Out of all the companies I've used for domain registrations 123-Reg is always the company I recommend to friends and family. They're fair in their pricing, their support and live chat system is great and they're always helpful and friendly.
In the 5 or so years I've used them I've never had a problem. 123-Reg all the way!
123-reg is good, but i see it a bit complicated. not as friendly use as godaddy.com Still I like to have an account with 123-reg coz i trust their Customer Support Team. Like Adelina who supported me with my queries. Thanks Adelina

I'm sure many companies offer the same services as 123-reg, but what I've noticed is that in the main their helpdesk online 'chat' team really does want to help.
I've had one less than perfect experience, but when it comes to the technology/IT side of things, overall I am delighted that I have chosen 123-reg. Very friendly support staff - which makes running a small business without its own IT department much easier.
Been with 123-reg for sometime for my domains and other things.Support is fantastic and very quick to reply and very quick at helping to sort out any issues you may have.

The site is fairly straight forwards, did have a few issues but the team at 123 were more than fantastic and sorted them out within 10 mins, so 2 calls over 2 day and now all looks fantastic................... Thanks guys

I won't pretend that 123-REG have provided an entirely problem-free service over the last twelve years - but the fact that we have stuck with them for all our domain needs over that time must say something.
With the new live chat support facility and a genuine willingness to help the service has taken another big step forward. Hopefully we will be with 123-REG for the next 12 years as well!
To this particular problem this company was very fast and professional dealing with situation, Before doing any bad reviews it would be better to contact them first as in this occasion they were outstanding.
I was told it would take 2 hours to change my website over from windows to Linux, it has taken over a day and I have been given the wrong settings and information on multiple occasions. The advisors on the phone have admitted mistakes of other advisers whenever I have called but never apologised for them.
I recently opted for 123 reg for my new website in wordpress and although I had a few complications, this was more down to my lack of knowledge. I contacted 123 reg and they helped straight away and actually sorted the wordpress part out for me.

I have been using 123reg for a few years for my domain registration and this year I signed up for there unlimited web hosting account.
And they have just added there new Hosting Control Panel its fantastic its easy to navigate and you stay within the control panel and not move away like the old one its faster easier to install wordpress and the like. Also I am ranking better here in the UK as there severs are in the UK
I was finding it frustrating trying to get my website up and running and having trouble with pointing the domain at the host.
I went onto "live chat" - and Marian was fantastic. She sorted the problem for me immediately and then gave me a "Help Guide" for the future!

having dealt with other hosting services before 123-reg makes setting up an internet presence a lot easier. Having struggled for a while on a certain topic I was lead to live-chat support whereby they offer you immediate guidance. Other sites I have had to wait for a day to get a reply via raising a ticket, this was unproductive and frustrating. Having know-how employees on a chat-forum is the best thing I've witnessed for online assistance in a while and would not have been able to accomplish what I have without them.
I was pleased with their service and quick response and we got to a solution pretty quickly without feeling talked down to.
I think I might win a car by uploading this - fingers crossed!
Competative prices, with plenty of instructions on how to create your website, set up email, and/ or buy your website address. There will allways be teething problems when setting up something as complex as this, but with their online help, and offline support, I have always been back on track in a short time.
I was trying to get hold of the live chat support people. It kept saying they were busy. But when I finally got hold of them. The man was patient and went through all my questions and resolved them.
So far dont have too many hiccups if there are any then they get resolved fairly quickly.
new apps and options within the new control panel are a lot better.
I had a problem with re-directing the pages and the support team helped me fix my problem in 5 minutes!
Have been using 123-Reg to organise my business website and their support has always been excellent. The chat is really easy and the guys who help out with issues are very good. Novice as I am, I had an issue pointing my website to the right place and it was sorted in no time by Gabriel. Much appreciated. Only thing with 123-Reg is that I wouldn't recommend their Website Builder for a professional website unless you are using their templates. Its not designed to help you build from scratch, which is what we wanted. I will be sending a letter to 123-Reg to explain the issues we had.

Normally I would receive a URL pointing me to your help files.

Well I have been using 123-reg for years with no problem, until last week. When I needed to change over 50 domain name servers so submitted a ticket only to be told system admins had left at 5.30pm and it would be looked at in the morning. I'm now 5 days in and still have nothing at all... NO TIME SCALE, NO RESPONSE (automated only) and NO NAME SERVERS CHANGED.
I've had a few issues with my server (but I also know people with 123 who haven't had any) but universally, the support staff have been top drawer and have exceeded my expectations.
I have a VPS which became corrupted due to a 123Reg upgrade, in my mind this is unacceptable but the support staff helped me get things back up online.
You can't help but feel that support sometimes have their hands tied by policies they have no control over, but if it came down to it, I would recommend 123Reg and I have been very satisfied by the customer service if not necessarily the reliability of my purchase.
