I bought a Tiffany style desk lamp and lampshade. The desk lamp was perfect but the lampshade had a broken panel - the staff at Achica were really helpful and sorted out a replacement. Thanks Achica :)

I love the product choice as they offer things that are different and you can’t always find online. That’s the only positive!
Their delivery charge is high for smaller items, that’s just a small problem. The service is HORRENDOUS if you have a problem with an item. Which unfortunately I did with 3 items I bought. The problems ranged from damaged items and wrong fittings. Don’t get me wrong this is not all their products, as I have ordered over 20 things with them, but as a luxury lifestyle company, these should be luxury and not damaged.
The worse thing is their stupid “Contact US”, you can only get hold of them by their online email system, why don’t they have a phone line. Achica; if your managers or MD read this, look at how many of your customers are asking for this, you should offer what the customer wants to heighten their buying experience, it’s one of your main problems so sort it out. If you are capturing customers that buy luxury products, give them a luxury service, not that a phone line is luxury it’s just the norm.
Delivery times is another issue. They are so long. If they work with these suppliers, when they set the commercial terms up they should set up shorter delivery times. I have an order that was due by end of this week, I chased them and they have advised, it’s been delayed till later in December, how can this be, I ordered it weeks ago. They don’t tell you though, you have to contact them and find out, again not giving good service. On this note another item I bought and paid for, never arrived, I saw a refund in my account and asked them what’s going on, they advised, it’s out of stock. No communication, it’s just so poor, you can’t just refund and not tell them customer your item is not arriving.
I’m so angry with them I will never shop with them again. Best thing to do it copy and paste the wording from the item you want into google it, you will find it at some point.
I would highly recommend Achica, I have received the best of service when ordering, making enquiries and returning items. The service team reply very promptly and have been as helpful as possible. All of my items I have ordered (and there have been quite a few) have arrived within their specified time slot. The delivery company send out a text the day before to see if that date is acceptable for you and if not you can alter the delivery day or place. On the day of delivery you get another text giving you a time slot of an hour and all of my items have been delivered within that hour.
My purchases have been of high quality and I have been very pleased with them. There is a wide range of items to choose from and with different levels of cost, so something for everyone. Well done Achica.
Ordered a chevron duvet cover, waited a month, no news! Emailed them, they told me it would be here next week. Next week came and went, heard nothing, emailed them again, same excuse, next week. And again the next, and again. One day just noticed they had refunded me with no explanation. When followed it up, they said they were unable to source the items. No apology, no offer of compensation, nothing! So unprofessional and unreliable. Then, they had the same duvet covers on sale again a week later so I have just discovered. Wonder if the new purchasers will receive theirs? Use wisely without expectations and then you won't be disappointed!
I ordered a dining table on 1st November, the money was taken out of my account on 4th November and I eventually received the order today (26th November). I was not informed in advance when the table would be delivered. The courier sent me a txt at 12.30 yesterday to say they would deliver between 12.19 and 15.19, as I was at work this was no good. The table is damaged but Achica do not have a telephone number so I have filled out their on- line form. This is all very frustrating.
This is truly a great site where you can purchase unusual and luxury goods not easily found locally. With a great customer service and excellent delivery service, the wait sometimes experienced to get the goods you want is well worth it.
I was told I could only inspect the lamp shade once I signed for the delivery. There was an obvious scratch on the part holding the lamp shade but kept it because I couldn't see it once up on the ceiling. The delivery also came with the lamp shade reducer plastic ring. It didn't work, so I went to get a metal one from Amazon. Overall, it was a relatively good deal arranged by Achica. Hope there's more offers like this, e.g. from Lush Designs? :-)
I bought a set of trunks with Achica on 27th August. The items arrived on 19th September and the larger trunk was cracked on the bottom. I wrote immediately to Achica to notify them, adding photos to show the damage. They told me they don’t keep stock of their products so they would contact the supplier and revert back. They never did. Since then I’ve been chasing them around, asking for updates, asking for an estimate and I never got any decent reply. I’ve exchange more than a dozen of messages with the agents and only get empty/unhelpful/mistaken responses. One of them even said my replacement had been delivered already!!
I tried to appeal to social media but –obviously – their page is not open to posts so I couldn’t make my complaint public. A Customer Service Advisor contacted me after I tried to post on their wall on Facebook and said she would take over my case herself, admitted they had made mistakes – both poor communication and excessive delay- and sent me a mail from her personal mailbox (instead of the incredibly annoying Customer Care webpage) as a form of commitment to resolve. She mentioned compensation and assured me this would be resolved.
Well, this was on 4th November. I never received any further information. I wrote to the Advisor twice and only got a response after the second attempt – today (18th Nov). They say they expect to receive my replacement this week in their warehouse. Interestingly, I’ve heard that before – on 14th October when one of the customer service agents said the same thing.
It has now been 2 months since I received the damaged item and I don’t even have an estimate for replacement. I have the giant box in which the trunks came in sitting on my hallway - for 2 whole months. It’s disrespectful, to say the least.
ACHICA has been the worst buying experience I ever had. They can advertise any offer they like – not even for free I’m repeating this mistake.
This was only the second time I've used Achica and was a bit nervous as the first time I was sent smashed glass instead if a chandelier. However, you can't go wrong with bedding right? Wrong! One of the single sheets was in fact king sized. I only found this out after I had washed it (as it tells you to do before using) and started folding it up. I couldn't return it as now it wasn't in a saleable condition in its original packaging. I've given it 3 stars as they did get everything else right and it was a big order.
I have spent a lot of money over the past months, overjoyed with the goods......I am still waiting for the balance of ref:5360395-GSI, itemEM5007, sent you a query id:APL24BJ8Z2. Rec 13/11 in a battered box items -EM4004, OT-1500-8-TL I box only of 2 despatched from you on 31/10. Item EM4004 has folds. (Iwill not return,try to fix myself) I am a little reluctant to order more from your site at this stage althoughI I still have two more orders to rec. Sadly the couriers have let us both down. Item EM5007 is my major concern, a birthday gift for 17th Nov.

I've ordered 3 items from Achica at around the same time. they took weeks to arrive by DPD who text you a time slot and then fail to deliver any where near the time stated.
One item, a magnetic world map was not as described. It should have been framed & include magnets but didn't. Only option was to email Achica who took a couple of days to respond. In fairness they have offered to collect & refund on receipt.
Another item was damaged - I've repaired it. The other item is OK but quite what I was expecting from the photo.

Mirror is great and arrived safely in one piece. The problem was getting hold of the delivery agent, must have rung them over 40 times and always engaged. When I eventually spoke to them they said they only had ONE LINE and were having huge problems with BY getting more lines in. Not an easy situation for either buyer or distributor!!
I had ordered one very large chandelier and three crystal lights. I needed to return the chandelier and wrote a question via email. I had an acceptance note to say that the email had been received, but no response. I chased again, and no response. I think it is a great shame as the offers do appear to be of a good quality and interesting, however, given the fact that there is no method of actually speaking to anyone, I will not be placing another order as I have a complete lack of trust.
If you like a bargain, and like to window shop from the comfort of your sofa the Achica could be great for you. It is a membership only site, with a wide variety of quirky and stylish homewares, accessories, kids clothes, holidays. Try to find a friend who is as member to reccomend you, as they get rewards for doing so.
Delivery periods are variable, and deliveries may come in dribs and drabs, so don't use it for anything you are in a hurry for.
Only slight problem I have had was with a chair that didn't get delivered...but I could camncel it quite easily and with no push back.

I'm a newcomer to shopping the Achica way and with a love of all things for the home, and a new house to furnish this is a very tempting experience. I found it took a few tries to get a feel for how it works, for instance if I miss something will it come round again, and the answer seems to be probably but not always, and there is always the worry that something you choose from a single photo will not turn out as expected, and yes that has happened, sometimes better than expected and sometimes less so. I'm impressed with customer services, with speedy responses to a number of queries. Watch out for orders split into several deliveries, this can be a bit tedious if you are not at home. On the whole a great way to acquire some lovely and often unique goods, but you need to exercise discipline, decide what you really need and set a budget. Having said that an impulse buy can bring great joy!
Have used Achica for the past year - some great pieces of furniture/lighting etc and at good prices. Always improving on delivery too giving specific time slots and ease of changing unsuitable dates. I've read on some discussion boards problems with returns - I've returned one received large damaged item - follow the returns instructions and it wasn't a problem. Have a peek everyday to make sure I don't miss out !!!
Some quirky and unusual items, most of which have been good quality. I have been disappointed with a couple of purchases - a duvet set where the pillowcases were plain white, and a patchwork bench where the paint has fallen off the legs. I have been happy with all the other purchases, and its great to know exactly when they are going to arrive. There's nothing worse than hanging around waiting for deliveries.
I have been shopping on ACHICA for two years and can't recommend them more highly. Products are always interesting, can't argue with the variety or discounts, and the customer service has always been quick and responsive. Deliveries are not immediate, but that's explained up front so no surprises. I have has a couple minor hiccups with deliveries, and it would be nice to have shorter delivery time slots (or accurate short slots) , but that seems to be normal with any delivery.
Example: ordered three chairs which took one month to come. They arrived not suitable, so wasted all that time and very disappointed in the quality. Find it very frustrating that we have had several occasions when my card has been declined through no fault of myself which creates a problem at the bank.
Achica is full of weird, wonderful and tempting goods to buy for yourself and your home. However once tempted you often find the item having only just become available that morning is already sold out, or just as annoyingly, says "only 1 left" which actually also means sold out pretty much as when u try to add it to basket it says none available.
That's the first thing, the second thing is that the delivery is so expensive! I can never buy one or two small items as this delivery charge makes them too expensive. Often I will just look for that item on Amazon and find it for a similar discounted price but with free delivery.
The customer service is also soooo frustrating as there is no telephone communication. Only an online email system, so if you ever have a product enquiry, forget it as the item will be sold out or sale ended before u get a reply!
Delivery itself is ok however the delivery notification email does not have the order details on it so if you have 2 orders outstanding you don't know what it is that's arriving!
All in all, good for unusual larger items but small (especially small heavy) items, the delivery charge is ridiculous - go on Amazon!
After purchasing a coffee table we received a package a few weeks later of just the legs. The box had obviously been opened before and we discovered why last week when we were told that the coffee table top was not available and they did not know when it would become available. So what do we do with a set of table legs and no top? Answer: Have a huge box of useless stuff hanging around your house for weeks. I requested that they collect the legs and send me a refund, now several weeks after payment had been taken. Someone else had obviously had the same experience as us, hence the box being opened and re-labelled.
I'm not sure how it can be legal to offer a product, take full payment, send half of the product knowing full well the other half isn't there to sell.
Very disappointed with Achica and would warn people not to buy.
If you want to order something, wait about 2 months, with NO communication from them unless you contact them first then Achica is for you.
If you want various delivery dates and promises of a full refund which never appears within their "5-7 Working days" schedule, then Achica is for you.
If you want to use a scam of a company who refuse to put a customer service telephone number on their website, then make your next purchase with Achica.
If you want to GIVE YOUR MONEY to a "Members-Only Luxury Lifestyle Store" so they can reap the benefits of the interest, never deliver goods, then Achica is definitely for you.
Please, disappoint yourself, your kids and your family with a promise of an "Expected Delivery" for Christmas....Use Achica!
I on the other hand have still not received my goods or a refund from an order placed 6th August.

Love the site, and buy quite often from there, however I am constantly disappointed with missing items that have not made it to me because Achica were unable to secure the items, despite having a limited number of items to purchase from them to start off with. In addition it always seems to be me having to contact Achica to find out where the items are, or why they havent been delivered, and I get the standard email response apologising that they couldnt get the item and therefore have to refund me. This is frustrating as I have to wait for quite a while for the items to be delivered, and often they are gifts for other people - which means I'm then without a gift, and not much lead time to go and purchase something else for them.
If the products are limited in number, then this should be a true reflection on the site, rather than allowing you to place the order, think you are getting something and it never arrives.
Items never arrive when promised. Ordered a few gifts and the boxes were damaged making them look second hand. They don't reply to emails and are rubbish with refunds! Horrible.
Brilliant website for finding inspiration and sourcing accessories for a new house or giving an existing property a makeover.
Rating would have been 5 stars but some of products can take a long time (weeks) to arrive. However response from customer service is always prompt in dealing with any issues or resolving problems
Impressed with the good service, although more notice for delivery would be appreciated as I had to take a day off to receive order

I have bought quite a few things from ACHICA, The weather was mild when I first ordered the duvets, (I bought three).
Each night the temperature was dropping we wondered when they might arrive. Having had to wait for ages before for items we expected a long wait. I know you have to wait until the promotion ends but it's too long! I am also dissapointed with the fact that if you need to return something you have to pay p&p it cost me £13 to send one duvet back . I was however very pleased with two of the duvets I ordered "goose feather multi seasonal "from the Scott's company. I will buy from ACHICA again if I have loads of time and I make sure I won't be sending it back!
