excellent service, really helpful could tell they were doing everything they could to fix my laptop! got it back within a day as good as new and at a really decent price! Thoroughly recommend 3000rpm and wouldn't go anywhere else if I need assistance again! Special thanks to Ian for his help and advice!
I had problems with the battery not charging after only 3 months 2 days after handing in my laptop, I received an e mail that a new battery had been fitted and at no cost.
along with the report I was informed that the machine was infected with malw (optimiser pro etc ) it would be advisable to book it in for a clean up. I will be handing the machine for a clean up next week.
I'd ran out of inks and had to have new ones sharpish.
I found 3000rpm's site easy to browse n right to the action.
Great competitive prices and a delivery that was real quick....cheers i'll be back for more :)
Would shop here again
Great service used a few times now for repairs. Great communication aswell received a text when repair was completed and ready to pick up. Would recommend these guys to anyone.
Phoned 3000 RPM on a Friday night, explained symptoms over the phone and I was advised PS3 was overheating and was told issue was fixable, either through a new fan or new paste.
Took PS3 in on Saturday morning, was quoted £50 to fix yellow light of death from someone at desk who did not fix PS3!
Received phone call the next Monday night saying they could not find anything wrong with my PS3 and it was working fine. Was advised to buy a new power cable. Bought the cable, took it home, switched on PS3, it shut down within 30 seconds.
I took a video of problem and returned console to 3000RPM. Customer advisor spent 20 mins telling me there was nothing wrong with PS3 and my video was no use and not relevant, before he finally agreed to book it back in.
I received a phone call the following Friday saying they had found the problem (which i was assured was not there earlier in week) and changed my PSU unit. I was charged £40 for parts and labour.
Took PS3 home, switched on and within 30 seconds it shut down! Again I returned the unit to 3000 RPM to be booked in again.
I was not offered my money back for the repair which did not work! Since Friday night I have received a text asking me how I thought the service was and now I have been asked to give a review on the following Wednesday! I am now wondering if anyone is looking at my pS3 as I seem to be receiving the usual post service communications!
So to summarise, I have been to 3000RPM 3 times in almost two weeks, been charged £40 for works that have not fixed the problem and at the time of writing I have no idea if anyone is looking into the problem!
Had I known I would be here at this point, after being advised over the phone the problem was easily fixed, I would never have taken it to 3000RPM.
This has led me to writing this review and I would not recommend 3000 RPM to anyone else at this stage. Ultimately I hoped PS3 is fixed, but I have no confidence it will be!
Best price I found after looking through many websites. Cheap delivery via courier (although I expect next day and received a day later. Not down to the merchant, but the courier themselves) Would most defiantly use this merchant again.
This is the first time I have ever ordered compatible inks for my printer and was pleased with the speed of delivery. I have yet to use them so can not comment on the actual printing. Very impressed with the packaging as each ink is individually shrink wrapped ( I had been warned about this as unwrapped inks dry faster?) and the price.... TOTALLY AMAZING!
I was told about your company by a friend who purchases his printer inks from you, and until I looked on your website for my self found it hard to believe the exceptionally low prices for your compatible cartridges. Your despatch is also very quick, unlike some companies where orders seem to go into a black hole. Look forward to dealing with you again. Many thanks.
My laptop had an AVG corruption and I need my laptop for puppy sales etc. I phoned 3000rpm and went to there premises booked my laptop in on the Saturday lunchtime and got it back Sunday afternoon - brilliant
HANDED IN MY LAPTOP FOR A REINSTALL OF WINDOWS 7 AS I DID NOT HAVE A BACKUP DISC.
THE GUYS DID IT IN SUPER FAST TIME AND WERE VERY HELPFUL WITH ANYTHING I ASKED THEM
WILL USE AGAIN WITH NO HESSITATION
The service was terrible, im sure the guys are tekkie and know there stuff, but how they deal with the public is a farce. I left my i-phone and laptop so my contacts could be uploaded, after being told i would have it back that day or the next it took three days, I was lied to to my face, being told the job was started which it wasnt. When i collected my laptop i asked some questions and was barked it by the guy serving me. i had witnessed him being asked the day before by another customer for some piece of equipment to which he replied dont know if its on stock, the customer walked out i wanted to shout GO AND LOOK self employed people will understand my frustration. was then charged for the bad service have asked for a refund still waiting well over a week.
In the end, my problem was fixed and almost a week later it still seems fine. I originally went to 3000rpm as my laptop screen just showed white and couldn't do anything. I went in on a Saturday and handed it in and paid the £15 to get it done quickly (I am a student and needed it for work). I was told I would be informed about the price of the repair before they did it, I was not, I got a call saying to come pick it up. They said they couldn't replicate the problem and it was fine but they hadn't fixed it. So I pay £30 and it worked for one evening. The next morning I turned my laptop on and same problem again. Went straight back at 8.45. They then told me the screen will need to be replaced and it might be up to £100. I wanted them to phone me when they had a price, as being a student I dont have £100 lying around. Got a call at 12 saying it is fixed and ready to pick up, no call of the price however a text was sent after they had phoned saying it was fixed. I went and picked it up, it was working fine, but I had to fork out another £65 (was supposed to be £80 but they took the £15 labour charge from the previous day off the price). So overall, yes my laptop is fixed but a lot of stress, especially over prices which I was not informed over, and the fact they said it was fine and it was broken again the next morning, A positive was that the second time i brought it in they got it fixed on the day. Overall experience was alright however I might ask around for other repair people next time.
