So now, after all the months of waiting, the weeks of dreading the upheaval, it's done! Although there was a day's delay in starting the work, the two lovely fitters worked hard to get the job done and.....Voila!.....two and a half days later it's all done. Now I have the tough job of deciding where all my Stuff should live....and while we're on that subject...why do I need all this Stuff. A perfect opportunity to weed things out.
Anyway, back to the kitchen and its installation. The fitters.....shall I name them? Yes, Mick and Dave, were friendly, polite, hardworking and didn't demand more than the occasional cup of tea, which was a good thing, seeing as I had to fill the kettle in the bathroom.....from the tap, you understand, but even so. Most of the time I just left them to it, only occasionally poking my nose through the door to see how things were coming along. They stayed until mid-evening to finish off, then vacuumed all the cabinets and floor, finally removing all the rubbish outside. So, all that's left for me to do is admire my fab new kitchen which, as I said, might be small but it is, now, perfectly formed.
I am really pleased with my choice of cabinets and appliances, and equally pleased I chose Wren to do the job. I never felt pressured into buying anything I didn't want, or choosing them over another supplier. Would I choose Wren again? Well I hope I don't have occasion to have a kitchen fitted again, but yes, I would. Would I recommend Wren? Yes I would.
A big Thank You to all involved....Anthony the designer, and Mick and Dave the two fitters....oh and Chris the electrician.
One final word....why does my kitchen look bigger with more cabinets in it! Weird, but it does.
