A GREAT COMPANY TO DEAL WITH
Before I ordered my doors I checked with the company if they were in stock and was told they were, however after placing my order I was then told that my doors wouldn't be in stock for another couple of weeks and that the doors that were in stock were actually the "L" rated ones which were quite a bit more expensive but because the company had made the mistake they supplied the "L" rated ones instead at no extra expense, a gesture I thought was very good. All the people I dealt with at Kershaw's Doors were very helpful and friendly and when the doors arrived I was more that delighted with them. I will certainly be buying from this company in the future and have recommended them to all my friend's.

Very helpful, delivery date issue
Very helpful. Kershaws delivery day didn't match the depot day. They said Friday, it was delivered Tuesday.

Helpful, professional personal service
Kershaws treat you like an individual, and after the first call to a named person, you are treated as a friend, as they show their knowledge of your order, and help in every way possible. When I wanted to add something to my order, they even added it and included it as part of the main order, meaning that it was delivered free of charge.
Their inclusion of detailed finishing instructions was a helpful bonus.

1st class door, 1st class service
1st time I have dealt with Kershaw's. Very helpful on the phone, placed the order on the internet, door arrived when agreed, and was very well wrapped.
The whole thing was very professional and the quality of the door and side panels is exceptional for the money.
I think it was Richard I spoke to on the phone before ordering, who couldn't have been more helpful. Their courier is also ultra polite and courteous.
Hope this helps, but I would not hesitate to recommend either the company or their products

This company will not close the door in your face.
Excellent service from the start. ordering was easy plus they had the size of door in stock which i needed (21") for 2 small cupboards which exactly matched the design of the larger doors i ordered and they were all imperial sizes. Delivery was arranged well in advance and i was kept informed of the delivery by the driver.

A positive experience worth repeating!
The whole buying process is clearly defined and easy to follow. The stock variety is sufficient, and the email interaction with sales staff [Ian], offers a quick response. I would however want to see the manufacturing of the products to be done in the UK, so we can create jobs in the UK. We will never get the benefit of scale translating to lower prices for UK manufactured products, if we keep on sending orders off-shore! Why don't you take a lead on this?

Excellent supplier and product.
I have just purchased a New Oak Front Door from Kershaws Doors. The service has been exceptional, the door is excellent quality, and was delivered by couriers whom were extremely polite and curtious. From the minute I ordered my door the company checked my order, before dispatch and kept me up to date with the delivery by e-mail, text and phone. I am really pleased with the service., and would not hesitate to order again. I highly recommend this company to any other future buyers. Thankyou for a job well done!!

Good value for money and prompt customer service... Delivery later than stated but ok
I would recommend Kershaw doors for range of product, customer service and attention to detail. Good personal contact on ordering and just before delivery to confirm that the products I ordered were ready for delivery.
The only slight annoyance was I had paid extra for fast delivery but on the confirmed date they didn't turn up! As it was the delivery co were v apologetic and delivered the door and frame the following week.
Overall I would recommend Kershaw to anyone looking for good quality products at a good price

Great doors, but ...
The doors are great good quality and look great, and they were at a super price.
I had the doors ready primed so that I just have to gloss paint them.
BUT, why do you guys have to strap them so tightly in the packaging, with NO PROTECTION under the strapping.
My door have ugly imprints from the strapping being so tight, so now I have to rub down, possibly fill and re-prime the wood. All the work I wanted to avoid.

The finish on one of the doors' face sides (both sides) was uneaven but other than that i was happy with the quality, seemed like sturdy manufacture

Excellent service, would thoroughly recommend
I recently purchased a front door from Kershaw doors and the service was excellent.
Regular e-mails kept me up tp date with the delivery schedule and when there was a query on the day of delivery they were quick to respond and got back to me as promised.
When the door arrived it was well packaged and I am delighted with the quality.
Now hung and chuffed!

Very happy customer
I purchased 7 pre-moulded doors and had to order one bespoke door to fit an odd sized doorway. I am very happy with them all. The service was excellent and Kershaws held on to my delivery for several weeks while I waited for my carpenter.
The door handle/lock/hinge packs were also ideal. Stylish and good quality.
Good product, good service. Recommended.

Not great.
The website said 'usually despatched the same working day', this actually turned out to take about 5 days... and then the order got put on the wrong lorry and we had to wait until after the weekend. We put the order in late Friday and it was finally delivered 10 days later; for the £36 delivery charge I expected better.
Fortunately I wasn't in a rush.
Frame looks okay and the price was reasonable.

Good follow up
One of the three glass panels in the front door isn't set quite square in the frame. Not really a massive visual impact, and probably not noticeable if you're not looking for it. However, now we know, I'm sure we'll keep seeing it...
Also, the door wasn't transported very carefully - there are several markings down the side where the straps have held it to the truck. They will rub off with a bit of work, but a cloth or rag placed under the strap during transportation would have easily avoided this.
However, it's a well made door, good quality overall and good value.
UPDATE: having posted the above I received two calls from Kershaws Doors with some very good advice on rectifying the problems noted, which I was pleasantly surprised with. An honest, friendly service with prompt follow up - you can't ask for more than that.

Friendly staff , excellent service and reasonable prices
We were looking for 9 new internal doors of non standard size. Having googled doors with our sizes we found Kershaw'sdoors to be quite nearby with a showroom. We found the place OK and got some very useful advice and assistance from Ian. We took a brochure and price list. We then phoned through our order and secured a good price for 9 doors and full sets of door furniture.
Kershaw'sdoors stored the doors for us until our joiner could fit in the job. The doors were then delivered to kerbside and just fitted. We are very very pleased. Highly recommended. John Welham , leeds

No problem Internal door replacement
Doors provided were in good condition and well liked by the door hanger.
Taking a long time to paint! but it will be worth it in the end, the doors really look superb.
Only down side was the lock block was not exeactly as stated on the paperwork and some of the handle fixings missed the block. However, this was overcome without too much difficulty.

Unclear website and not very helpful staff to resolve problems
I originally ordered fire doors. These were not supplied correctly. Very expensive delivery charges which are a hidden cost and not 100% obvious on webiste. Webiste layout and clearness of what you are ordering is awful. Difficult staff and were charged to send back wrong items and a re-stocking fee. Dreadful.

Option of door in pine was just what I wanted,
Due to it being painted. It was primed and glazed. Good price, very helpfull staff. Would have given them 5 stars but had to wait an extra week after purchase so 4 stars.
