Thanks to 3000RPM for the excellent advice and help in planning the upgrade to my computer. Both the advice beforehand and the service afterwards have been first-rate. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble and my PC is performing superbly.
Bought a recon laptop on line but not happy as kept crashing & was really slow. \took it back within 7 days & swapped for an equivalent. No probs. Easy as you like. Really professional people to deal with, people who know what they are talking about. Would be happy to recommend 3000RPM.
i found the site very easy to use,the products on offer are good value,could do with more better quality products in the cd and dvd blank media area,but all in all a good site with very fast delivery and very well packed.
I put my Laptop into get repaired last week. There were some really good areas and some not so good.
Good things were the communication, speed of repair and the easy access to the the shop.
The area I was disappointed in was we paid to get the data transferred off our hard drive but the data for only one user was moved across. This has resulted in missing photos, music and documents.
I would also liked to a received the old hard drive back.
Service was good and would recommend them although disappointed with the above.
I have been buying from 3000 rpm for many years- they are usually very helpful and offer good quality products at competitive prices- I am especially a fan of their compatible Epson cartridges.
Unfortunately, I discovered a couple of year back that when using Google checkout, that the delivery charge is calculated incorrectly resulting in a higher charge.
Moral is, pay another way!
Gave PC for repair, work was done swiftly and at a good price BUT we gave landline number (no mobile) and received no callback to say repair ready for collection. We only found out when using a friend's PC to access emails and even then the message was in spam. The repair in fact was done on the day we handed it in (how's that for good service!) but sat there as we didn't know to collect it. Still, we would recommend this company and will use them again.
My previous experience of 3000rpm has been good. I have recommended all my friends who have computers to go there. The only thing that caused me a problem was the fact that so many of the files on my computer were deleted and I had to re-install for example Windows Basic visual express which is not a trivial operation, others such as Labjack software, Instromet software, Weather Display Software, and many more. It meant my system was off the air for well over a week, but I acknowledge that pert of that may have been my fault as there was a problem with the serial port which was possibly working all the time. Anyway it's all working fine now, although things won't be completely back to normal for several more days due to the loss of much weather data (most of which is in the Instromet hardware backup system).
I tried to order something on line last week to pick up at the warehouse, when I got to the checkout page I was being charged postage but when I tried to change the option to collect at warehouse it was not there. eventually I discovered that if I changed the county in my address to dundee the option to collect was there!!! I did collect the memory I ordered on Saturday at 5pm but when I got home I discovered it was memory for a tower system not the laptop memory I had ordered, I had to come in from Forfar on Sunday to get the correct memory. Not the kind of service I have come to expect from yourselves 9I have dealt with you for a few years now without any problems, hope this is a one off ! I will continue to leave my county as Dundee so I can pick stuff up
I delivered my lap top on the Wednesday to have a virus removed and a good clean up.
This was done to a high and fast service, i had a problem longing on not the fault of 3000 RPM 1 text to them and they phoned right away and solved this over the phone i'm very happy with the service given & work done, my laptop is now running much faster , thanks 3000 RPM will use you again .....
I was delighted to hand my computer into workshop on a saturday and have it repaired and ready for collection on the sunday. A 9-5 week day service would have been very difficult for me to access. I would use this service again and recommend it to friends
Almost perfect, handed in my HP Pavilion dv7 to have a broken hinge replaced. Friendy staff seemed knowledgeable and the laptop was returned after a couple of days. I liked how they use texts to keep you updated on progress and inform you if the costs will exceed the estimate. My only minor gripe would be £40 is slightly pricey to fix a hinge, and the sticker attached to the laptop lid was really difficult to remove! Recommended.........
Ordered goods to be uplifted from their store, received confirmation email swiftly with full instructions for pick up. When I picked the order up I was there for less than a minute, it was a nice easy transaction with no issues at all. Will happily deal with again.
The site was very easy to use and the ink we received is working perfectly in our machine and the same day local delivery was excellent, I cannot fault 3000 rpm and they will receiving and my business from now on ,excellent.
I originally came across 3000rpm on Ebay, but after getting burnt by another seller on there I decided that I was comfortable using it. When I found out that 3000rpm had a website, I checked it out and found that it was just as great a selection if not better.
I placed an order on Bank Holiday Monday and was very surprised that the order was picked and packed and ready for dispatch the very same day (within an hour in fact).
My order arrived well within the three days specified and was packed very well. I know the DVD's that I have ordered will be suitable for what I need them for as they are my regular brand. I haven't tried the inks for my printer yet, but they were so cheap that if they don't come up to scratch I am only out £3. Hopefully I will be surprised again.
I will definitely be using 3000rpm again and will when asked reccomend them to friends and family.

Up until today the order still have not arrive as on thurs 30 May 2013. No telephone number to call to find out what happen to my order. Try using the live chat a few time all cut off. Email them but take long time to get a reply.
