Will definately recommend this company to every one i know ,and have done so already.
WELL DONE WRENS
Planning was good and a problem alcove was sorted via prior discussions with the planner and fitter. Job done when said but wrong coloured handles (in a box that contained the correct larger handles and labeled as correct!!) but quickly couriered out and fitted.
Follow up care good.
Well when I was looking at kitchens I decided to give Wren a visit because I was told about the new showroom that's had just opened & It was amazing to see full size kitchen displays & not just little bits dotted around. Got talking to the sales team and I was real surprised to see that the prices are not as bad as you would think! the kitchens look amazing, some great designs & fancy worktops & all within the budget I had in mind. Best of all the sales team allowed me time to make up my own mind, not all in your face & pushy. I am going to go back & look at the Bedroom showroom now the kitchens done. You wont be disappointed !
Sounds a cliche but from the moment I entered the Basildon store I knew I was in the right place. The designer Richard listened to what I wanted and steered me to a suitable design, the delivery guys were excellent and didn't even blink when they had to carry the entire kitchen 100 yards from the lorry to the house and Trevor the fitter - what can I say about him . He certainly put the hours in and the end result is far better than I expected. There were a couple of glitches but they were put right quickly and simply. Was it expensive? Not really, I could have gone somewhere else to save a few bob but I genuinely dont think that I would be as happy with the finished product as I am with Wrens.
Kitchen is now finished and looks absolutely fantastic. Everything was spot on from the 3D planning to the delivery. We self installed and everything slotted into place easy, with no knocked corners or scratched end panels it looks great. Sales guy listened and gave us what we wanted and guided us when required.
After having searched around many kitchen retailers, my husband and I were near meltdown point until we went into Wren, Parkgate at Rotherham.
We were just walking past the shop on the retail park but decided to call in as it was one retailer we had not looked at.
The displayed kitchens looked amazing and we both thought they would be out of our price range. An assistant approached and asked what we had in mind. She then showed us various options before passing us onto a designer. We gave the measurements of the kitchen and after approximately 6 designs, he finally came up with our 'dream kitchen'. I asked the price expecting it to be in double figures and it wasn't!!! In fact it was quite reasonable, still about £1000 over budget.
When I told the designer of the budget in mind, he changed a few things around ie. worktop, handles etc and somehow managed to get it bang on budget!!!!!!
We were gobsmacked to say the least, a great kitchen at an affordable price!!
We signed there and then ordered the kitchen which arrived 3 weeks later and was fitted by a joiner we knew. With the cupboards already built made it easier and the joiner said it was a good kitchen easy to fit.
One of the doors came damaged, this was easily sorted and delivered after 2 days.
So happy with the final result, something I thought was impossible on our budget but WREN did it!!!
Thank you so much
From stepping into the showroom to our installed kitchen we have been impressed with the selection of displays, the attractive showroom, politeness and efficiency of salespeople and quality and range of kitchen units.
We were able to discuss our requirements and plan our kitchen with Alan our salesperson who was efficient and helpful.
( He also made a good cup of coffee!!!)
After sales have been second to none and we we recommend Wrens kitchens without reservation.
I shopped about for my kitchen, I tried all kitchen stores but could not get the kitchen I wanted, then a friend recommended wren, we got the kitchen we wanted at a price we could afford and the quality. They ere easy to deal with and very professional and would use them again in the future. They was no hard sell just good friendly advice.
Our search for a kitchen seemed endless, some suppliers/ manufactures had the products but definitely lacked in the design expertise & basically couldn't be bothered, they just wanted to give us a standard layout. Immediately from meeting our design consultant (Gill,Bolton store) Gill understood my needs/wants, although not a pushover gave options, & what if's with valuable product knowledge.
Delivery was again expertly handled by two chaps who were courteous & helpful with checking products. Quality built all assembled & well wrapped.
Only small gripe I wish I could have had a small sample of wood/colour for decoration/matching purpose . I was offered to lend a panel for a couple of hrs.
We live north Wales Anglesey so this was impractical.
Since we first discussed our kitchen plans with our designer at the local branch at Chester, we were put at ease, without the feeling we were being pressurised to make choices. Brian was helpful and knowledgeable ( and had a sense of humour!). We were guided to the end result after about 3+ hours of planning and discussion. We felt it was time well spent. We were not being advised to buy parts we didnt want, and Brian actually saved us some money with useful suggestions I was able to implement with my DIY skills (such as they are!). Delivery was to schedule and painless. Some small defects on parts were quickly replaced without argument. I fitted the kitchen but left the worktop fitting to a local guy recommended by WREN. We aim to refurbish our utility area to a similar style in a couple of months. The kitchen units are high quality and good value. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend WREN to friends and family - plus the 10% offer, balance in 12 months is an excellent deal.
Just had our kitchen installed. 100% happy with the whole process & we wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to any of our friends. From start to finish the Doncaster manager couldn't have been more helpful. We'd like to say a big thank you to all the team.
I have been very pleased with everything about my experience with Wren kitchens. From the initial enquiry to the final plan and delivery. I chose to install myself, which has been very easy; the cabinets are pre-assembled, which saves a lot of time. The staff at the Ipswich branch are very easy to deal with and I would recommend to my friends.
Purchased the kitchen in Sept and goods delivered in stated time.
We had a small few issues but all resolved quickly and with a smile
Ensure you pick the correct units and see the pricing as some units are very expensive.
The white goods are a competitive price which makes it easier than trawling the net. All in all happy with purchase
Right from the moment we walked into the Wren kitchen showroom in Bristol we were made to feel very comfortable choosing our kitchen. Sue, our sales assistant and kitchen designer was exceptionally helpful but not too pushy. She designed a wonderful kitchen and came to the house to check everything would fit perfectly. Nothing was too much trouble. We made several visits and a few changes before we settled on the final design.
The kitchen units arrived already assembled not flat pack. We used a local kitchen fitter. The kitchen is very good quality and looks absolutely fantastic. We were very pleased with the price. I have already recommended Wren to several friends.
I would recommend Wren to anyone!
My new bedroom is amazing, the quality and fitting is outstanding. I would highly recommend Wrens I was kept informed about my order ,delivery and fitting through out. Frpm sales ,delivery, aftersales and fitting staff I can only praise their customer service. EXCELLENT
Although we haven't opened our boxes yet we know that if there should happen to be anything wrong Wren will sort it out for us. For Richard our kitchen designer nothing was too much trouble. Despite a 'blank canvas', a very dusty house in the process of renovation, he managed to come up with a design which we're eagerly waiting to have built within the next two weeks. Watch this space...!
Very pleased with the fitted kitchen and the way it was fitted. From the beginning of the process to the fitting was a very good service.
The store manager of the new Solihull store Mr Gill is very customer focused who made sure all my concerns were delt with a visit to home address to returning phone calls.
My only criticism is Wren Kitchen selling CDA appliances which in my opinion are sub standard, should focus in selling Neff and Bosh appliances.
My advice to Wren Kitchens would be to separate there kitchen design and selling there kitchens into two separate operations.
This would allow a good kitchen designer to design you a stunning new kitchen using there design flare with CAD 3D software as a tool to get you involved in see you new kitchen develope, there should be no pressure on the designer to sell. This should be delt with a sales person.
We were impressed from the start with the care taken with measuring and designing to meet our requirements. Once we confirmed our order, we were assigned a named contact to manage the delivery. Queries were dealt with quickly and efficiently. The kitchen was supplied for a self install and the finished kitchen has a real wow factor.
We have been putting off having a new kitchen fitted for as long as I can remember. he thought of all of the disruption was enough to put up with the old one for a bit longer. One Saturday we visited Wren kitchens and it all started from there. The salesman was brilliant. He arranged to visit the house, took all of the measurements and then we were invited back to have a look at, and discuss, the design. Nothing was too much trouble and he spent hours helping us choose the units, worktops, appliances, handles. The date for fitting was agreed and we were kept fully informed all the way through. The kitchen fitter was a true professional, possibly the best workman that we have ever had. The finished kitchen looks fantastic! Well worth the wait------I wish that I had done it earlier. Thanks to everyone at Wren.
