Ordered an item 11th January but received an email advising that the item had to be ordered from their supplier to arrive with me at the end of January.
I then received a further email advising that the delivery date would be 24th February ,its now 15th March and still no item and despite them stating in their email "If you have any questions, please reply to this email and we will get back to you." I have emailed daily for the past week and had absolutely no response.
Surprisingly the last delivery date given was cut off date for a Paypal dispute to recover my money so this seems to be a deliberate ploy to rip me off and give me no way of recovering the purchase price paid.
I was very impressed with the filters that I bought from Abbey Garden. They were not easy to trace online. Abbey Garden appeared to be one of the few companies that stocked them. The price was reasonable and the service that I received was excellent. I will certainly be using them again.
Some goods were out of stock, and I had to wait until these were in before any of the rest of the order as sent. This meant I had to wait a bit. However, the prices are good and the stuff was exactly as I expected. I'll order again when I need something.
Product was good but delivery took a bit longer than expected due to item being out of stock. Information on delay was good and delivery fine when back in stock. Delay was approx 3 days. Not a bad effort.
I bought 2 Draper handsaws that were difficult to source elsewhere. Although the website didn't indicate stock levels, after placing the order I was quickly informed one of the items was not in stock. Nonetheless within 3 days the order was here, everything in perfect nick, albeit it took me some time to get through their protective packaging regime! Very pleased with my purchase though, wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them.
