Got a replacement washing machine motor from them, at least 10 days faster than the local repairman could & put it myself. Only caveats were:-
1: Totally unnecessary doubt and anxiety caused by all the bad reviews about 4ourhouse on trustpilot, which I had read after ordering.
2:The DHL 24hr delivery was a day late which caused my wife to go spare phoning 4ourhouse & DHL. In contrast to DHL, 4ourhouse were very contactable, patient and polite, both by webform and phone, and did their best to chase up DHL, although it was pretty much out of their hands, and caused by bad practices at local DHL depot, which had falsely reported "customer not contactable", or somesuch, on the tracking information the evening before, when it probably never left the local depot till the next day

Company is a scam, someone who just cloned my card tried to clean out my account with charges to this company, don't use at all. Stay away from. Rated as 1 because I can't give lower.

Having read some very discouraging reviews in this forum, I am delighted to report that my experience has been brilliant. I ordered what I wanted, having made sure I had the correct information first, and within 4 days - despite postal delays - I received exactly what I wanted.
So many complainants overlook the fact that it is they who have screwed up their order requirements, by very poor research, and then blame the distant retailer for not being able to unravel their own stupidity.
I will use 4ourhouse again.
I ordered a power cable for my lcd tv, NEXT DAY DELIVERY it said.I needed it urgently as it was going into my wall before it was plastered. 7 days later and nothing, but showing in stock still for next day delivery. Phoned and customer services advised will be issued today or tommorow. Got the cable 14 days after order. HOWEVER>>>>>> The fools sent me a whole box of cables so i returned one for my money back and am selling the rest on ebay , i will consider this as compensation.
Because this company also trades as argos spares and can be reached from Kenwood and Argos sites as a place to buy spares, accessories etc I felt fairly safe when I ordered some Kenwood chef accessories. Though I was concerned that I had been told 2 versions regarding the returns policy (free/not free). The main company is called Connect Distribution Services and they inform me (reliably?) that they are indeed the merchant. I have seen websites under different names: argos spares, 4ourhouse, 4kenwood etc. so check what you are buying.
I wish I had read the reviews below and am seriously considering sending the link to this page to Argos and Kenwood. I can identify with those experiences and agree with them. The comments below have all been made to 4ourhouse customer services and so far they have only offered me their returns service where you may get some money back if they decide to do so.
I ordered a metal cutting blade and a plastic box to keep it in for my Kenwood Chef. The items took 2 weeks to arrive; the plastic box in particular was poorly packed with no padding around it; the parcel was left on the doorstep under my recycling box, not securely delivered (4oh said sort it out with the post office yourself); The plastic box to keep blades was not in a factory sealed box but opened and resealed, there were small scratches consistent with the item having been used and a big enough ding to stress the transparent plastic. When I phoned customer services are not at all concerned, I emailed and asked for a replacement and am now requesting this is writing, their response to my email was to ring at 9am to say I can't have it but they will send a returns label. After I asked several times what their policy is the assistant eventually said that 4ourhouse decide how much money they will refund when they have the item back to examine. She also questioned my assertions that the condition was unsatisfactory,'so you say', I had an email saying I had asked for a returns label when I had asked for a replacement and so it goes on. They do not listen to comments or complaints and they do not so far appear to be very honest.
I will continue to challenge this company's treatmentof myself as it really does look like a con and, no I will not send them back the goods for a vague promise of a part refund nor will I put up with them saying, 'so you say' in response to a complaint. I am now sending a letter (not that 4ourhouse were willing to give me a name or a job title when I asked who I should address letters to) as I do not consider that their customer service and their 'returns policy' is in line with my consumer rights. If I pay for new and believe I am told I am buying new then I should get new and undamaged goods. If they come up trumps and take back their not very new looking goods for a replacement or say, sorry here's your money back I would be more than happy to record it on this site. In the past another compay, La Redoute, sent me curtains which had obviously been sent out before as they smelt of cigarettes. Being a good company they replaced them without any fuss once they were informed that the item was not in new condition or acceptable. That was a sensible policy as they made up for their mistake. 4ourhouse does not seem capable of anything so consumer friendly. I will be searching out smaller, independent suppliers of spares and would advise other consumers to do so as the more Connect Distibution Services/4ourhouse move towards having a monopoly, the harder it will be to get spares and accessories from a reliable company.
Found customer services very unhelpful in identify what part i need. Ended up taking a photo of it and sending it them. They then sent me an unhelpful message that they couldn't offer technical support. All I wanted was to know which part to buy for a replacement handle for a Karcher carpet cleaner. Looks like I am one of the lucky ones that worked out this lot haven't got a clue before I sent them any money!

i ordered an item from this low life company for next day delivery which was a friday. i took a day off from my own business to wait in for it on the monday.
i phoned company on teatime as i hadnt received it and was told it had gone to a diff address and would get a call from them straight back. i never did so i rang them 3 times and was just told their were dealing with it. At about 7.20pm a kind lady knocked on my door with my parcel which had been delivered to her neighbour in a completely street. I`ve demanded my next day delivery charge back but told their cant as i received it but i was talking to a brick wall when i told them yes but not from you. if the lady hadnt brought it goodness knows when i would of received it. The customer services are terrible patronising and EXTREMELY ignorant to customers needs. Their all need to go on a course to learn how to deal with people because to me their have no education about them and this company seems to employ anyone off the street.

Just hope to get what you ordered. Take a screenshot of your order and clearly mark it. Send in video footage of your screen transaction. Have and incorporate witnesses. You will need them. Maybe call back on your company phone - it could be expensive. Not surprised at other feedback I have read.

Do not use this company. In my opinion they make money by hanging on to your money! its an interest cash cow. Sound Familiar?? You paid on ordering, wrong goods, could not get your money back. Cost you more in phone calls than the goods cost? Money for the calls, hanging on to your money for as long as possible, clever but in my mind its legal fraud.
I would rather shoot all my families pets than use this company

Having had nothing but lies from this low life company I tried Currys and found they were the same company presumably telling the same lies. I was told by Maria Vernon-Allen on Friday 5th June that Purchasing had ordered item - it would be in the warehouse Monday 8th and despatched immediatley. This evening 9th June I received a so-called courtesy call telling me my item was out of stock (which I already knew!!!) and would arrive in 2-4 weeks. I also tracked my order and it said that it had been despatched - yet another lie - the guy on the phone doesn't know why it says despached because it is not in stock. When you get a Senior Operator as Mrs Vernon-Allen telling lies - it is time for big bosses to look into the way their company is being run!!!!!

Customer Services is a joke and it is now apparently impossible to email them either. The online email contact form has NO "SEND" facility!

I ordered three 16" chain saw chains. They sent me the wrong size (13") which I returned. They promised a full refund ... but no, they now insist it was all my fault. John and later Janine of 'Customer Services' (0870 442 2510) said that they 'couldn't possibly have made a mistake'! So I'm now £12 out of pocket with no goods to show for it and they are laughing all the way to the bank. Watch this company ....... by the way, I got the (right) chains from espares (www.espares.co.uk) a few days later, no hassle and actually cheaper! Lesson learnt!

This company are shocking! They rely on the fact that they stock many parts for popular appliances, but only once they have taken your money (which is a lot - if you need to buy two parts you may as well purchase a new appliance!) they tell you that the items are out of stock. I waited for two weeks for replies to 3 emails, which were all ignored. When I phoned customer services some incompetent fool who couldn't understand what the problem was with the estimated delivery time - 4 months away!! They refuse to reimburse shipping, imposing a "surcharge" if you are unhappy with their shoddy goods. They are underhand and rely on being the sole supplier of hard-to-find spare parts, only to impart that they cannot deliver after pocketing your money. Spread the word that 4ourhouse are a waste of time and money.

They send out the wrong goods.
Charge you postage and keep you hanging on the phone.
Have terrible customer service staff who deny any wrong doing and refund costs.
Read the reviews on all the review sites and ignore them

Ordered on Easter Saturday because of lowest price, arrived Wednesday(Monday being a bank holiday), surprised that items were from original manufacturer rather than a look-a-like. Couldn't be better!

I ordered a washing machine part, they sent me a part for the wrong model then charged me outward and return postage, even though the mistake was made their end.
Despite me sending them emails and a recorded letter, they have completely ignored my request for a full refund.
I wish I had read reviews about this company first!

I ordered parts for my cooker and was told that the order has been despatched. It has now been three weeks and I still have'nt received parts although the payment went out of my bank quick enough. When I emailed them to find out where my order was they just replied that I needed to wait 15 working days. In this day and age why should it take so long for a small parcel to be delivered.I wont be recommending this company to anyone and needless to say I won't be using them again.

I called the company after recieving a thermostat for an oven rather than a freezer drawer front. The woman was huffing and puffing and issued a returns number but stated that a refund would be 28 days after I returned the item at my on cost, furthermore she wanted my to pay for extra delivery. As the goods was picked and checked by 2 numbers (717 and 709) there is no excuse for them getting the order code, account, order number, invoice number and tote number all wrong! service is disgusting if not bordering on fraud.

I ordered 2 copies of a spare part for a Hotpoint fridge/freezer. I received one copy immediately, great! Three weeks later I received what appeared to be a spare part for a washing machine! Could I get 4ourhouse to admit their error and put it right? No way! They simply weren't interested.
