Well worth using. I was kept fully informed at all stages from order to delivery. Price very competitive; much sharper than local supplier.

Shopping made easy

After a quick google search I found the chainsaw chain I had been looking for. Buying it was painless with no hugh forms to fill in about becoming a member. My product arrived very quickly and in tact even though the packaging was in very poor condition,but at the end of the day it was a chainsaw chain so unlikely to come to any harm.

Heaven is my log splitter!!

I bought a Lawnflite 7 ton Petrol Logsplitter LS65P from Abbey Gardens, and it is the best thing since sliced bread! It splits logs like a knife through butter, and is easy to use. The price was the best I had seen on the web, and delivery was within 3 days of ordering. This is the third time I have purchased items from Abbey and thoroughly recommend them.

Good price, fast delivery but....

On checking the delivery I found that one of the plastic ends on the lawn mowers rear adjusters was damaged. I reported this together with pictures/part number to Abbey to obtain a replacement and got no response!

I have to first apologies for the damaged part on the Hayter mower height adjuster. This broken part was reported to us on 25/04 at 10.01 (You sent a picture of a slight mark on the plastic) we ordered the part and had it sent to you post on the 29th April. We have had no information to say this was not delivered, and no review to say it was. I hope every things sorted out and that your mowers working well.

Clear concise advice and reliable service

I phoned for advice on replacement blades for a GTM1300 chipper. This took the place of a chat and I was transferred to a workshop engineer. A spare set of blades was dispatched and arrived promptly. Everything good.

Bargain mower

I bought the Hunter 21" mower after moving to a house with a much larger garden. The purchase was very straight forward and the mower arrived very quickly. However, it has sat in its box whilst we waitied for the late snow to clear and the grass to actually start growing. Used it for the first time this weekend and it worked very well. Its not the best petrol mower I've had but it is excellent value for money. A drive wheel came loose after 30 minutes but this was easy to screw back on and involved no more mechanical knowledge than the initial assembly. Also, the paint is already bubbling on the steel deck and I am concenred it will start to flake off very soon. One other thing of note is that the translated instructions could be clearer.

Great item at a great price, teething problems sorted courteously.

Purchased 42 inch Wolf on special offer for him indoors as a surprise birthday present, it arrived quicker than expected, which was brilliant. Some initial problems with the mulching kit, i.e. not delivered quite so quickly, but all issues dealt with very courteously. Staff very helpful, nothing too much trouble. Item is top quality, my unpaid gardener is delighted and the grass looks great. Highly recommended!

We always go back to the best service, its as simple as that.

W'll definetly use Abbeygardens again. Straight forward, simple and easy to use website. You can't say that about all web pages. The chain we bought was cheaper than the shops, even with post and packaging and to the price, its a win, win. We'll be shopping with them again.

Helpful but problems with delivery.

I recently purchased a rotary roller mower from Abbey with a special offer of a free service kit.

Abbey's response to advise it would be delivered directly from the manufacturer was prompt but advised that I would receive confirmation as to when it would be delivered. I received no notification so after 7 days phoned Abbey. They were extremley helpful and I understand arranged for another mower to be despatched to arrive in 2 days. I then received the mower the day after, so was not at home when it arrived. It was not left where I had requested and did not include the free service kit. I again telephoned Abbey to advise that the mower had been received and I was told the second order would be cancelled. I was promised that the free service kit would be sent immediately but to date (4 days later) it has still not arrive.

I suspect that the problems lie with the delivery from the manufacturer and Abbey have always been helpful when contacted but they do need to take control of the poor service from manufacturer if they are entrusting the delivery to them.

Excellent service, fast delivery, goods as expected

There was an issue in that the lawnmower I ordered had developed a fault in transit - this was spotted and I was given the opportunity to swap for a similar model. Once all agreed, the mower was delivered on time, and the driver contacted us ahead of the delivery to agree timings. When it arrived (given it is secondhand) - the condition was as described, and it had clearly recently been serviced and checked over.

Excellent fast website, telephone response and delivery

The website gave a good introduction to the lawnmower, in particular I was impressed by the clear, thorough video review given. Great price couldn't be resisted. Telephoned to confirm stock and one or two other things, and I was given a prompt and knowledgeable answer. Ordered one day, delivered the next, in use the day after to cut the boat park - excellent work.
The only complaint was the instruction manual. Badly copied and translated from Polish. Couldn't make sense of much of it, and I've done lots of MFI, B&Q and IKEA... having said that, the assembly video on the website was crystal clear and I had no problems.

Poor service

The wesite offered one mower but I received another. When I emailed Abbey Gardens asking for an explaination I was ignored and I still wait for a reply!
NOT HAPPY! I could have purchased this mower cheaper elsewhere.

Superb service and fast delivery

Great liitle wheelbarrow from Rolli.
Only place I could find in stock with differant colours, and fast delivey with good packaging to boot.
I would say however that it does take 2 people to assemble as there is a lot of holding and bolting to be done.
Once assemble very strong.
I fould the plastic handles easier to fit if left in hot water for a short while

Personal advice and quality service on a worrying lawnmower repair!

I was firstly impressed that I could access the parts I needed to repair my mower.Secondly I was encouraged by the by the friendly service and personal phone contact that I had indeed identified the correct part. A proforma invoice was made available by e.mail so ordering was simple and fast.
The goods were delivered three days later and installed straight away.
The lawn looks great!
And I now know where I can get expert advice on gardening tools and repairs...and doing it myself I can save money!

I phoned looking for a spare part for a strimmer. Not only was the lad I spoke to helpful and pleasant he found me a repair kit which cost a fraction of the full part. and even directed me as to where to find it on his website. The goods arrived the nexyt day as promised.
