Purchases never received, kept my money until I followed up repeatedly

I should have known better than to order from a company that does not list a customer service phone number and forces you to use the least customer friendly "email relay" system--which they seem to only check occasionally!

Long story short: Late November I ordered three items, two rugs and a wooden stool, from ACHICA. ACHICA's estimated delivery dates were December 10-15. In spite of giving themselves a very generous delivery window, not one item out of the three was delivered on time and two out of three were NEVER delivered (still waiting for refunds!).

When I reached out to ACHICA on Dec. 17, I was told I would receive all three items before Christmas. Of course, there was no explanation given for why they failed to meet their own delivery window or compensation given. Then on December 24, without any advance notice/text or email, one rug was delivered to my house by the least reputable delivery company I have ever encountered. ACHICA's third party delivery company really left a lot to be desired. The delivery guy had no phone, no uniform and a bad attitude. As he threw my rug through my front door, I was happy I hadn't ordered anything fragile! As for my other two items--these never arrived. ACHICA claims it never received these from the manufacturer and so even though they took my order and kept my money for weeks and weeks, they could not fulfill these orders.

Just to be clear--ACHICA never reached out to me to let me know they would not deliver my items. Nor did they issue me refunds as soon as they failed to meet their own delivery window--if fact there was ZERO communication from them. Instead they waited for me to contact them repeatedly--maybe hoping they could keep the money and run. When I reached out to them again on Jan. 4 (nearly 1.5 months after I placed my orders), they took several days to "investigate" and then simply, flatly said they would need to issue me a refund--which would take 2 days to post---as of today Jan. 7, I still have not received it.

For the outrageous delay and poor service, ACHICA thoughtfully gave me £10 towards my NEXT order. NEVER AGAIN!
