Bloody awful and getting worse

I have been a customer of Achica for several years and can honestly say that they are dreadful. In the early days of these brand websites you expected to have to wait 3 weeks or so for a delivery, but now sites such as Brand Alley manage to fulfil orders within a couple of days. But not Achica. They still take your money and then keep you waiting endlessly without any communication as to what's happening with your order.

The order I've quoted above is for 9 items - don't get me wrong, the sales they have are attractive looking and some reasonable prices. What isn't reasonable is that I ordered goods early in October and despite many requests for an order update, I was fobbed off time and again. Finally, two and a half months after I placed the order and they took my money, I have had a response saying they are unable to fulfil my order and will issue a refund in 7 days.

While I'm having a rant about this company, their website is crap. I get a daily email from them with the latest sales and 50% of the time the email links don't work. If there is a sale that I like the look of, their bandwidth is so narrow that you can try adding stuff to your basket 7 or 8 times before it registers, and then you lose it because their web server can't cope with the traffic. (Before you think it must be my computer, I can assure you that I've used two mobile phones to access their mobile site, plus two computers and three different browsers - getting a message saying the 'pool' has been exceeded seems to indicate a problem their end, and not mine).

By all means have a look at some of the sales on achica.com, but buyer beware - they'll take your money without any clear indication as to whether you will ever receive the goods, and they're very tardy about refunds.

Also, customer service is shocking - despite frequent complaints to the company, I've never been offered any kind of recompense for having to constantly chase them and continually be let down by their service.

To be honest, check out Brand Alley - the only time I've had a problem with an item from one of their sales that arrived damaged, they were quick to respond and very accommodating.
